Not much done this month, but I did get Nightwolf's hat to him for Yule; the new medication is helping enough that I hope to finish the "Yule Cat" socks soon.

Got a photo of the hat? Would love to see it. I still need to get OC's shop apron made, at least now I know he wants the straps to criss-cross across his shoulders, instead of going around the neck.

I got my hat done, and had enough left over yarn to whip out a quick scarf. The cardigan i'm working on is about 3/4's done. One sleeve left, then stitching together, neck band, and button bands. Not sure what i'll do when that's done LOL. I do need to finish setting up my studio.

Looks like all the ewes I put in with the rams got bred. We will be switching marking harness's this weekend and see if someone didn't take the first time around. Looking forward to babies!!!

Pura Vida in my garden
Since I retired in March we have been constantly on the go. We don’t have any out of town plans until the end of February So I am using this time to get some stuff cleaned out of my super cluttered house. Also had some minor toe surgery done which is almost healed but that slowed me up a bit. My garden is calling me!

Finished quilting the western quilt. I just need to throw a binding on it and wash it with color catchers. It is rather colorful. This will be gifted to my daughter for her new addition entertainment room/guest room. The grand kids will use it a lot.

I am then on to two classes. One is a scalloped border class and one a free motion quilting class.

“For the love of Leo” sheep to sweater project. Pattern from Yarnspirations knit crew neck cardigan. 3-ply hand spun randomly combed and spun to show off the lighter areas in the fleece. Leo is a bottle baby of mine and this is from his lamb fleece. CF8C12D3-70A5-40BB-B2FD-2CB1BBCEACC1.jpegCFBBFB0C-2862-44E9-A01B-4E1A0E9C9203.jpeg

Oh, Marsh! That quilt is so pretty. I need to get my southwest quilt out and work some more on it. It has appliqued southwest animals on it.

Halfway through a scarf to match my hat - I had to put the socks away as working on small needles was not helpful to my fingers in this weather - at least I can knit again, my back injury made it uncomfortable to sit up but now it is much improved.

Depending on my x-ray results next week, I may be able to start warping my loom or at least using the easiest of my spinning wheels, a 1970s Lovet that is almost flat (so not angled when treddling).

Meanwhile, the scarf is nice, mindless knitting.

Oh, and I LOVE the sweater and I saw it on Facebook too - is it knit int he round or flat, I might want to make one.

OH I just found the pattern and it is free, looks like great mindless knitting and it is flat, though I suspect it could be modified for round knitting, I'd probably try it as written first.

I am starting to need cardigans, I told Nightwolf I knew now why old men used to be always shown wearing them (he hates them) because once you get arthritis, they are easier to put on than pullovers. Plus you can open or close them given the chill factor in the house/outside.
