Is this a repeat? Mark Levin was speaking about this today ...

Pro-crime policies work. For criminals and their enablers.

Entire cities and areas become unlivable wastelands where only criminals and welfare recipients thrive, and the only businesses are illegal or government funded. Here's what's coming to Dallas County courtesy of Dallas County District Attorney John Creuzo.

Dallas County's new district attorney announced his office will no longer prosecute "theft of necessary items" up to $750.

Finally theft has been legalized for someone other than the government.

The announcement drew an immediate reaction from small business owners who are worried that word of the policy will encourage shoplifting.

That's the end of a number of small businesses. Who would have inventory out for the taking when the DA makes such an announcement?

Maybe they will be able to take them to small claims courts, like landlords have to do with bad tenants.

The local media reports on this have been almost all hostile. Looks like the Dallas County DA doesn't want to be re-elected...

A license to steal. Give this a little time to get around there in Dallas and you will see anarchy. Think about it. You can go into a store for 'human needs' like food and steal whatever you want (not to exceed $750) and you will not be charged or prosecuted. How many ten of thousands there will NOT take advantage of this FREE LUNCH? Remember only $750 per incident but come back as often as you want.

You would need to have all merchandise behind your counter and bulletproof glass. They order what they need, you put it in a slide drawer, they pay you, you slide the drawer to their side.
    Possible, yes.
    Practical, no.
    Socialists will love this.

It sounds a bit like the Soviet Union when I was there in the mid 80's. You walked into the store, checked out the merchandise that was behind the counter or in glass cases, got an itemized ticket written up to be taken to the cashier. I can't recall whether we got our merchandise before or after paying. It was a hassle and a time-waster, for sure.

    Possible, yes.
    Practical, no.
And the socialists loved it. It provided more non-productive jobs.

I didn't read more at the link, but perhaps the DA will also not prosecute the business owners who shoot the shoplifters? After all it is just as necessary for them to protect their business as it is for the thieves to obtain those necessary items.

it must be nice to be the one that gets to decide which laws will be enforced and which ones won't

Walmart has a $1500. min before they will prosecute and if you make it out the door you are scott free. That's why you can get curb service at half price at your local section 8 complex that is right next door.

I should take a vacation to Dallas and grab some steak, shrimp, lobster and small home appliances as they are all necessary items in my opinion. This is better than a Groupon buy.

Only? That allows for a loaded shopping cart to be pushed out the door, and if they can keep on going without being stopped, the profits for the day may be canceled out in no time.

$750 is a lot of money.

They have lost their marbles and are the enemy of decent, law-abiding business owners who are being forced to give away merchandise...no way, this is extortion.

    Democrats as well?
    Am I being repetitive, again?

I think with that decision, if I was a small business owner, I'd just close down and be done with it. Not worth it. And the idiots wonder WHY there are no services in "da hood"
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man. Yes all grocery stores will need to at least close their doors and install bars/booth and have to collect the monies before putting the goods threw a slot.

Let in one person at a time, maybe two. They pay before they leave. That takes a lot of restructuring - some new partitions, electronic door lock, etc. Prohibitive for most businesses.

Untrammeled shoplifting will shut most of them down in a week. One ~customer can kill the profits from a day or so, two ~customers can kill the profits for a week. Not winnable.

This is a part of the movement, to restructure the
criminal justice system for the POS Africans,
which is eventually going to occur,
most likely via a new civil rights act,
which has been discussed some on this board.

Same as in Philadelphia, where they forced
convenience store owners to move the protective
Plexiglas barriers, so that the POS sub-human Africans,
    could more easily rob them.

There is no more room in the county jailhouses,
and the state and federal pens are absolutely slap full,
and POS Africans are the reason.

The only solution for the businesses that are affected by this,
is to move out of the areas, where the stealing is occurring.
This is what most businesses have been doing, for decades now.

I have a family member, that was a manager of a national
retail chain store, where the shrinkage was so bad,
that they did exactly that. In my discussions with him,
after the store closed, he said that in that store,
100 percent of the stealing was done by POS Africans.

Its like this. You White peoples, and other decent peoples,
you are going to pay for the POS sub-human Africans,
    one way or other.

Get used to it, for it is only going to get worse, much worse.

Imagine now, how it is going to be, when most of the
crimes that are now committed by the POS sub-human
African race, are basically no longer crimes.

Would you want to live in a FUSA that is like that?

As a very pessimistic, conspiracy theorist/doomer/prepper,
I always look for the absolute worse in everything.

If something bad can happen it will,
and something bad will happen, before something good.

Please be safe everyone, and please arm up.

    AVOID THE GROID/GHOUL
In honour of the brave Whites in South Africa,
as they fight against their genocide.

I pray for the White race in South Africa,
with every prayer, and so should you,
    if you pray.

    Regards to all deplorables.

Not sure if that's true everywhere and has always been so...

I know of someone about 5 years ago who tried to run out of a Walmart with a backpack full of just food, kicked a security guard in the crotch, got tackled, and ended up serving months of time.

Here in my area, I heard that it is $600. It is a worry of one of the overnight employees that the store will cease to remain open at night, because there is quite a bit of theft at night, and they seem to tell their friends after getting away scott free.

San Antonio, TX has ONE all-night Walmart, out of 6+ stores. Perhaps this is the reason?

    Steps I'd take:
    1] Locate local biker bar.
2] Hire a 'Loss Prevention Team'.
3] Hire Shyster lawyer to counter sue any greedy victims of the loss prevention team.
    4] Enjoy!

Participating in a gun buy back because you believe that the criminals have too many guns is like having yourself castrated because you believe that the neighbors have too many kids.

Glorious. I may get to spend the summer working there.... or not, depending on which city the hospital system wants me to work at.
