I don't vac seal mine but that is a good idea. I've figured out how many we can use before they go too far past expiration and buy six bottles at a time. I've snagged a couple of the little case boxes they come in and keep them rotated that way. When I buy them new, they usually have at least two years or more of shelf life before they expire and we usually eat them right before they expire.We still cook bacon and save the grease
We also use the same bacon bits...mostly in green beans...I also vacuum seal the jars in food saver bags for longer storage..
Green beans on Christmas eve, years ago is what got me started using them in beans. My boys were still in high school and they are pushing mid forties so longer than I first said. Until a few years ago, they came in those glass bottles that I really loved. I think the quality was just a tad bit better in the glass.
