TEHRAN Jan 12 (Reuters) - Talks between Iran and major powers concerned about its nuclear programme to be held in Turkey next week could be the "last chance" for the West, a senior Iranian official was quoted as saying on Wednesday.

Official news agency IRNA quoted Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Iran's ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency, as saying that once Iran is able to make its own fuel for a medical research reactor, it might not return to any future talks if the Istanbul meeting fails.

"It might be the last chance because by installing fuel rods produced by Iran into the core of the Tehran Research Reactor, probably parliament will not allow the government to negotiate or send its uranium outside the country and the Istanbul meeting might be the last chance for the West to return to talks," Soltanieh was quoted as saying to French media. Iran exhibits handguns, one fitted with silencer, allegedly used by Mossad agents

Iran's intelligence minister Heidar Moslehi called his second news conference in two days inTehranTuesday, Jan. 11, to pour abuse on Israel and its spy agency and accuse them of trying to retard "scientific progress in Muslim nations." He went on to elaborate on his charge Sunday that Mossad was behind the killing of nuclear scientist Massoud Ali-Mohammadi last January with a display of handguns – one fitted with a silencer - allegedly seized from the suspects, of whom "more than 10" had been arrested.

He also exhibited communications and filming devices which he said Mossad had given its Iranian agents and a "sticky bomb" like the ones attached to the cars of two Iranian scientists attacked in Tehran last month.
Monday, Iran's state TV broadcast a purported confession by a young man identified as Majid Jamali who said he had undergone training at a Mossad facility in Israel on how to place bombs on cars.
The Iranian minister went on to warn "regional and neighboring countries that have interactions with Israel to pay attention that any facility they provide to the Zionist regime is considered against the region and the Islamic Republic." He said Israel-linked networks had set up bases in countries neighboring Iran. "We ... created intelligence bases next to them through which we could strike heavy blows against the group," he said.

debkafile's Iranian sources note that although Moslehi did not name those countries, implicit in his threat was an offer for them to join Iran in setting up a close-knit intelligence front against Israel, instead of risking Tehran's ire by providing the Zionists with facilities. Iranian media have noted that Israel maintains military and intelligence ties with Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan and Qatar, all neighbors of Iran. The minister's threat to countries hosting Israeli facilities apparently referred to the electronic surveillance stations set up there for tracking the nuclear and military activity inside Iran as legitimate targets for one of its "heavy blows." It was the first blunt warning ever to come from Tehran against its neighbors in the Persian Gulf, the Caspian region, the Caucasian and Central Asia.

Of late, Iran has been progressively deepening its intelligence and military ties with Turkey and Qatar.

So far, Israel's Foreign Ministry and the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have declined to comment on the allegations.

Western intelligence sources told debkafile that Tehran would not have launched this offensive against Israeli intelligence unless it had enough incendiary material to cause Israel and its spy service serious strategic damage and embarrassment.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with foreign press representatives on Tuesday, where he described Iran as the main concern for governments in the region. He further asserted that Iran "is determined to move ahead despite every difficulty, every obstacle and every setback to create nuclear weapons". While congratulating the US government insisting on imposing economic sanctions, he stressed that "those sanction have not yet achieved their objectives". The only chance that these sanctions will achieve their objectives is if the sanctions were to follow by incredible military options.

PM Netanyahu sketched the year 2011, as the year where another truth will be revealed: "who really wants peace". According to Netanyahu, the conventional wisdom is falsely accusing Israel as the party who does not want peace. "You have to have a lot of "HOTZPA" (insolence) to say that the Israelis do not want peace while 60,000 rockets are "aimed at our houses and cities". Netanyahu accused the Palestinians and said that they are doing every thing in their power to avoid reaching a peace agreement "the Palestinian never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity… the only way to get peace is to negotiate peace". According to Netanyahu, even the US government realized it will be difficult and time consuming to broker agreement and therefore refrained from moving forward with negotiations couple of month ago, when Israel agreed to extend the moratorium.

As many as few dozens foreign journalist from news organizations from around the world met Netanyahu in Jerusalem, in a meeting that became a traditional meeting.

Unfortunately, so am I.

This is Iran simply giving weight to Israeli commanders who, in viewing the current Hezbollah/Hamas situation, will give advice to take out "all fronts".

The whole game here is making the "evil joos" appear responsible for causing WW3 when the truth is Russia, China, and the Islamofascists have been gaming for this violent Final Phase the entire time:

I pray that when it all explodes, and Russia and China side with Iran, that "getting thrown out" is the best option and that is what will happen to you. At that point, you will be an enemy behind enemy lines. Instead of getting thrown it, it would be in your best interest to get out instead of waiting for them to find you.

I'm at an age where I don't care much. I have nothing to go back to in Australia. I like my life in China so I'll take my chances. Yes, I know the risks. One of my favorite movies is "Seven Years In Tibet" it starts with Brad Pitt getting thrown into an interment camp in British Nepal. It was a take off, of a true story.

I now get four months paid holidays a year and might get more next year. I get supplied a nice apartment along with power free plus a paid trip to Australia once a year if I want to take it. My working week is twelve 45 minute lessons this coming semester. If I went home on the dole I'd get treated like a bit of shit by social security. So is life these days in Australia for most people my age. Probably get a job somewhere in OZ but not with a life.
