The Full Deployment of the World's Eighth Largest Army Goes Unnoticed....

Tuesday, December 21, 2010 5:42

In case you missed it in the news, the world's eighth largest army successfully deployed and conducted widespread and sustained operations involving the live fire of ordnance against a native population, in which they inflicted significant loss of life while incurring no casualties themselves.

You likely missed it in the news because the events described above took place entirely within the state of Wisconsin (HT: voluntaryXchange):

The state of Wisconsin has gone an entire deer hunting season without someone getting killed. That's great. There were over 600,000 hunters.

Allow me to restate that number. Over the last two months, the eighth largest army in the world – more men under arms than Iran; more than France and Germany combined – deployed to the woods of a single American state to help keep the deer menace at bay.

But that pales in comparison to the 750,000 who are in the woods of Pennsylvania this week. Michigan's 700,000 hunters have now returned home. Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia, and it is literally the case that the hunters of those four states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.

Of course, they still lack an effective air force to seriously challenge any of the more well-known armies, but perhaps that's beginning to change....

Don't put too much faith on Armies anymore! If the US is attacked from Russia or China on home soil then it will go biological quickly. The way you fight wars yourselves is with technology. It is not one to one with ordinary guns. Wars have never been nice.

These are your fellow human beings,
literally butchered to death by American pilots
who dropped cluster bombs on them.

CBU-72 Fuel-Air Explosive

This cluster bomb is different from all the others. It’s an extremely destructive incendiary bomb, rather than a shrapnel bomb.

The U.S. military like to emphasize that it’s used to “detonate minefields” and to “destroy aircraft parked in the open.” What they would rather not discuss too publicly is that it’s also used to burn the occupants alive in armored vehicles, and to burn alive and suffocate people who are taking shelter in bunkers.

The bomb is made up of three separate bomblets dispensing an aerosol fuel cloud across the target area. As the fuel cloud descends to the ground it is ignited by an embedded detonator to produce what U.S. war criminals call “an impressive explosion.”

The rapidly expanding wave front due to overpressure flattens all objects and burns all people alive within close proximity of the epicenter of the aerosol fuel cloud. It also produces “debilitating damage” well beyond the flattened area.

Translation from military-speak:

Civilian people are horribly burned to death and their bodies crushed over a very wide area.

MOAB — Massive Ordnance Airburst Bomb

MOAB is perhaps another name for the CBU-72 Fuel-Air Explosive, or perhaps a newer version. They’re very similar incendiary bombs, in any case. MOABs are advanced cluster bombs carrying ethylene gas, and have been used against the civilian people of Iraq during the 2003 American/British invasion and state terror campaign. MOABs are essentially chemical bombs.

Like the CBU-72, MOAB ethylene bombs work by exploding fuel in the air. When a mix of fuel and air ignites, it creates a fireball and an explosive wave that spreads quickly over a much greater area than traditional explosives. The after-effects of the explosion are very similar to those of small nuclear bombs, but without the radiation.

These American cluster bombs carry ethylene gas in three barrels, each of which weighs 100 pounds. Each barrel contains 75 pounds of ethylene oxide. The industrial use of ethylene oxide is for the production of other chemical compounds such glycol ethylene which are highly poisonous.

A fuse ignites the barrel at a height of 30 feet. The barrel breaks open and the fuel is expelled, dispersing in the air to create a poisonous cloud with a 60-foot radius, 8-feet in depth.

Even without igniting, such a cloud can spread to areas that are difficult to attack with more traditional bombs, such as underground bunkers full of terrified Iraqi children. Exposure to ethylene oxide leads to lung decay, headaches, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and shortness of breath and even cancer and birth defects. The gas is highly combustible and reactive.

After release of the gas cloud, the main charge ignites the mix and the explosion spreads at 3 km per second, faster than the speed of sound, while the mix of fuel and air burns at 2,700 degrees Celsius. These destructive effects can be intensified by using additional warheads.

Traditional explosives such as TNT pack greater explosive power, but because the MOAB explodes over a longer period of time it is ultimately more destructive — especially in enclosed spaces and densely populated cities and villages full of people who never did anything to harm Americans.

The pressure created by the airburst is much greater than that of traditional bombs where the air pressure rises to just above 1kg per sq. cm. With the MOAB the air pressure goes up to 30kg per sq. cm.

The explosive mix of fuel and air traveling faster than the speed of sound also creates a powerful vacuum that sucks in all air and loose debris, creating a mushroom cloud. These effects cause cerebral concussions, blindness, blockage of air passageways and collapse of lungs, tearing of eardrums, massive internal bleeding and displacement and tearing of internal organs, and injuries from flying objects. These are in addition to the injuries which result from inhalation of the poisonous ethylene oxide cloud.

Human rights organizations have condemned MOABs as weapons of mass destruction. All such American cluster bombs don’t differentiate between civilian people and military targets, and their use in populated areas is a war crime. MOABs are therefore internationally outlawed, but of course international law means nothing to the United States. Might Makes Right. The Law of the Jungle is the only law followed by the United States military-government.

CBU-87 CEM Combined Effects Munition

According to the “Jane’s Air-Launched Weapons” directory, the U.S.-made CBU-87 “combined effects munition" is a “free-fall cluster bomb” composed of 202 “multi-purpose bomblets.” Each bomblet is capable of penetrating up to 177 mm (seven inches) of armor and has fire-starting capabilities as well.

The CEM dispenses the 202 bomblets over an area of 800 feet by 400 feet. U.S. war criminals call it “an area denial cluster weapon.”

Translation from military-speak: the bomblets create an 800 x 400 ft. uncharted mine field.

This cluster bomb is intended to destroy both lightly armored vehicles and human beings.

The CBU-87 was used extensively to slaughter Iraqi civilian men, women and children during the 1991 “Desert Storm” terror campaign.

CBU-89

The “GATOR” family of scatterable mines is another favorite body-butchering weapon used by the cowardly mass-murderers who like to think of themselves as “fighter aircrews.” The dispenser holds 72 anti-armor mines and 22 anti-personnel mines. These mines arm immediately upon impact.

The GATOR has two integrated “kill mechanisms”: a magnetic influence fuze to sense armor, and deployed trip wires that explode the bomb when adults, children or your pet dog walks on or disturbs them.

Another feature of the GATOR is the “random delay function” detonating over several days for “highly effective area denial and harassment operations.”

Translation from military-speak:

These evil weapons are highly effective for the murder and long-term terrorization of human beings. Any human beings it pleases the U.S. Corporate Mafia Government to use them against. Such as Iraqi children, Vietnamese children, Laotian children, Cambodian children, Albanian children and Yugoslavian children.

I have seen this tragity up close. For a Christian nation we have shown our true colors.
May God have mercy on this once great nation.

In wars, there are always civilian deaths. That's why the first job of a leader of a country, is to protect their citizens from invasion. Instead Saddam INVADED his neighbor Kuwait. Which guaranteed that his people would feel the repercussions.

It was a war, and all wars are terrible to the innocent who are caught in it's path. Not a "1991 “Desert Storm” terror campaign" as quoted from this article.

While your showing pictures of suffering, why don't you show pictures of what Saddam did to his own people?

America is not perfect, and can be quite evil at times. But couldn't you find something that wasn't pure anti-American propaganda?

How did this go from a story about peaceful hunting activities in Wisconsin (which is a dupe thread btw) to collateral damage, etc.?

Did anyone read the original post or just go right in to playing off CC's propaganda piece?

China Connection, there is no proof these pictures are of people killed or injured aby American forces. Anyone can set up a website and accuse us of anything.

Try laying the blame for the civilian deaths on the insurgents who insist on hiding out with their families.

I have two words for you and they aren't "happy birthday."

No opportunity wasted. Some want the issue. What about "The Great Leap Forward" in China? Low tech killing, high tech killing. WTF is the difference?

if you don't like this country GTFO. no one is perfect but we are pretty close.

when you go to keep peace, some times the wrong people get hurt. we are fighting cowards that attack and then hide behind the innocent.

What rebuttal do you have now?

It would be great to rebutt with pics of how China treats their citizens, but there is no freedom of the press there, so no pics!!!! You guys obviously need the US military's help in establishing a bill of rights.

really CC, shame on you!!! i think you are intelligent to know better than this!
