Communism is evil with a capital E. It is yet another fantasy utopian attempt to create a perfect world here on earth. Only problem is the people inventing the utopia are flawed humans, their ideas never work, it rewards laziness and irresponsiblity, tries to make it so everyone is equal in all respects (can never happen), and since most people don't ever want it, it always has to be pushed on people by force.

Generations have been ruined in many communist countries. It also is by its very nature an atheist system and represses all religious freedoms, as well as freedoms of speech, association, movement and the right to self defense.

Basically this world was created to be a place to learn, not a perfect world to enjoy. So no matter what utopian fantasies anyone comes up with, suffering, deprivation, and evil will always exist. This world is not our home, and attempts to make a "Heaven on Earth" always turn into the worst hells.

Perfection exists, but humans can't create it by their own imperfect minds. Perfection does not exist in the mortal realm of birth and death.

You must understand the basics...

#1. Everyone is greedy, EVERYONE, from the poorest to the richest.
#2. Those who cannot realize their greed are envious. Envy is as dangerous as greed.
#3. Those in government who can best achieve the ends to their greed - power, leverage the envy of the masses to their advantage.
#4. Socialists are the most highly trained in the concepts of #3.


Bernie Sanders can talk as populist as he wants - but his aim is to further pursue ever greater amounts of power in a narrower and narrower band of government.


If you want to equalize the realization of greed (the pursuit of success), then throw out the current set of tax laws, and tax consumption of non-essentials. Bernie Sanders would NEVER propose such - which reveals the truth of his agenda.

Forget Bernie or Ron Paul or any of those guys, OK.

My position has always been to do away with the money/profit system anyway, and no I am not a communist. The point is that so few control every single breath we take in the world. It should not be like that. Their power emanates from all the money they have. They literally worship the Golden Calf. That's not "success," that is evil because the world is falling apart, and now the Chinese are onto the Golden Calf too. You think they're going to be more fun than the clowns we now have? Love of money is still the root of all evil, or the Bible is a lie.

Which is it?

So if love of money is the root of all evil, then Bernie is one of the most evil - as his constant focus is how best to take it from others, control it, and be the one who decides who gets it.

There probably is no way to ever get around it, which is why we will end up with Armageddon at some point.

I've studied the Bible in depth, but I'm no longer very "religious."


I trust the government less than I do any corporation. I don't remember the last time a corporation put anyone in jail, or kicked their door in and shot up the home, including the family dog, or took so much in taxes that people could no longer afford the homes they purchased.

There is nothing I need from the Federal government (my local government provides my sewer, water, police, fire, teachers), outside of them keeping out dangerous illegals, and wish they would just cease and desist - Bernie and company want just the opposite.

Everything from the Federal Reserve, to TSA strip searches, to bailouts for corporations that used it to give themselves bonuses, to ever increasing citiznery dependency on nameless/faceless drones in Washington D.C., is all because of the Federal government.

And Bernie Sanders wants to make that entity EVEN MORE POWERFUL.

Why do you think Hank Paulson and his Wall Street goons were able to get a $2 trillion bailout at the drop of a hat totally against popular opinion? Why do you think Tim Geithner, Larry Summers, Ben Bernanke and other criminal financial elite are still running the show instead of serving prison time?

Exactly why Bernie Sanders is so dangerous.


It is this entitiy (the Federal bureaucracy, in all its tentacles) he wants to GROW.

The more complex it becomes the more it is suited to the most powerful. Socialists like Bernie Sanders is why we have 2000 page bills, like Obamacare, and tens of thousands of pages of tax code.


Like I said, you are finding your heroes in weird places.



BTW, Bernie Sanders is one of the biggest backers of Obama. What does that tell you?

I've known Bernie since the 1970's when he went from student to mayor of Burlington VT... eventually making it to his status today.... voted on and on by students-faculty at UVM community ultraliberal Burlington VT area (Ho Chi Min City we always called it when I was student there those days). He is an unabashed Commie and proud of it. At least he is honest about it, contrary to his contemporaries. By the way, Sen Patrick Leahy was his DA then

So you are against evil federal bureaucracies looking after the public interest like, oh let's see, the SEC, CFTC, etc. Jeepers that'd be a nightmare....FOR THE BANKSTERS that are looting America with wild abandon since there hasn't been a cop on the beat for more than a decade!

The problem is not government, the problem is who our government works for! (Although I'm a fan of John Stossel and am well aware that there is plenty of pork, waste and mis-allocation of resources begging for reform.)

The Tea Party folk are effectively anarchists in their mentality and the banksters have been grateful for their unwitting support.

With the most recent Congressional elections the financial criminal elite can rest assured they will not be held to account by Uncle Sam for their ongoing malfeasance. Nope, Big Brother won't interfere with their private business dealings and is there solely to provide unlimited financing for their endless, reckless gambling habits with America's savings and future and provide bailouts when their multi-trillion dollar bets go bad.

They are not exactly a dissertation on transparency.


Why do you think that is?


Why do you think with every passing law, evey new regulation, every new page of tax code, the gap between rich and poor has grown?


Why do you think the Senators and Representatives are rich well beyond their Federal salaries, and with every advance in their power over the citizenry the gap between the rich and poor grows wider?



Hmmm, could it be that only the uber-rich can navigate the legislation, and regulations, leaving everyone else in the dust????


Thanks Bernie Sanders. BTW, has Bernie Sanders proposed doing away with the Federal Reserve (you know, the folks who have been so generous to those "banksters" you refer to)? Answer: no. Has he complained one iota about our bailing out Europe, and spending prodigiously on foreign governments and foreign aid? Answer: no.


The only similarity between Bernie Sanders and Ron Paul is their views on foreign intervention. Other than that, they're at polar extremes.


wake up, Bernie Sanders only cares about to what extent he can force you to become dependent on that $300/week he can string you along with every other month. The idea that "greed is good" outght to ring false to at least some of the people on this board. The idea that "government/corporations (same/same) are the answer to everything" should, too.
