E-mail that I got today. Bet you didn't know this....I didn't!!!!
Kagan was representing Obama in all the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them.

Once again the Senate sold us out.
Well, someone figured out why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court.... Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama. She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course. They were never heard. It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it? The American people mean nothing any longer.. It's all about payback time for those that compromised themselves to elect someone that really has no true right to even be there. We should be getting so sick of all of this nonsense.

Here are some websites of the Supreme Court Docket:
You can look up some of these hearings and guess what?? Elana Kagan is the attorney representing Obama!!! Check out these examples:

First - I don't think there are any pending cases to the SCOTUS concerning his status as a natural born citizen.

Second - she would HAVE to recuse herself if one ever made it to the court.

Three words:Chester Alan Arthur.

Chester A Arthur.
Twenty-first President.
To the courts, it's called "historical precedent".

Chester Alan Arthur was the son of Irish-born preacher William Arthur (born in Cullybackey, Ballymena, County Antrim) and Vermont-born Malvina Stone Arthur. Malvina's grandfather, Uriah Stone, fought for the Continental Army during the American Revolution and named his son, Malvina's father, George Washington Stone. Malvina's mother was part Native American.[2]:4 At the time of the birth of the future president, Arthur's father was an Irish subject of the United Kingdom of Scottish descent, who naturalized as a U.S. citizen in 1843.[3]

Arthur's restored ancestral home from the late 18th Century is in County Antrim in Northern Ireland. An interpretive center at the cottage tells the story of the Arthur family, and provides visitors with demonstrations of life in Ireland over the last 200 years.[4]

Most official references list Arthur as having been born in Fairfield in Franklin County, Vermont on October 5, 1829. However, some time in the 1870s Arthur changed it to 1830 to make himself seem a year younger.[2]:5[5] His father had initially migrated to Dunham, Lower Canada, where he and his wife at one point owned a farm about 15 miles (24 km) north of the U.S. border.[2]:4 There has long been speculation that the future president was actually born in Canada and that the family moved to Fairfield later. If Arthur had been born in Canada, some believe that he would not have been a natural-born citizen (interpreting the law to mean that to be a natural-born citizen one must be born on U.S. territory) and would thus have been constitutionally ineligible to serve as vice president or president. During the 1880 U.S. presidential election a New York attorney, Arthur P. Hinman, was hired to explore rumors of Arthur's foreign birth. Hinman alleged that Arthur was born in Ireland and did not come to the United States until he was fourteen years old. When that story failed to take root Hinman came forth with a new story that Arthur was born in Canada. This claim also fell on deaf ears.[2]:202–203 In any case, Arthur's father was not naturalized until some years after his birth, resulting in Arthur having dual citizenship.

In other words, it hasn't mattered since the nineteenth century!!

What TECH32 said.

This is my understanding as well.

McCain's eligibility was never in question, his birth in Panama on a US base/US Canal Zone possession to two legal US citizens is well-substantiated. McCain though a terribly weak candidate, was good-to-go and wasn't elected anyways.....

I was surprised to learn that McCain wasn't born in the US either.

Actually he was born in the Panama Canal Zone which, at that time, was considered American turf.

Unlike Zero, McCain's parents were both American citizens.

Not saying McCain wasn't eligible, just surprised. Interesting that neither candidate was born on the mainland.

Almost like the Globalists planned it that way.

I think your misunderstanding. She in her prior job block the cases from even being held, now Obama's paying her back for her favors. This isn't concerning action now taken now or in the future.

Five Solicitors General have later served on the Supreme Court: William Howard Taft (who was Chief Justice of the United States), Stanley Forman Reed, Robert H. Jackson, Thurgood Marshall, and Elena Kagan. Some who have had other positions in the office of the Solicitor General have also later been appointed to the Supreme Court. For example, Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr. was the Principal Deputy Solicitor General during the George H.W.Bush administration and Associate Justice Samuel Alito was an Assistant to the Solicitor General. Only one former Solicitor General has been nominated to the Supreme Court unsuccessfully, that being Robert Bork; however, no sitting Solicitor General has ever been denied such an appointment. Eight other Solicitors General have served on the United States Courts of Appeals.

There are two major fast tracks to the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and Solicitor General. Anyone appointed to those two posts are normally on the short list of candidates for any Supreme Court opening. If a Republican President appoints someone to those two positions and a position opens under another the same or another Republican President, they review the candidate. Same goes for Democrats.

A judgeship on the D.C. Circuit is often thought of as a stepping-stone for appointment to the Supreme Court. Chief Justice John Roberts and Associate Justices Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg are alumni of the D.C. Circuit. In addition, the Reagan Administration put forth two failed nominees in 1987 from the D.C. Circuit

She was appointed Solicitor General by Obama thus was already fast-tracked.
