JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An attack on a Jacksonville woman began as an argument over President-elect Barack Obama, according to police.

The incident took place Friday morning at a Westside apartment in the 4000 block of Confederate Point Road when a fight over politics turned into a physical battle.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, 46-year-old Lindsy Whitfield got worked up when his friend told him she didn't like Obama.

Police said Whitfield slammed a picture frame on the floor of the woman's apartment, and then picked up the shattered frame, threw it and hit her in the face.

The enraged man then began beating the victim with his fists before telling her he was going to kill her, according to a police report.

The victim told police that after Whitfield stopped hitting her he grabbed her stun gun and ran out of the apartment.

Despite patrol efforts, Whitfield could not be located by police. He is wanted on charges of simple battery, petit theft and making threats.

Just imagine what will happen if he's deemed ineligible to be President by the Supreme Court...

anyone criticising Obama, will get the same treatment, no-one will DARE criticise him in the media or in personal exchanges for fear of ridicule or violence
instead you'll end up like the Brits, embarrassed and unable to talk about politics openly in any environment

I'll bet the engraged man had a bumper sticker on his car that said "coexist" or "give peace a chance".

Why is it that these Bambi supporters cannot understand why a lot of people don't like him? It's still a free country---I hope.

they dare not deem him to be ineligible, that would be racist, though if he were white, people, even his supporters probably would accept it
members of the supreme court would be attacked/vilified/ridiculed etc etc

Seems to be how it is doesn't it. Only some have a right to an opinion now and you best not give yours because you don't have that same right if it doesn't agree with theirs.

why bother arguing with a supporter of the evil one? they are so brain dead,it is a total waste of time. it was\is the same way with the rapist we had in the White House a few years back. try telling them it wasn't about the sex with the little fat one, it's about LYING and getting campaogn contributions from the COMMUNIST chinese, and selling secrets from los alamos. their eyes glaze over and they don't hear a word you are saying. that pigs wife is going to be sec of state because the useless senate won't look into their thievery and the other criminal acts they performed to get the carpet bagger elected to the senate in the peoples republic of new york. i'm not a huge fan of carlin, but he had it exactly right in that video.
