Privately held uncoded ammunition to be destroyed by 2011
By Online Friday, November 28, 2008

- Frank Livingston

The bill that is being pushed in 18 states (including Illinois and Indiana) requires all ammunition to be encoded by the manufacturer in a data base of all ammunition sales. So they will know how much you buy and what calibers. Nobody can sell any ammunition after June 30, 2009 unless the ammunition is coded.

Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011. (Including hand loaded ammo.) They will also charge a .05 cent tax on every
round so every box of ammo you buy will go up at least $2.50 or more!

If they can deprive you of ammo they do not need to take your gun!

This legislation is currently pending in 18 states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Washington.

To find more about the anti-gun group that is sponsoring this legislation and the specific legislation for each state, go to:

"Any privately held uncoded ammunition must be destroyed by July 1, 2011."

Exactly how do they propose to enforce this? House to house? If so, there will be a hot time in the NE Georgia mountains.

In addition to modern firearms and a large supply of ammo, I have black powder weapons. I can make my own powder and balls from raw materials.

Sounds like they are really spoiling for a 2nd American Revolution. We are going to need a lot of rope for treasonous politicians.

Looks like the website is privately registered through godaddy. Seems their office resides in Arizona.

Probably something John McCain has a hand in I'm sure.

such an action would only pass in the most BLUE of BLUE states. AZ had legistlation on this is and itfailed.

Cali will pass something like this, so will NY.

Good job enforcing it though...

Just as people are convinced to support their "choice" with the dem/repub party, I'm certain the NRA will have no trouble with this in Negotiating Rights Away.

The jokes on Americans, but they are such stupid friggin rubes they just don't have the capacity to comprehend it.

No, WK, they don't have the capacity to comprehend it. And I pity them because of that. They are deceived, in debt, overwhelmed just getting through one workday, tired when they get up, tired when they go to bed.

It's up to people like us to keep the fire burning.....

Here's what's in the works for reloaders: gunpowder with a short life span, that's specifically designed to deteriorate over months.

Ah, the kind of purposeful and effective legislation I expect from our governments.

Undoubtedly, this will dramatically curtail gun crimes, as criminals will be caught as quickly as they can shoot; just as they are now caught based on the evidence left behind by their legally-obtained and registered weapons.

They could work around this law by using stolen or reloaded ammunition, or by removing the serial numbers from ammunition, but they won't be able to, since those activities will also be illegal!

If you make something illegal, it can't happen any more! Amazing!

Incrementalism. Take a little at a time. Over the course of decades. Avoid confrontation while taking little bits and pieces one at a time.

Not exactly the stuff revolutions are made out of.

6. Protect America Act
7. Military Commisions Act
8. 2007 Defense Authorization Act
9. John Warner Defense Act
10.Patriot Act II
11.Patriot Act I

And so it begins ... as it continues to approach critical mass! The lines are supposedly drawn - here and elsewhere!

Now, when do we start reading stories of TB2K members arrested or shot for defending their Constitutional rights?:sldr:

And even more importantly ... will we just be posting our condolences?:shr:

They can bloody well come and TAKE IT.

We'll see how THAT attempt pans out for them....

Bingo.

They claim they can't round up 12 million illegals in this country and that it would overwhelm their resources.... wonder what will happen if they attempt to round up 80+ million gun owners???

Answer: The Second American Revolution.

Those congressional sissies would never step foot outside their precious Washington offices again due to fear. They know they would finally wake the slumbering American Giant.

frog in a pot of boiling water. the British did this to our forefathers, but they were smart enough to have a thermometer in their pocket. the :sheep: today don't.

eventually a group will say enough is enough - only after they have nothing to loose. it's much more complicated today then in 1775.

:hmm:

No problem for supplying the rope.....us Orygunians have plenty! :D

As for destroying our ammo......yeah right. One round at a time. One round at a time........

Anybody feel like they're being pushed back into a corner?

I was listening to a local christian radio station last week and one of the male DJ's stated on air: "Will you resist unto death"? "Will you"!?

The other DJ stepped in and quickly clarified that they were NOT advocating open insurrection......but it sure sounded like the opening preparations for it.

Push me once and I'll forgive you and 'pretend' that you accidently bumped into me. Push me twice and things will get 'testy'.......

I'm surrounded by a lot of DGI's that are starting to get it. It's kinda funny to listen to them go on about all of this. They are excited and confused all at once. I just grin and saw something benign like "wow" or "really"? and listen to them try to assimilate me into their understanding of what they're seeing and comprehending.

BTW, I've stopped thinking that I'll be enjoying my retirement/golden years. I've come to the conclusion that this is as good as it's gonna get.

People, enjoy these days that you have. Cherish each breath that you can take as Free Men, for they are numbered and short.

They can check my ammo one round at a time but they are going to be coming fast. With the bailouts and now this BS they aren't going to like what is coming. As Jefferson said we need another revolution to feed the Tree of Liberty.

BUY MORE AMMO!

Sure, if everyone just stands by and does nothing. Making uncoded ammo illegal is a HUGE line in the sand. They can not enforce such a move without jack-booted thuggery tactics which will most certainly result in civilian resistance. Taking our ammo, OUR PROPERTY that we paid with our hard earned cash, is no different than taking our guns. I wouldn't stand for it and I'm sure many here wouldn't stand for it...maybe you would and that's why you said that...? :shr:

It won't work that way. They'll come to your house responding to a complaint that the tomato plants in your window look like marijuana. Confirming that those plants do indeed look like marijuana, they will proceed to your back door, shooting your dog in the process. They will sack the house and find your un-coded ammo. They will forget about the tomato plants.

They'll tell the press about this crazy guy who had thousands of rounds of ammunition, not to mention "survivalist-type" supplies and a suspicious set-up for growing plants indoors.

People will listen to the news and comment on what a nut-case you are before changing the channel.

There will be no revolution.

um, Just as a point of order... if I already own the ammo, and I bought it legally, how can they pass an ex post facto law that requires me to change that ammo?

I think somebody has been smoking something and is a bit confused about what can and can not be done with the LAW. New stuff, we are toast... old stuff is "grandfathered" in I would expect. But then I am not a legislator.

the govt. is more interested in the 180 million gun owners then the 23 million illegals who are a drain on our country. we see clearly where their priorities are. border control is back burner to gun control...when 1/2 of the prison population is illegal immigrants.

I do not see more complications now than then...there have always been sheep...it won't matter, though, because only 5% of the American population actively engaged in American Revolution I...and we are in countdown now.

Like background checks or CCW permits or import bans or gun show regs, etc etc etc weren't all "lines"?

Everyone IS going to stand by and do nothing. And keep voting dem/repub.

Now we have the crazies in the urban areas arming themselves to the teeth. We'll have friggin "soccer mom" shootouts before long.

This is not going to end well....

when i say complicated i mean technology...our names are in 1000's of databases nationwide...that 5% of the population would need to be willing to risk all... i think the countdown would end when American's have nothing left to them that is not in govt. control. 0 hour is when then come for the guns.

" Privately held uncoded ammunition to be destroyed by 2011"

:prfl::xpnd::jstr:

NOT

Don't know Rex, I read the legislation in its draft template form. It says that all manufacturers and private citizens have to destroy their uncoded ammo by 1/1/2011.

Why do you think this won't happen, or am I misunderstanding what you posted?

Rex Jackson

Has No Life - Lives on TB
So let me get this straight, they ruin the global economy, they steal everyone's money, the print counterfeit like there is no tomorrow, they spit on the people, now they want people to toss away $trillions of perfectly good ammo at again, the tax payers expense.

What purpose is this supposed to serve?

:screw:

I think its almost time for a new government Well, actually we are 25 years past due. cause the one we have now is controlled by satan.

How many do you think will notice? :shr: And of the number that notice, how many will act?

If we go by recent history . . . not many. And those that do, just became "terrorists" in the eyes of the masses. Except of course for the DOJ informants within the group who only see a method of enriching themselves at the expense of putting this Country back on it's proper course.
