CRIME Another Dunkin' Donuts Robbery and Shooting

- Broward County deputies are investigating a robbery that led to a customer being shot at a Tamarac Dunkin' Donuts.

two men, armed with guns robbed the store and shot a customer.

The customer, a 56-year-old male, was shot by a shotgun, detectives said.

He was transported to a near by trauma hospital. His condition is unknown.

According to detectives, one

suspect walked inside of the Dunkin' Donuts and fired immeditately, striking the customer in the back.

Detectives then said the suspect took money from the register and then robbed others in the store.

Just last night, three customers were robbed and shot at a Delray Beach Dunkin' Donuts.

It is unknown if the two are related.

Around here we had a rash of the "typical" negro types who would hold you up when you were in the bathroom at the urinal. Wouldn't matter if you were carrying or not.

imaginative, not being sarcastic, I was curious about the statistic. If blacks commit 55% of the murders then whites commit 45%? If so, thats not nearly worthy of news, no? I mean being a 5-10% difference. Or maybe whites commit 40% and the remaining mixed population commit the other 5% which would make sense seeing they are a minority by large. Again, not no big news flash or anything.

Funny - around here robbing a DD is like trying to hit a police station. It seems the last few times it was tried the boys (and girls) in blue were already present and hilarity ensued.

Not to take the thread off track (actually I guess the statistic is on topic) but the point is a significant minority (6%) commit a majority (55%) of the murders(and other crimes) in the US.

Yeah, I think it is noteworthy and newsworthy.

Something needs to be done about the negro crime in America- instead of addressing the facts and attempting to somehow come up with a solution to better our society and the future for our children- folks simply tend to ignore it or somehow convince themselves that it is "not nearly worthy of news".

There may be no connection, but many Dunkin' Donuts are owned and operated by Indian families. Maybe this ties in with the deal overseas maybe not. I know they had a problem with people trying to pay with counterfeit money recently.
Does sounds like they are being targeted. These areas are generally well-heeled white retirees in condos, large Jewish population there.

The one in Tamarac was on State Road 7, which is not a place I would shop at night. I've been to that exact Dunkin Donuts in the daytime, however. It's safe enough then, but one must be more "on guard" than in some other areas. My husband's aunt had a purse snatched within a mile of that area, on the same SR7.

Still, these guys are nuts. People comply and they STILL shoot them? Looks like I'll be avoiding DD until they catch the creeps.

Three arrested in Dunkin' Donuts shooting

BROWARD COUNTY, FL -- Broward Country and Palm Beach County Sheriff's Departments have announced the arrests of three men responsible for several recent armed business robberies, shootings.

At a press conference, BSO Sheriff Al Lamberti said, "These are just cold-blooded thugs who enjoyed doing this." He said one of the suspects said about the shootings, "His comment was he just wanted to up his body count."

Last week detectives from the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Delray Beach, Sunrise and Lauderhill Police began working together after determining that a group of shotgun-wielding suspects were committing crimes and shooting innocent victims.

The most recent crimes were Monday, November 24th, Dunkin Donuts shop in Sunrise was robbed.
Wednesday November 26th, Dunkin Donuts in Delray Beach was robbed, one man outside and three customers inside were shot, including an 84 year-old man who took a shotgun blast to the face.

Wednesday November 26th, 7-Eleven at in Pompano Beach was robbed.

Thursday November 27th, Dunkin Donuts in Tamarac was robbed and a 56-year-old man was shot in the back. The victim remains hospitalized in critical condition.

The Broward County Sheriff's Department assigned dozens of deputies, detectives and SWAT members to a stake-out and surveillance operation over the weekend and into this week, anticipating that the robbers would strike again.

Tuesday afternoon, Lauderhill Police picked up three suspects on an unrelated case. Police say they were seen stealing a pit bull and were in a white Toyota Camry.

BSO robbery detectives brought the suspects to the Public Safety Building where the trio was interviewed and subsequently admitted their involvement in the violent crimes.

Jonathan Jackson, 23, James Herard, 19, and Calvin Weatherspoon, 20, implicated themselves in the Dunkin Donut robberies in Tamarac, Sunrise and Delray Beach and the Pompano 7-Eleven hold-up.

One to two more suspects are being sought for the Delray Beach armed robbery.

Jackson, Herard and Weatherspoon claim to be members of the Crips gang.

Delray Beach Police say the investigation continues in Broward County.

The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information regarding the suspects in custody or the whereabouts of other suspects, still at large, is asked to dial 911, or call the Broward Sheriff’s Office at 954-765-4321, or Crime Stoppers, anonymously at 954-493-TIPS. There is a $23,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

Legendary New Orleans Black Foot Soldier Katrina Ahmadinejad called the trio’s arrest outrageous.

“There is a large percent of our brothers who are imprisoned who are not guilty of committing any type of crime,” Ahmadinejad says. “This is because the so called crimes our brothers commit are against people who already owe us for things they did to our ancestors and have yet to make restitution for.”

Ahmadinejad says he, along with leading Foot Soldiers from other states across their network are coordinating a protest, which they hope to launch in 2009, against the American Criminal Justice System that will be aimed at freeing all black social action protest activists.

in one of his writings, made the point of a good many of armed robberys when the people were ordered to lay on the floor or into a back room , they were killed, that it would better to take the chance and fight back and maybe even be wounded but still alive, than to be compliant and be dead
