Talk about a serious turn of events. This opportunistic attacks targeting westerners found overseas is the perfect solution for both Islam and ANTI-Globalists (a MUCH LARGER INTERNATIONAL GROUP) to asymmetrical opposition to both western power, AND GLOBALISM.
Merely targeting and attacking westerners, not only tourists but especially businessmen wherever overseas they are found takes no organization, no terrorist funding, no exotic weapons(almost all businessmen and tourists arrive overseas disarmed). All it would take is worldwide, pervasive attacks by one or two anti-globalists with a garrote(strangle) or knife singling out westerners overseas in elevators, back alleys, bathrooms, parks, their own rented cars, or other isolated places TO ABSOLUTELY REVERSE GLOBALISM AND BRING WESTERNERS BACK TO THEIR HOME SHORES FOR SAFETY. There is no effective defense against such tactics.
Once the anti-globalists and Islamic radicals see the absolute effectiveness of this method of asymmetrical warfare they will unite, in methods if not politically or organizationally and we will see a world unsafe for international travel by westerners.
It takes almost NO TIME for the overwhelming majority of westerners to react to targeted attacks on them. They will absolutely put safety first and cancel plans...business and travel to any nation they fear they will be targeted. There are not enough police and military on the planet to surround and protect every tourist that now travels abroad.
This is an ANCIENT method of successfully repelling invasion by foreigners. Look for more of it in the future. I think the "small world" globalist concept is either dead or dying with the advent of targeting westerners found overseas.
