Disgusting: Planned Parenthood Now Selling Gift Certificates For Abortions
Wondering what to get your female loved one for Christmas? How about a gift certificate for an abortion? Because nothing says “I love you” or “I care” like “Here, kill your unborn child, on me!”
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Gift certificates have become a popular holiday gift option, but a controversial new one, already has people talking. For the first time, Planned Parenthood in Indiana is offering gift certificates. The organization said a big increase in calls and visits from newly unemployed and uninsured Hoosiers prompted what it calls the unusual, yet practical gift option.“People are making really tough decisions about putting gas in their car and food on their table, so we know that many women especially put healthcare at the bottom of their list to do,” said Chrystal Struben-Hall, Vice President of Planned Parenthood of Indiana.
Just in case anyone doesn’t believe it could be true, here’s the website where the gift certificates are on sale. “Health care.” So that’s what we’re calling the murder of unborn children these days. And yes, I’m aware that Planned Parenthood offers certain other services, but let’s not kid ourselves. The group runs abortion mills.Women don’t go there for checkups. They go there to rid themselves of the responsibility of their children by having them killed and scraped out of their wombs.

The certificate says Good for services on your choice of birth control method. This could be anything from free condoms to the 5 year device or health services like a pap test.. I guess it could be for abortion too.

As far as the site, it says Requested URL Not Found.

'INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Christmas for many is the season of giving. At Planned Parenthood of Indiana, it's about giving the gift of health care and contraception.

The network of 35 health centers across Indiana has begun offering holiday gift certificates for basic health care services "or the recipient's choice of birth control method," it announced this week.'

Thanks for following up on that, MountainGal. I think a gift of birth control in such difficult times, which can prevent more kids being abandoned or beaten to death by frustrated adults is a very good idea. The kids are going to suffer mightily as things continue to deteriorate.

Merry Christmas! Nothing says "I love you" like a murder.

Rubbers, spermicides equal murder? Get a grip.

I am a realist. Frustrated and stressed parents are at high risk for abusing and even killing their children. Being able to manage the size of their families (after some "Poor Man's Entertainment") is better than the alternative. Effective birth control has its place.

As much as I hate Planned Parenthood, in many places it is the only location you can be fitted for non-abortive BC devices such as a diaphram.

Planned parenthood, healthcare...and abortions...aren't those contradiction interms????? I wouldn't call murdering a child...exactly parenting or caring of health..(rapes..accidents such as cars, etc. not withstanding)...I don't know about any one else!

My favorite line in there....its a popular holiday gift option...its actually popular. What does the guy exactly say to the girl or the mother to the daughter....I don't want kids..sorry or I don't want any more grandkids... You are too young...here ya go, sorry for the accident but....the sex was great but...I've already raised one family...here ya go! ......Merry Christmas!

Less than 5% of PP clinics actually perform abortions.

This is for services like birth control or well-woman care. If chicks can leave condoms in a stocking, why not a guy to his gal? Maybe it ALSO means he wants her to get checked out so she doesn't die of cervical cancer.

Then you sit down like two adults and actually talk about the trip....not hide it in a stocking like a child!

Um...is this article about abortion certificate or getting a check up...if its about a checkup then she can go to the county/obgyn/doctor which she should be doing once a year anyways! If its about abortion...that is not a gift but rather some one else's thoughtlessness and selfish suggestion.

My feeling is that both partners should pay for birth control. It isn't just the woman's responsibility.

Harbinger, people who have insurance can go to the doc. Most of the patients who use PP for well-woman care don't have insurance. PP operates on a sliding scale based on ability to pay. It is not unusual for PP docs to treat diabetes or high blood pressure as well as do a gyn exam. Quite often the patients are low-income women who can't see another doc the rest of the year.

No PP wants to do abortions on anyone. Their primary purpose is to PREVENT unwanted pregnancies before they start, by making low-cost contraception available.

I rarely post, but I had to say something here. I interned at our local PP during college and I can tell you, unequivocally, that our PP does NOT perform abortions. They offer basic, low/no cost gynocological care and offer pregnancy prevention counseling (and yes, that includes information on abstinence!) and birth control. I'd guess that something like 90% of the women we saw for healthcare reasons were poor, married women who could not afford the care and/or birth control otherwise. Personally, I think the best way to insure that no one gets an abortion is to prevent the unwanted pregnancy in the first place (not to mention that's just one less poor person sponging off of public assistance!), but that's just me . . . I tend to be maddeningly logical like that. :shr:

This is something that is despicable!

Oh yeah, why would someone need a gift certificate for a freakin' free condom?

Planned Barrenhood's 'health care' revolves around death.

This is disgusting.

I had the "sit down adult talk" with my son ... at many ages ... when he was 20 and in a relationship I was aware he was very sexually active in I also gave him 2 stocking for christmas that year .. one filled with the usual goodies and the 2nd one filled to the top with Condoms ... Partly as a joke and partly as a reminder of those talks we had about sexual and personal responsibility. As a college student I knew money was tight and wanted to make sure he was protected.

As far as giving one as a gift certificate ... a bit torn on that ... if for condoms and birth control ... ok I guess ... as for use for a Abortion ... beyond tacky and tastless.

Men should look out for #1 too. Don't just take the gal's word for it that she's on birth control - or even if you know she is. Even the very best methods can fail.

Use a rubber, or don't whine that you aren't responsible when she gets pregnant "because you trusted her to use something." You became half responsible when you stuck it in her.

I agree.

But if I had to be THE ONE to get physically pregnant, I would do MORE than the horn dog trying to stick something into me to prevent disease and pregnancy.

Though they are both ultimatle responsible.
