Down on the Farm...
We found an older Harvest Maid food dehydrator (square 9 tray type) at the local Union Mission this week. It was only 9$ so we brought it home. Its probably 30 yrs old and looks to have been used very little. All the trays and screens are intact and it works perfectly! BUT there was no booklet with it and I have no idea where to find the times and temps needed to dry different things.
Does anybody have a link or a PDF file or something I can refer to? I am low on preps right now and can't afford to mess up at all on any of it. Thanks if you can help, Kathy
PS- I've never used a dehydrator of this type, I had a cheap round one (useless) and have mainly used my ovens pilot light or the warming setting to dry stuff (real rocket science technique
)
