ECON What large stores offer loadable credit cards

You know the prepaid credit cards you can load cash into

Walmart and Costco here in Canada.

Walgreen's and CVS in this neck of the woods... Also some Dollar General Stores.

My thought on this....if they shut down the banking system, how would a purchase using the card be verified and approved?? It would be like any other card if they should shut down the whole system.

Yes true. When the sats are down then all ATM and such go down.

I misplaced my credit card I was going to use for netflix. I just need to get a one time use card until my new card comes in. Netflix is a treat I give myself because I deserve it. And TV is nothing but trash. Plus I really want to see Casablanca and the Maltese Falcon again with no political interuptions.

Plus it never gets old.

Many of those cards have stale dates.

Cash is king.
