The first meeting of the SoCal TB Intellectual Society, er, VC and SF Valley SoCal SW Sub-MAG, happened last night as an asteroid was entering our atmosphere on the other side of the globe.

Okay, it wasn't really at a bar per se, it was at a restaurant, but it did involve some good wine, a nice dinner, and some lively conversation considering the state of world events.

Some pictures were captured to commemorate the occasion...they were taken on a cell phone, though, so sorry if they are a bit grainy.

Dancingsloth and I were thrilled to meet Green and RobinYyes! Green is a friendly, fun and interesting guy and Robin has a cheery personality and a smile that lights up a room. It was just great to meet folks with similar outlooks who live nearby. I could have talked to them all night.

Hopefully the next time we do this, a few more of our SoCal members will join us! :)

I'm glad you all did though. It's great to see this happening in So Cal.

Had a really interesting conversation with a co-worker this morning. She told me her significant other has suddenly had an awakening and wants to plant a garden, stock up on food and water and get a gun.

The sheeeeeeeeep are waking up!

On TB every waking moment
Looks like all had a fun time, I do some thing very similar with a ridding club I belong to and get to meet a lot of people from all over the country. We joke about it that its a eating club with a ridding disorder.

Wow, nice to see everyone! Glad you guys had fun.. It would have been a bit of a trip for me.. lol but any time you guys want to hold a huge tb2k meet up out here in Pahrump just let me know. Lord knows the wife and I have the room for it. We could even have some kind of bug out drill where everyone bugs out to here and we camp out or just an informal hang out in the house and have a BBQ.

We have cheap hotels in town and you are always welcome to stay here as well in the guest bedroom.

Good time for more networking people!

What a coincidence--I've also met only one person from TB2K, and I really like her, too! ;)

Ahhh, that was so great that you folks got to meet eachother. I'm looking forward to joining one of the MAGs and meeting some like-minded folks as well.
