Upcoming Gun & Knife Shows by State

there is another thread on Main that is talking about guns and where to get them. I found this link and thought I would share:

http://www.gunshows-usa.com/october_2008.htm

You can click on your state and then pick a month (or vice versa) This link is for October.

cool thing is there is one in about two weeks here..Yahoo! but I don't know if I am brave enough to try and buy and AK15 like you all recommend.

A AK-15?
AR-15 are great and even an AR-47(Takes AK mags) is good or the old stand by ak-47, is the AK-15 something new on the market?

Go with the AR-15 IMHO its the best platform.

Ummmm....AK-15??? That could be interesting!

Seriously though, which one did you mean? AR-15 or AK-47?

And, I wouldn't hesitate to get either one right NOW because 40 days from now, you might be able to grab one if Odumma accidentally gets into office.

If I can help you in picking one, I'll be glad to help.

yeah, um, its one of those new hybrid thingamabobs...

seriously, I meant to refer to the AR-15....seems to be the one everyone had such good things to say about.

any help in choosing the right one would be much appreciated. I currently have a 12 gauge shotgun, and a small .38. The shotgun knocked me on my butt when I first started with it...the recoil killed me...had shoulder bruises for a while.

I am a 5'2, small boned female but reasonably strong and plenty of padding on the caboose if I need to do recoil training again.

TIA

Actually I have seen a gun magazine that had a article about a ar platform that was taking ak mag chambered in 7.62x39. It was a idea for troops in iraq so they could use the caputured ammo and mag that are just lying around. But this was a few years ago.

But you are right that would make a awesome combo.

Thanks for the reminder. Looks like our big show isn't until the end of November. But its a good time to rally friends together and plan the trip. Its only 8 weeks.
