Like I said, you have to use your own judgment.

I'm pro-creation, so I am careful about how I expose my children to evolution. For example, if we are watching the Science Channel (which my kids love!), we discuss creation vs. evolution when it comes up. They understand that evolution is a theory that has yet to be proven, but is accepted as fact, and is almost a religion in itself by requiring more faith to believe than creationism does.

lafrteacher -- THANKS !! What a great collection of resources -- thanks for the hard work in collecting the list. I'm bookmarking it for years to come.

When people ask me what it costs to homeschool, I always say you can purchase curricula at all price ranges, but you can also homeschool for free if you dedicate the time to pulling the grade/age appropriate and academically-rounded resources together. I should print out your post to hand out during such conversations.

I can't take credit for the list, but I'll pass your thanks on to the person that compiled it. She's like me, just wants to help even though resources are limited.

Wow! What a list!

Thank you for sharing that :-)
I've been home educating for 17 years and I'm still looking for resources!
What a blessing you have shared...may you in turn be blessed!
