ESFP adrift in INTJ sea
Yes this is shameless and is a plea/request.

And since I have no clue who all lurks here I figgered that it was worth a try. Contact info is in the quoted letter below.

If you live in Northern Ohio, are either a ham or medically trained, we have a need on August 16 and 17.

RELIC and I are already comitted.

We are still looking for volunteers
for the BIKE MS PEDAL TO THE POINT on August 16th & 17th. I am beginning to get worried that we will not be able to provide adaqute coverage for the weekend. We need people for every position.

This is a large event which has about 2000 cyclist riding from Berea to Sandusky on the 16th and back to Berea on the 17th.
We are looking for medical and ham radio volunteers.
In the past we have had as many as 45 medical volunteers and 70 ham radio volunteers.

If you'd like to come out and help, please contact me at 440-897-8122 or via e-mail to tpowell@neomrc.org. You can also visit the recruitment web page at http://p2p.neomrc.org and fill out the form at the bottom.

Additional information below the signature line.

Thank you for your support.

Thank you for your consideration.

If medical, the protocols are EMT-B level, though we'll find a way to cover RN/LPN/PA/SA/MSN/DO/MD/etc etc etc...

If I have overstepped, feel free to lock or delete.....but this is both a fun and grinding event and without enough folks it could get VERY "interesting". Last year we actually ended up runing a shelter for several hours, blankets and all...

A worthy bump, and if I lived around there, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Always loved doing event aid. Chuck, got any EMT-I or P students around there you could round up for duty?
