Gospel singer Dottie Joyce Rambo dies
Sweet Dottie Rambo went to be with the Lord today. I was blessed by her ministry in the 70s while serving in Germany. The Rambos and the Gaithers helped to transform Christian praise music. Maranatha, Andre Crouch, Phil Keaggy, Larry Norman, Dallas Holm, Second Chapter of Acts, and many others followed in their footsteps. If you've ever worshiped to "We Shall Behold Him," sung by Sandi Patty, that was a Dottie song. Just had to give a heads up to a wonderful woman of God who has served Him in song lo these many years.
