"Top 10 fried food places" on the Travel Channel

I was kinda shocked to flip by it yesterday. They had the standard chicken fried steak, chicken, and all that you would expect. But now I must interject the heart stopping...... Chicken Fried Bacon? Fat on Fat? Are we really coming to this as a nation? Also had Fried pickles which I will admit atleast sounded somewhat appealing. Anyone else see this? I didn't catch it all.

And if you have something you fry that is out of the norm, please list it. I know its not the best way to cook food, but it is the easiest.

I have not seen this show; but I am the cook at a little place in Michigan that has been on the Food Network and we fry everything. Twinkies ,Oreos,Nutter Butters, Chicken, Fish etc.. We are famous for our Gizzards and our TrippleD Burger, that is a whole burger, bun and all deep fried. we do have reg. items on our menu but we are known for our deep fried stuff.
I do need to tell you when you work in a place like that you need to watch what you eat or you gain unforgivable pounds.

How about fried snickers, or twinkies??

Fried pickles are da bomb baby. Several places here carry the fried pickles. We always end up having to order two big basket fulls of them. And lets' not forget fried ice cream.
