I've never seen a pattern of EQ's like this through Nevada and hooking northward. Any EQ experts here? Is this noraml?

Well, the Alaskan one certainly looks normal. We have a lot of little ones up here that nobody feels unless they're right on top of them. I'm always amazed everytime I look at the maps to see how many there are. Most of which I never felt or even heard about.

Having been through the big one, I guess I don't pay that much attention unless it goes longer than a few seconds. Not to say that I want to do that again!

I've noticed the increase in activity in Nevada and am just a puzzled too. It looks like California might dis-engage itself along the CA/Nv border if a big quake takes place along that area. Boy, I'd hate to see California become a floating island! Yikes. The middle would fill with water and you'd see only small islands above water. Now that's gotta make anyone who is in California sleep well at night.
