Friday Funny...Riding Lawnmower and Police Officer (hilarity ensues)

I knew a guy once that took his boss's back-hoe to see his girl friend over the weekend. 190 miles one-way. Actually he did it twice. On interstate 40, with a suspended drivers license. Don't know if he was drinking but knowing him he probably was.

You know the cops were having a laugh over this one...

Seriously, though, I'm d@mned glad he didn't run over some pet or kid while wandering down the road on that thing!

And, in closing, let me just say:

Any creature that gets run over by a riding lawn mower is dumber than Steve, and Darwin would prevail.

For the record, George Jones (the country music legend) pulled this stunt several years back, wth similar results. Was going to the liquor store, if I recall correctly.

Molon Labe!
That looked like fun.

I should change careers.

1. Public intoxication.

2. Driving on a roadway while intoxicated.

3. Littering the roadway.

4. Indecent exposure.

5. Failure to follow lawful commands of a peace officer.

6. Resisting arrest.

That feller was having a good day until LEO showed up! :chg:

That was wrong on so many levels!

While the fool was beyond stupidly drunk.

There was no reason for him to be maced.
Failing to obey an officer while urinating off the front of your lawn mower is not a valid reason to be maced! It just ain't, and that is the difference between being a police office and a peace officer is about. Knowing when to be mean and when to fair.

Being that drunk, you can't process more than one thought at a time, and the Little brain was doing the thinking -- It needed relief!

I have heard more than one police officer relate stories of being literally p*ssed on by detainees under various circumstances. With the guy standing up on the mower a foot or two ABOVE the police officer, my bet is that officer was primarily concerned that the guy might turn around and give him a faceful if he allowed him to continue.

okay..I confess..this thing is so funny I've gone back and watched it about 4 times today. The new catch phrase with my teens today is "Is it illegal to cut grass?!"

I have to admit, that was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. I really hate that it was cut short. Just think of all the things that might have come out of Steve's mouth!
