Yes . If he makes a significant showing but fails to take top position I feel that the majority vote getter must swing some of his political position towards Paul's or suffer the consequences.

Best Regards,
GGK

I'm of a similar view, GGK. If he gets a significant following, the leaders will have to be the chameleons they are, and change.

Since Florida doesn't have open primaries I have to change my party affiliation but Yes I will vote for Ron Paul. There is no other choice without having to vote for the lesser of 2 evils.

A vote for Paul is consent to be governed by the eventual winner who will not be Paul. Anyone who wants to put their money where their mouth is and lay bets on Paul actually becoming the President, I will gladly take your money.

There is no hope for our election process until the last republican hangs from the entrails of the last democrat. The people who can't comprehend this are the very same witless voting rubes that the globalists count on to legally sanction their generationally entrenched liquidation of the U.S. via this election scam.

Why is the U.S. a nation in decline? Because Partisans can be counted on to CONSENT to it. And more and more Americans are counting on getting their paychecks from Uncle Scams massive entitlement mentality in which most Americans now think they are "owed" something. Some idiots even think we are a capitalist nation yet, often one's who themselves are subsidized by taxpayers.

From perception management schemes like patriotism, to the WOT, to the election and "choices" it's all a SWINDLE people, wake the f**k up.

At the risk of drifting this thread (poll is more important than the thread to me anyway)....wake up and do what exactly?

By simply coming to grips individually with the understanding that most problems come from the democrat/republican party, that they are problem perpetuators who do not represent the American people or the best interests of the nation, and that they are in no form, shape or fashion any type of solution or answer.

Pauls dirty just by being a republican.

Every election it just gets worse and worse, yet people have been conditioned to feel they "must" do something.

Congress Denounces Iranian President Sep 25 06:47 PM US/Eastern
By ANNE FLAHERTY
Associated Press Writer

WASHINGTON (AP) - Congress signaled its disapproval of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with a vote Tuesday to tighten sanctions against his government and a call to designate his Revolutionary Guard a terrorist group.

The swift rebuke was a rare display of bipartisan cooperation in a Congress bitterly divided on the Iraq war. It reflected lawmakers' long-standing nervousness about Tehran's intentions in the region, particularly toward Israel—a sentiment fueled by the pro-Israeli lobby whose influence reaches across party lines in Congress.

"Iran faces a choice between a very big carrot and a very sharp stick," said Rep. Tom Lantos, chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. "It is my hope that they will take the carrot. But today, we are putting the stick in place."

The House passed, by a 397-16 vote, a proposal by Lantos, D-Calif., aimed at blocking foreign investment in Iran, in particular its lucrative energy sector. The bill would specifically bar the president from waiving U.S. sanctions.

Current law imposes sanctions against any foreign company that invests $20 million or more in Iran's energy industry, although the U.S. has waived or ignored sanction laws in exchange for European support on nonproliferation issues.

In the Senate, Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn., and Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., proposed a nonbinding resolution urging the State Department to label Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps a terrorist organization.

Kyl and Lieberman said the proposal does not authorize military force again Iran, but encourages the U.S. to cut off its financial support.

The Bush administration had already been considering whether to blacklist a unit within the Revolutionary Guard, subjecting part of the vast military operation to financial sanctions.

The legislative push came a day after Ahmadinejad defended Holocaust revisionists, questioned who carried out the Sept. 11 attacks and declared homosexuals didn't exist in Iran in a tense question-and- answer session at Columbia University.

The Iranian president was to speak Tuesday at the U.N. General Assembly.

Lantos' bill was expected to draw criticism from U.S. allies in Europe. During a visit to Washington last week, French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner told lawmakers that France opposes any U.S. legislation that would target European countries operating in Iran. He argued that such sanctions could undermine cooperation on dealing with Iran.

Still, what would you advocate the normal populace do?

Anarchy may be right around the corner, but we at least have a candidate that is radically different than any before. He's of a totally different stripe, only belonging to the Republican party to at least get an audience. Perhaps one last chance...

To advocate doing nothing is simply permission for TPTB to conduct business as usual.

Well, I guess I will have to wait and see if he is still running by the time my state (Illinois) has the primary. Historically, everyone I really wanted to vote for has dropped out by Illinois primary time. Then I usually don't vote because I don't care!

Pauls dirty just by being a republican.

This is in fact true from the purist libertarian sense, or from the agorist or anarcho-capitalist (anti-collectivist) point of view. But...I think it is far more important that the message BE HEARD which it wouldn't from a third party. In this case the ends justify the means. Actually, if the repubs want to win they need to nominate Paul as his plank is the only repub one that could win the general election...that is if his message gets out to the mainstream.

No it isn't. To keep supporting the dem/repub party and surrendering to their election scheme of individual dis-empowerment is to continue to AID AND ABET the demise and liquidation of the nation.

If you can't fix a problem, at least quit contributing to making the problem worse.

The real message is that the election process controlled by the dems/repubs and their handlers is a giant scam. Paul is a good player to give the illusion of "choice" but regardless of whom they vote for, Americans and the nation will not be represented in the halls of power stolen from "we the people" by the treasonous scoundrels in the democrat/republican party.

We'll see if Paul is willing to give that message after he's been "Ross Perot'd".

Who cares which of the drones is at the helm if Paul loses? The rest are merely front men for a clique.
Because by participating in the election process you grant individual consent to be governed by these front men, and legitimize their theft of the election process and the nation they have been liquidating for 50+ years of elections.

Pauls just the latest voting rube candidate to give the swindled their much needed illusion of choice.

As long as we keep throwing the same bums back in instead of out, we are going to get the same results. A return to the Constitution is our only hope.

Voting for Ron Paul, win or lose, will register our disapproval of the current mess we find ourselves in and of the ones who put us there.

The Democrat party has long since been taken over by the Socialists. The Republican party more recently by the Facists. Ron Paul is nominally running on the Republican ticket, but they hate him as much as the Democrats do, possibly more so.

This could wind up costing Ron Paul his life considering how dissenting politicians have been dealt with in the past.

We are not dealing with our father's and grandfather's political parties. These are ruthless and determined idealogues and gangsters.

I've been saying for some time that the election process is all a "reality TV game show sham". The Paul campaign is revealing the raw white underbelly of the passive techniques the statists use to "keep down" the message, how the media is ignoring or misrepresenting Paul. This will continue to be revealed even more as the methods become more "active". Once Ron Paul is "Ross Perot'd" methinks the whole dynamic of the game changes but doesn't go away.

Oh well...we still have Gore waiting in the wings with his newly won PP!

So...whats next?? Enjoyed your post.

The scoundrels already have the nation, quit helping to prop them up and let nature take its course while trying to insulate yourself from the madness we read about on these pages everyday.

Don't vote for people, but do vote against ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that gives government more money or control - be it schools, police, military, welfare etc, - as they seek even more consent, even though they will eventually find the means to overturn the will of the people anyways.

Just because there's a rape going on doesn't means you have to participate.

I plan to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries...and if he doesn't take the nomination, I sincerely hope he runs as an independent! I think it's despicable how the media is marginalizing this guy. He's the only one up there telling the American people the truth, and he deserves our support...both financial AND in the voting booth.

I really do enjoy watching the political pundits squirm when they talk about how popular Ron Paul has become...it makes their job of brainwashing the American people, quite difficult indeed!

I say good...

I went back and realized that I haven't yet put my money where my mouth is...so, to rectify that I just donated $30 to Ron Paul's campaign, via Paypal. Here's the link, if any of you feel like doing the same: https://www.ronpaul2008.com/donate/

Warrior King;

Although I don't agree with you 100%, your so damn close to it, it takes all the fun out of it.

At least some folks have got these bastards figured out, and your one of them.

AND most of these guys are lawyers and judges.

About 3 weeks ago, a judge let this boob out on a 25K bail. (attempted murder, or murder. I forget) Within a few days the Maine State Police had to clean up this moron's mess, and soot him dead. In Rumford, Maine.

Same county court, I don't know about the judge, but yesterday, another drugged out nit-wit was holed up in his mother's house for over 12 hours.
He was the AH, that made national headlines when he jumped from the 3rd floor of the County Court House. A news camera journalist subdued him and he was taken back into custody.

Yup. Released with out bail.

The cost to the taxpayers is not tabulated as yet, but the Oxford County Sheriff's department, Mexico, Dixfied, and Rumford police Plus the Maine State Police were on hand during the whole time during the stand off.

Point is...the same mind set enjoyed by this judge, runs the state house, and the halls of congress in Washington, DC.

What the hell chance does the common man stand in the face of all this insanity?

Your words, Warrior King, and exactly the reason we need to vote for Ron Paul.

Well, I like it.

I think it suits him, Kris, don't you?

That was a compliment, BTW, Worrier/Warrior King.

When we examine the process of electing nitwits and further realize the fools we have elected....Carter the Crazy, Bush #1 the Visionless and Clinton the "I could", one doesn't need to fear Ron Paul. Anything not good can be undone MUCHO simpler than any of the other candidates' missteps. The process is daft, crazy and insane. Let's not worry about getting a Prez that is "TOO Constitutional"! DUDE!! The "damage" can be undone! DUH!

Josey

Ron Paul is a total goof ball. Then again so are all the others running.

Yeah... Being constitutionally correct is pretty "goofy" in this day and age. Freedom is for conspiratorial wingnuts and whackjobs.

We should all just shut up and face forward. Give unto Caesar all that he demands. Turn a blind eye to the politicians that are raping our nation... Pour more blood and money into a foreign cesspool that is, realistically, no threat to us.

Yeah-

Before you know it Goof Ball Ron Paul will be spouting things like:

"all men are created equal..."

or

"We the people of the united States, in order to form a more perfect Union....."

He might even say that people ought to be the sole owners of their own property or that the US should print its own money, or the Dept. of Education ought to be done away with, or that we should not be involved in illegal wars, or that the UN should take a hike.

What a nut job.

ender...

did you watch him in the debate the other night??..

thats exactly how he comes across...

He is never allowed to debate, buff.

He is cut off, ignored, laughed at- you name it.

Go to youtube and watch him.

Easy to blow off the founding documents when most involved with a wink & a nod are busily lining their own pockets, surfing Web porn, or popping yet another beer in front of the TV. Ignorance of what is *necessary* for a Republic with freedom & liberty and keeping it that way is what has destroyed it over the last 100 years. We have no guidelines anymore either morally, ethically, or especially legally - we've thrown them away with a million excuses as to why is was convenient to do it.

The idea of a constitutionally operated government scares the cream colored crap out of TPTB. It would mean that half of them would be instantly unemployed and the other half in prison except those that were hung for treason

I understand where this particular disagreement comes from.

RP is pissed off by the status quo.

I am also pissed off at the status quo so he sounds perfectly sane to me, if maybe a bit rough standing next to a bunch of accomplished liars.

If you're NOT pissed off by the status quo I'm sure he sounds like a nut.

It's a blue pill/red pill thing, or nutty/ballsy to be more accurate.

BTW, what I saw in that debate was Ron handing Mitt his ass on the Iran authorization issue, so I guess it depends on what your preconceptions are.

Ron Paul is the best of the bunch, by a very long shot.

I've voted for him before, as he's been my Congressman down here in Texas, and eagerly look forward to voting for him in the Presidential primaries here, too.

Do I think he'll get elected and serve out his term, no, probably not, as something would happen to him before TPTB would ever let him dethrone them and their beloved Federal Reserve, IRS, and all their other NWO aspirations, etc.

So, why support him?

Simple, every day his message gets out now more and more people are waking up to the debasement of our currency and un-Constitutional erosions of our freedoms.

That's enough of a reason for me to support that messenger vigorously for as long as his star burns brightly illuminating the masses.

We'll have a much better chance of taking back this country later then with millions more of additional Constitutional aware fellow citizens.
