He was going to NooYawkCitay to join in some of the 9/11 memorials starting this weekend. There were not supposed to be any "permits" issued by TPTB for parades, demonstrations, filming/photographing etc and there were supposedly not going to be even tee shirts with slogans allowed.

So an arrest sounds plausible to me...

Per one of his web-sites, it looks like he was arrested in NYC at a 9/11 summit. I'm guessing this is a typical plain-vanilla "spend a night in jail" thing with some NY cop(s) arresting him for bull-horning. Again, though, that is only a guess.

I got arrested once...a cop rear ended my car giving chase as I was sitting at a red light...he was chasing after me. So they arrested me for wreckless driving. Go figure.

Just goes to show you; a person can get arrested for just about anything these days.

So, who's Alex Jones?

These words should simply "blow the minds" of any American who remembers our hard won ( now all but suspended ) Constitution ...

It does boggle the mind that this is what we face.

i view alex with a bit of healthy skepticism as anyone should, but i will tell you that more often than not the man is right on,
i also view him as the ultimate canary in a coal mine if he ever comes up suicided or dead or missing that will head me for the hills,

al quada killed a very important figure in the northern alliance in afghanistan the day before september 11th, though his name escapes me at the moment, so someone like alex going down before the next big attack wouldn't surprise me

For all the people here who snicker- i wonder if any of you have the courage and conviction of beliefs that Alex Jones has ?
the guy was offered one million a year to change - he didnt take it-i suspect he would be offered a whole lot more now- and he still wouldnt take it-

Warren, since nobody answered "who is Alex Jones?" I'll do my best from what I've observed. I did recognize the name and I believe he is a conspiracy theorist who runs a website and blog that most of the supporters of Ron Paul for President frequent. There may be some link between Alex Jones and Ron Paul.

Don't listen to him, but on very random occasions, but

the "link between Alex Jones and Ron Paul"

is that they both are for HONEST GOVERNMENT, SMALLER GOVERNMENT and non-Marxist/Facist rules/rulers, such as we have today.

They both, also have a distaste for Globalists ditacting our past, present and future.

Watched the repeat of Geraldo, what a bizzare show.

There was an interview with the Hooters girl — and was wearing
"the dress" she was kind, not ditzy and with the 9/11 truthers chanting in background,
with signs—over the chants (Geraldo had to yell), she's asked, you've been to NYC twice, will you come back...and she said that she might come back in two years or so when things settle down.
