Dr. Corsi has sure popped up to the forefront here in the last couple of days. He was interviewed on TruNews a couple of days ago, on Coast to Coast last night and is supposed to be on "the one who cannot be mentioned" 's radio show tonight.
All this attention, in such a very short time span, makes me go hmmmmm.

The new International Partnership on Avian and Pandemic Influenza was designed to supersede an earlier November 2005 Homeland Security report that called for a U.S. national strategy that would be coordinated by the Departments of Homeland Security, Health and Agriculture.

NORTHCOM and other governmental websites document the growing role the Bush administration plans for the U.S. military to be involved in continental domestic emergencies involving health, including avian flu and pandemic influenza.
NORTHCOM participated in a nationwide Joint Chiefs of Staff-directed exercise – code-named Exercise Ardent Sentry 06 – to rehearse cooperation between Department of Defense and local, state and federal agencies, as well as the Canadian government.
A pandemic influenza crisis was one of the four scenarios gamed in Exercise Ardent Sentry 06, involving a scenario of a plague in Mexico reaching across the border into Arizona and New Mexico.
As has been customary in SPP documents and declarations, the Montebello, Canada, announcement of the North American Plan for Avian & Pandemic Influenza acknowledges in passing the sovereignty of the three nations.
The announcement says, "The Plan is not intended to replace existing arrangements or agreements. As such, each country's laws are to be respected and this Plan is to be subordinate and complementary to domestic response plans, existing arrangements and bilateral or multilateral agreements."

Through community “partnerships,” we are now all linked together in the sharing of clients, client information/data, and by governmental program controllers. This new “local” economic system was created and mandated by the United Nations’ blueprint for corporate control of “local” money in Agenda 21. Agenda 21 demanded that all member nations of the U.N. implant the partnership/NGO system of commerce. This system of business finance interconnects individual businesses in EVERY American city, village, and burg. In essence, if you don’t “partner” with other businesses in your communities, your business is doomed to fail. Why? The reason is quite simple. If you operate as an “individual” or privately owned business, you are unresponsive to the United Nations’ demand for economic compliancy AND your business is not controlled by a governmental entity. ALL partnerships are based upon grant funding. ALL grant funding is tied to government money. And all government money, provided in the form of grants, comes with social agendas tied to the United Nations Agenda 21. Agenda 21 is the global and transformational rulebook for commoners living under global authority.

Childcare centers, retail stores, restaurants – you name it; all are partnering together in order to obtain grant money to stay alive as businesses in today’s world of international superstore monopolies. But in return for partnering and grant money, they, too, must “report” their client data to their grantors. As such, everything that we do becomes available information to government. That means every single financial transaction, every purchase, every ounce of gasoline, natural gas, electrical, and water; legal records, etc., becomes delivered “data” to the government. Now, this system of business has been going on in earnest for about 25 years, but in the last decade, we have lost total privacy in our lives. And today, even our DNA is required to be stored.
We are all familiar with what are known as “pyramid schemes.” In today’s world of the partnership business bureaucracy and model, the American people have become victims of data mining by our community partners. In return for grant dollars, our community businesses – the ones who have historically provided our local goods and services – now serve to destroy the constitutional laws of our nation in order that our “government” can, as the United Nations commands, dismantle our constitutional government and all subsequent rights of the American people. All your goods and services are now provided to you at the total expense of your constitutional freedom and, as such, your purchasing also serves to grade your personal compliance to the world’s new government.
And though I sound like a broken record, the immediate mission of the world’s new government, which exists and IS operational in the united States is, first and foremost, to reduce our nation’s population. Global population reduction – in massive and genocidal numbers – has been the primary and initial goal of world government implementation. Now, people, this new government HAS been raised. Probably about the only flaw in the constitution is how somehow with sleight of hand the treaty making power can supercede constitutional boundaries. I'm not a lawyer so I don't fully understand it myself but that little "oops" has opened the door to perdition in this nation.

An international conference of 400 experts in Verona, Italy concurred that there is no sign yet that the deadly H5N1 strain of the avian flu virus has mutated to allow person-to-person infection.
H5N1 has killed scores of people worldwide, and has been found in 11 countries this year, but almost all the people who have come down with the virus have been shown to have been infected through contact with domestic birds.
It was also noted at the conference that the H5N1 virus has been found in only a few birds in Italy itself, even though the country is a major migration route for birds traveling from Africa to Europe

It's been nearly a year since I asked rhetorically, whatever happened to the bird flu epidemic that never came? And, we're still waiting.
President Bush warned that in the United States alone anywhere from 200,000 (at best!) to 2 million people at worst would die from the bird flu. How do they make the giant leap of faith that the very few deaths so far worldwide will translate to 2 million or even 200,000 deaths from a virus that does NOT readily spread from birds to humans, or humans to humans?
To this date the has not been one single person who has caught this from another human. Virtually every reported case was in a third-world country in which those who were infected had close contact with sick birds.
And why were these birds sick? Not because of some terrible lethal virus. Quite the contrary my friends. It was largely because they were raised under factory-farming conditions that, combined with the terrible food they were given, weakened their immune systems and allowed them to come down with this deadly infection.
Interestingly, this is very similar to the way that many humans actually get sick. The take-home message here, folks, is that it is in no way, shape or form the virus that is the cause of the infection, it is the weakened immune system that results from following or choosing an unhealthy lifestyle.
But the drug companies and secondarily the governments they control will rarely miss an opportunity to use these scare tactics.
Even though the experts at the Italian conference knew this, that fact didn't stop them from discussing ways to prevent the avian flu from spreading, namely by using vaccines nobody needs that don't work anyway. They also conveniently forgot that even vaccinating poultry wasn't a foolproof solution either.
All of which neatly points to the reason for the scare tactics -- kickbacks to drug companies. Their drugs may be useless, but the massive windfall from government contracts to help "prepare" against avian flu has helped their bottom lines nicely, not to mention the profits of their allies in the government.

In a blow to the federal plan to fight bird flu, at least six U.S. states are planning to buy fewer antiviral drugs than they have been offered by the federal government, and at least 16 more are undecided as to how much Tamiflu and Relenza they will buy.
Questions About Cost and Effectiveness
The proposed plan was that the federal government buy 44 million of an estimated 75 million doses of Tamiflu and Relenza, with states buying the balance. But many states are concerned about both the cost and effectiveness of the drugs.
Arizona only plans to buy an eighth of its allotment, so as not to drain funds needed to prepare hospitals. Colorado plans to only buy 5,400 courses out of the more than 477,000 it has been offered, until there is more evidence that the drugs will actually work against bird flu.
Flu Shots Ineffective for the Elderly
In related news, two new studies have shown that flu shots provide at most modest protection against the flu for those over 65. A review of 71 previous studies found that flu shots prevent just 25 percent of flu-like illnesses, hospital admissions and flu-related deaths among the elderly. Among elderly people living in nursing homes and long-term care facilities, the vaccines prevented 45 percent of these conditions.
A second review also found that flu shots given to staff at nursing homes do not decrease cases of flu or lower respiratory tract infections among the patients.
Other Reasons for the Statistics
Statistics show that those who receive a flu shot are among the least likely to die from any cause in a given year, but this could be a result of the fact that those who get flu shots are also more likely to have higher incomes and better health care to begin with. USA Today July 19, 2006
