Russian "evil forces" accused of ex-spy's death

I was in email contact with Alex until about this time last year when he went into hiding for fear of his life:

http://thefinalphaseforum.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=660&st=0

He exposed one of the most important truths....that Russia is behind al Qaeda and "Grey Terror" black operations against America including 9/11:

His loss is a great tragedy for the cause of truth and human freedom in this ill-fated world. I believe Alexander Litvinenko is the first major martyr in the third world war with Russia that is already underway.

Russian "evil forces" accused of ex-spy's death

LONDON, Nov 24 (Reuters) - Friends of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko accused "evil forces" in Russia on Friday of being responsible for his death in London overnight, saying the poisoning of the ex-colonel was an act of revenge.

Russia said it was silly to suggest the Kremlin had orchestrated a plot against 43-year-old Litvinenko, a critic of Russian President Vladimir Putin. British doctors said Litvinenko had been poisoned but did not know the exact form.

His death on Thursday occurred on the eve of an EU-Russia summit in Helsinki at which Putin is now likely to face media questions about the former spy that could overshadow the main agenda of how the two sides can improve ties.

"He was fighting against the evil forces in Russia, against the KGB, against the authorities which are suppressing democracy and liberal freedoms in Russia," Oleg Gordievsky, a friend of Litvinenko, told Sky television.

"He became a victim of ... revenge and malice of those forces in Russia," said Gordievsky, also a former Russian agent who defected to Britain.

Litvinenko, who lost all his hair and suffered major organ failure, died in a London hospital's intensive care unit after being poisoned three weeks ago.

One doctor said the identity of the poison may never be known. Medical experts have ruled out earlier suggestions it was caused by a heavy metal such as thallium or by radiation.

British police said they were investigating what they called the "unexplained" death and that anti-terrorism officers were working on the case. Litvinenko spoke to police from his hospital bed before his condition deteriorated.

If Russia was found to have had a hand in the poisoning, there could be far-reaching diplomatic consequences. It would be the first such incident known to have taken place in the West since the Cold War.

"THE BASTARDS"

"The bastards got me. But they won't get everybody," Litvinenko told friend and filmmaker Andrei Nekrasov before losing consciousness earlier this week. The comments were published in Friday's Times newspaper.

Litvinenko, who fled to Britain in 2000 with his wife and son and was granted asylum, said he fell ill after meeting two Russians at a hotel.

He had been investigating the killing of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, also a critic of Putin, who was gunned down at her Moscow flat on Oct. 7.

A source in the Russian delegation with Putin in Helsinki told reporters: "It is a human tragedy. The man was poisoned.

"But the accusations towards the Kremlin are so unbelievable, they are too silly to be commented on by the president or anyone from the Russian side," said the source, asking not to be identified.

Litvinenko served in the KGB's counter-intelligence department and then the Federal Security Service's (FSB) highly secret organised crime group. The FSB is the main successor organisation to the Soviet KGB and deals with internal threats.

In 1998, he turned on his former comrades and said at a Moscow news conference -- with men in masks who claimed to be Russian secret service men -- that senior FSB officers had planned to murder Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky.

He was arrested several times by his former employers at the FSB but was freed by a court and charges were dropped.

Litvinenko, who became a British citizen on Oct. 1, co-wrote a 2002 book "Blowing up Russia: Terror from Within", in which he alleged FSB agents coordinated apartment block bombings in Russia that killed more than 300 people in 1999.

Russian officials blamed the bombings on Chechen guerrillas.

Statement dictated by ex-KGB spy before his death

LONDON (Reuters) - Ex-KGB spy Alexander Litvinenko accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of his murder from beyond the grave on Friday, in a statement read out the morning after he died of an unknown poison in a London hospital.

The Kremlin has denied a hand in poisoning Litvinenko, who fell ill three weeks ago after meeting another Russian ex-spy at a London hotel.

Litvinenko's friend Alexander Goldfarb said Litvinenko dictated the statement on November 21 and signed it in the presence of his wife. Following is a transcript of his statement, as read out by Goldfarb in front of the hospital where he died:

"I would like to thank many people. My doctors, nurses and hospital staff for doing all they can for me. The British police who are pursuing my case with vigour and professionalism and are watching over me and my family.

"I would like to thank the British government for taking me under their care. I am honoured to be a British citizen. I would like to thank the British public for their messages of support and for the interest they have shown in my plight.

"I thank my wife Marina, who has stood by me. My love for her and for our son knows no bounds.

"But as I lie here, I can distinctly hear the beatings of wings of the angel of death. I may be able to give him the slip, but I have to say my legs do not run as fast as I would like.

"I think, therefore, that this may be the time to say one or two things to the person responsible for my present illness.

"You may succeed in silencing me, but that silence comes at a price. You have shown yourself to be as barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed. You have shown yourself to have no respect for life, liberty or any civilised value. You have shown yourself to be unworthy of your office, to be unworthy of the trust of civilised men and women.

"You may succeed in silencing one man. But a howl of protest from around the world will reverberate, Mr Putin, in your ears for the rest of your life.

"May God forgive you for what you have done, not only to me, but to beloved Russia and its people."

Signed, Alexander Litvinenko.

Radioactive substance in ex-spy's body 13 minutes ago

LONDON - Former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko was poisoned by radiation, Britain's Health Protection Agency said Friday. Agency scientist Roger Cox said polonium-210 had been found in Litvinenko's urine. Earlier, Home Secretary John Reid said Litvinenko's death Thursday night was "linked to the presence of a radioactive substance in his body." Reid, the country's top law-and-order official, said experts were searching for "residual radioactive material" at a number of locations.

The former KGB agent dictated a statement in the waning hours of his life, blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin and describing him "as barbaric and ruthless as your most hostile critics have claimed." Putin said Friday there was no proof it was a "violent death."

Litvinenko, a former spy turned Kremlin critic, signed the statement in the presence of his wife before losing consciousness, said Alex Goldfarb, a friend who read it aloud outside the hospital Friday.

In his first public comment on Litvinenko's death, Putin said his passing was a tragedy and extended his condolences to his family.

But the Russian leader said British medical documents did not show "that it was a result of violence, this is not a violent death, so there is no ground for speculations of this kind."

"A death of a man is always a tragedy and I deplore this," Putin told reporters at a European summit in Helsinki, Finland.

Putin's government has strongly denied involvement in Litvinenko's death, calling the allegation "nothing but nonsense."

"It's so silly and unbelievable that it's not worth comment," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said in Helsinki.

"Now the case will be investigated by relevant British services and we hope that those who are standing behind this case will be brought to justice," he added.

Litvinenko died of heart failure after days in intensive care, London's University College Hospital said.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polonium

Polonium is a highly radioactive and toxic element and is dangerous to handle. Even in milligram or microgram amounts, handling polonium-210 is very dangerous and requires special equipment used with strict procedures. Direct damage occurs from energy absorption into tissues from alpha particles.

The maximum allowable body burden for ingested polonium is only 1100 becquerels (0.03 microcurie), which is equivalent to a particle weighing only 6.8 × 10-12 gram. Weight for weight polonium is approximately 2.5 × 1011 times as toxic as hydrocyanic acid. The maximum permissible concentration for airborne soluble polonium compounds is about 7,500 Bq/m3 (2 × 10-11 µCi/cm3).

Polonium-210 was indicated as a likely suspect material in the poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko.

Its unfourtunate that since the so called 'end of the cold war' our perceptions have been so well enginered by our 'friends' that most peope will buy this excuse without a second thought. Its remarkable that all they need do is say its 'silly'.

Could the end of the cold war have been a great deception. No thats just silly !

Not at all. The Russians saw the shortcomings of communism and they realized they needed access to CAPITAL and the global CREDIT SYSTEM. So they morphed into something more suitable for the World Bankers to deal with.

I'd also point out that with their invasion of Afghanistan, the Russians acted on the threat of radical Islam 25 years before the West even got a serious clue, with D.C. even going so far as to aid and abet the rise of modern Jihadism. For the Russians, that's a pretty large head start over the west in having a ability to broker back room deals to subvert the West.

All you really need to do is change a Supreme Soviet"Central Committee" into a "Board of Directors" and you've become much more economically palatable to those directing global investment funds.

So just how worried is Putin about what Litvinenko might have revealed? As mosques start to go up in flames in Iraq today, as the Civil War seems to be starting, it makes one wonder if Livenkos publicity was enough to accelerate Putins and plans?

Mr. Adams, I apologize for offending you regarding Comrade Litvinenko. I posted a quick, factual statement relating what I had heard on NBC this morning as I was leaving for work. I did not know the man and have no personal opinion regarding his character. Had I read more carefully before I posted, I would have realized that you had an e-mail relationship ongoing and that my statement would touch you personally.
You may recall your thread concerning obtaining a passport and leaving the country and some of the harsh responses you received on that thread. I too, had a strong opinion, but chose not to post my thoughts since I do not know you personally and so why would you care what my opinion was.

Rick

I mean, the guy had to have sent copies of his proof all over right? I say strike now while the outrage from his death is burning hot. In 6 months, people may not even recall his death. (nothing personal meant by that.. its just human nature to move on to the next horrible thing)

I want this AQ connection to come out asap!!

How can Russia think the world wont notice 2 people who were trying to expose them being killed within months of each other? Putin's a weasly bastard!

And I agree, sorry that sentance was meant somewhat sarcasticly. Its sums up what most people round here would say if you tried to explain to them that perhaps the cold war ending was a deception and rather then being in less danger from russia then before - we are actualy now in more danger then we have ever been before. The deception has worked and the tables has been so skillfully turned.

I do think though that they dont see a shortcomming of communism, but rather they saw it more as a shortcomming of capitalism, a weakness they could exploit - making it more a strength of communism. And that this was being worked out decades before the apparent end of the cold war - aspects of it probarbly date back to the 1930's or before.

Having spent 9 of my 10 years of military service were spent under Cold War conditions. 30 months of that time was spent in West Germany where we were up close and sometimes personal in dealing with spies, fellow travelers and even neo-nazi types that seemed to dis-rmember that WW2 was over and they lost. we were warned constantly against infiltrators and spies and we occasionaly saw Russian officers in their militarycars driving near our area. they were restricted to certain roads and we wre supposed to ID them and turn in a report of any sightings.

One of our larger concerns was avoiding the agents of our own military who were constantly trying to catch a GI making a slip-up of some sort. I have uncovered more than one doing this. I wore some German clothing and had a local style haircut and carried an International Driving License. I have walked past MP checkpoints on the street while in company of a couple of buddies also in civillian clothing. The other two were stopped and asked to show an ID and a pass. I would walk over to a kiosk and read the movie adds and join mybuddies down th stret when tjheir ID check was over.

I have talked with people that escaped from Hungary and the DDR and found that they all had an abiding hatred for the Russians and local commie authorities. One former veteranarian that escaped from the DDR with his family was so angry I thought he might start afight with anyone that might even utter one word in Russian.

Anyone that thinks that the Soviet Union went away after the Berlin Wall was taken down, well there is a bridge in Nueva York on the East River for sale. When I was in the Philippines we had to be aware of the local commies and in Korea even more so since they had kidnapping contracts on certain GI's with certain job skills. In Korea I never felt really safe when out in public as we were just a few miles from the DMZ.

Several years ago while attending a lecture at Golden Gate University in SF I listened to a man whose name was Dr. Sahkarov iirc who had been a former KGB agent with a Diplomatic passport. He had been born in Italy and grew up speaking Italian before Russian because he had a local nanny. he learned german, Arabic and French and English and was eventually turned to the other side and came over while working in Egypt. After debriefing by the CIA he was sent to Moet Management School! we rely know how to deal with peoplecoming over from the other side.

Last I heard he was in business in the So Cal area and also has a CCW due to being wanted by the Russians. It was a pleasure to meet him and I wish him well and safety.

Try six days for most people, and that's assuming that perky Katie and her cohorts are even covering this story, which I don't know since I seldom watch them.

However since Mr. Litvinenko was a British citizen perhaps their legal system may at least care that he was brazenly murdered in such an in-your-face fashion.

I think Vladimir the Terrible coldly decided he needed to eliminate Litvinenko as well as Anna Politkovskaya because they had put their finger on a very inconvenient and embarassing truth--that the so-called uprising in Chechnya had been engineered by the Kremlin. Without that crisis, the naked power grab that Putin put in place in the ensuing years would have been seen by the Russian masses for what it was.

Also if this story continued to be told, a few Americans with influence might wake up from their slumber and realize what Russia has in store for us.

From outward appearances it would seem that the old Soviet Union has returned. A thing crucified, dead and buried has been resurrected. Four weeks after Vladimir Putin’s re-election, a procession led by the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church arrived at the Church of Christ the Redeemer in Moscow. In keeping with ancient tradition the doors of the church were shut, symbolizing the sealed cave where Christ’s body was placed following crucifixion. “After midnight,” noted Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya, “the Orthodox faithful taking part in the procession await the opening of the church doors. The patriarch stands on the steps at their head and is the first to enter the empty temple where the Resurrection of Christ has already occurred.” In due course the Patriarch offered up a prayer, the doors of the Church of Christ the Redeemer were opened and out stepped President Vladimir Putin. If any Christians were present for this ceremony they offered no protest to this blatant sacrilege. The woman who reported this event for the benefit of Western readers has since been assassinated. The KGB defector who was investigating the circumstances of her death has been poisoned (i.e., Litvinenko). The West thinks it an amusing spy story, something out of fiction. But the situation is hardly amusing. As Russian dissident Yuri Yarim-Agaev recently explained to Jamie Glazov of Frontpagemag.com, “That in foreign policy, the U.S. remains for them [Russia] enemy number one, and that they would support anyone who tries to undermine American power whether it be North Korea, Iran, you name it. That in domestic policy they consider their major enemies democracy, human rights, and the free market, and they will try to suppress them by all means, and the bring back under their control most parts of the former Soviet Union.”

Russia is a big player, despite what we’ve been told about “the fall of communism.” The Kremlin now acts boldly, in the open, so that every Russian understands. It is a case of terrorism. It is a case of instilling fear. Writers are being killed, and now intelligence defectors have been targeted. Decisive cards are being played, and the international press, the public and many politicians are clueless.

The Truth

The president said he doubted the veracity of the deathbed note, saying he found it strange that it was only published after Litvinenko's death. The president suggested its authors, unable to save Litvinenko, resorted to the trick to keep the story going.

"Those who did it [concocted the note] are not God, and Mr. Litvinenko is unfortunately not Lazarus," Putin said, referring to a Biblical character raised from the dead by Jesus.

- V. Putin

The above quote is taken from - http://en.rian.ru/russia/20061124/55967399.html

Now consider this is relation to the point noted above by JR Nyquist:

I will reiterate my primary thesis here. The antichrist is in Russia....not in some symbolic sense....but quite literally. Whether I like it or not, God placed me here to reveal the reality of our situation and mount the opposition.

Satan is seeking to establish his kingdom on earth. First, through the greatest act of mass deception in human history in the form of the feigned collapse of the Soviet empire and seeming pro-Western conversion of Russia. Next, with the greatest act of mass murder in human history in the form of a nuclear third world war that will annihilate America and crush our allies. And then finally by establishing a world totalitarian dictatorship under the guise of a bogus kingdom of god that will en'slav' the human race.

Our only chance is for all to recognize what is truly happening and then give the Devil his due.

My vision is about to unfold. Soon the world will witness the beginning of an all-out war in the Middle East....the trigger point for Armageddon and the Apocalypse. Moscow is brazenly silencing critics and making clear the price to be paid by insiders that defect because the Kremlin realizes the gloves are about to come off.

Alas....no one cares for the truth. Sasha died senselessly in a senseless world that deserves what it gets. There is no hope for such a conceited, mindless society. There is no hope for those who empower the devil through their high-minded, self-serving acquiescence. This is a world that shall inherit the wind to the devil's delight...
