Well, once again there has been a concerted attempt to take over TB with anti-Jew hate-speach. Those of you who've been around here long enough certainly remember Patrick and Readalot, and their continuous, ongoing campaign against the "eeevil Jews". Ultimately it cost them their memberships on TB.
I feel it has now become necessary to once again post a specific policy regarding Jew-hate threads on TB. While I understand and accept that there will be occasional Jew-hate threads, they will not be tolerated on an ONGOING basis. Those members engaging in posting such material will ultimately be shown the door. We are not at war with the nation of Israel; that country is our ally.
EDIT: Discussion of the various activies of the state of Israel WRT its prosecution of the war, as well as its governmental policies toward Muslims are FAIR GAME for discussion.
There are many, MANY anti-Jew fora out there on the web. You are cordially invited to join one or more of them at your earliest possible convenience.
This policy has been stated in times past, so it's not "new". There is NO ROOM FOR DISCUSSION on this issue. If you're one of those "The evil Zionists are going to take over the world if we don't stop them" types, please leave TB now of your own volition.
Again, there will be no debate on this policy; either you decide to follow it, or you decide to leave.
EDIT2: We understand that because of the current world-wide war with Islamofascists, tempers are short WRT to them and their activities. Because of that, some people call for the total extermination of all Muslims. But it's the consensus of the staff that calling for genocide of ANY entire group is hate-speech. Because that's the case, we want to make it clear that when speaking of "wiping them all out", that must be limited to Islamofascists rather than every Muslim on Earth. (That is in fact what Hitler was saying regarding the Jews.)
In that vein, we cannot allow further calls to "kill them all" which refer to all Muslims. Such posts will be removed and sanctions imposed on those members.
How you, personally, choose to define exactly WHO are the Islamofascists is entirely at your discretion. But please DO NOT call for the destruction of all Muslims when posting on the board. Please limit those calls to Islamofascists and/or radical jihadists.

What will NOT be tolerated is dragging Zionism/Judaism/"chosen people" type of stuff into an Israel debate. The issue is with a secular state vs its hostile neighbors. Is Israel doing the right thing? Yes? No? Why.
