NO ARNOLD FOR PRESIDENT: NATIONAL MOVEMENT LAUNCHED TO STOP ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER AND HIS POLITICAL OPERATIVES FROM DESTROYING THE US CONSTITUTION

Americans Against Arnold is strongly opposed to amending Article 2, Clause 5 of the US Constitution that bars the foreign-born from seeking the Presidency. High-level political operatives from Arnold 's Schwarzenegger's gubernatorial campaign have commenced a media blitzkrieg propagandizing for a change in the Constitution so Arnold can run for President.

Arnold has said for decades that he wants to amend the Constitution so he can be President. Now, Congressman Dana Rohrbacher, Senator Orin Hatch and others have introduced legislation known in Congress as “Arnold Bills” to give Schwarzenegger what he wants. This has been an obvious, well-focused campaign to mold public opinion in favor of amending the Constitution for Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Arnold has publicly stated that he has dreamed of being a dictator. Americans Against Arnold founder Alex Jones says, “ Arnold 's already running for President. His operatives have been dominating the airwaves, despite the fact that in major polls 80+ percent of Americans don't want to change the Constitution so he can be President. This narcissistic megalomaniac would have control of the nuclear launch codes if he were President – just think about that. From defending known Nazi Kurt Waldheim, using illegal drugs and sexually harassing women, I've never heard of a politician coated in this much slime.”

Americans Against Arnold has launched a counteroffensive that represents the American people's views, the Founding Father's warnings and the US Constitution. To that means we will be running radio and television commercials in select areas of the country to raise public awareness to the real nature of Arnold Schwarzenegger and the clear and present danger he represents to American sovereignty.

Make no mistake: Arnold and his minions intend for him to run in 2008. Congressman Rohrabacher told the San Jose Mercury-News on November 3 that Republican leadership believes Arnold has turn the tide and that they want him for President “when Bush is done.”

We beg the media to go to ArnoldExposed.com and look at all the well-respected publications that have chronicled Arnold 's frightening activities. We sincerely hope that they will interview the founder of Americans Against Arnold and give us equal time to this important issue. All we've seen for the last month is the glossy media presentation of how great Arnold is and what a great idea it would be to amend the Constitution.

Americans Against Arnold founder Alex Jones is a documentary filmmaker and national radio host who has been researching Arnold Schwarzenegger for years. He has done thousands of interviews on radio and television in the United States and internationally. JUDICIARY STATEMENT:

"MAXIMIZING VOTER CHOICE:"
"OPENING THE PRESIDENCY TO NATURALIZED AMERICANS"

Statement of Senator Orrin G. Hatch before the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary

Hearing on “Maximizing Voter Choice: Opening the Presidency to Naturalized Americans”

Good morning and welcome to the Senate Judiciary Committee’s hearing entitled Maximizing Voter Choice: Opening the Presidency to Naturalized Americans.

A few weeks ago, we celebrated Citizenship Day. The purpose of this holiday is to honor those people who have become United States citizens.

Citizenship, whether by birth or naturalization, is the cornerstone of this nation’s values and ideals. Each year, hundreds of thousands of immigrants complete the naturalization application process to become citizens. In 1996 alone, there were over one million new citizens naturalized in America. And according to the Department of Homeland Security, approximately 20 million individuals have become naturalized citizens in this country since 1907.

The United States is known as the land of opportunity, but there is one opportunity that these American citizens will never be able to attain under current law. They can never hold the office of the President. Article 2, Section 1, Clause 5 of our Constitution, which sets forth the eligibility criteria for the Office of the President, requires a President to be a natural born citizen.

What is a natural born citizen? Clearly, someone born in the United States or one of its territories is a natural born citizen. But a child who is adopted from a foreign country to American parents in the United States is not eligible for the presidency. That does not seem fair or right to me.

Similarly, it is unclear whether a child born to U.S. servicemen overseas would be eligible. Most academics believe that these individuals would be eligible for the Presidency, but I note that some academic scholars disagree. A recent article in Green Bag, a journal that specializes in Constitutional law, quotes an 1898 Supreme Court case that the natural born citizen clause “was used in reference to that principle of public law, well understood in this country at the time of the adoption of the Constitution, which referred citizenship to the place of birth.”

I have proposed a constitutional amendment, S.J. Res. 15, to address this issue. The Equal Opportunity to Govern Amendment would amend the Constitution to permit any person who has been a United States citizen for at least 20 years to be eligible for the Presidency.

As Boise State University Professor John Freemuth explained, the natural born citizenship requirement is something of an artifact from another time. It is time for us – the elected representatives of this nation of immigrants -- to begin the process that can result in removing this artificial, outdated, unnecessary and unfair barrier. While there was scant debate on this provision during the Constitutional Convention, it is apparent that the decision to include the natural born citizen requirement in our Constitution was driven largely by the concern over 200 years ago that a European monarch might be imported to rule the United States.

This restriction has become an anachronism that is decidedly un-American. Consistent with our democratic form of government, our citizens should have every opportunity to choose their leaders free of unreasonable limitations. Indeed, no similar restriction bars other critical members of the government from holding office, including the Senate, the House of Representatives, the United States Supreme Court, or the President’s most trusted cabinet officials.

The history of the United States is replete with scores of great and patriotic Americans whose dedication to this country is beyond reproach, but who happen to have been born outside of our borders. These include former secretaries of state Henry Kissinger and Madeline Albright, the current Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao, and former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Mel Martinez, who is now running for a Senate seat in Florida. As our Constitution reads today, none of these well-qualified, patriotic United States citizens could be a lawful candidate for President.

As Congressman David Dreier has stated: The Constitution limits us from having the opportunity of choosing someone who’s a bold, dynamic, dedicated leader for our country.

Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm, who was born in Canada, also supports this amendment. She explained: You can’t choose where you are born, but you can choose where you live and where you swear your allegiance.

This is also true for the more than 700 immigrant recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor – our nation’s highest decoration for valor – who risked their lives defending the freedoms and liberties of this great nation. But no matter how great their sacrifice, leadership, or love for this country, they remain ineligible to be a candidate for President. This amendment would remove this unfounded inequity.

Any proposal to amend the Constitution is not one I take lightly. But I believe that amending the Constitution in this instance would facilitate the democratic process by giving the American voters more choice in determining who should be elected as President of the United States. As Professor John Yoo, from Boalt Hall, told the Los Angeles Times: Making naturalized citizens eligible to become president would fall within the tradition of amending the Constitution to expand democracy, whether it be expanding the franchise or making elected representatives more directly elected.

My proposal is already garnering bipartisan support. Several senators have publicly expressed support for a constitutional amendment in statements made to the media over the last several months. In addition, we are fortunate to have with us today, a panel of six distinguished members of Congress to discuss various proposals in the Senate and the House that would maximize voter choice for the Presidency. I look forward to hearing from them and from our academic experts on Panel 2.

When that thread came up a couple of weeks ago about our guess for the Repub candidate for 2008--I got all kinds of contrary opinions when I said Arnold. BUT, obviously Arnold and Orrin see it my way. I'm not saying I want it to be Arnold, but I just think he's it.

I think the Constitution shouldn't be amended to please the whim of foreign born Arnold who wants to be President. If he loves our country so much, why can't he uphold our Constitution? This isn't the movies where you play make believe.

I think Arnold is too liberal anyway. His popularity helped him get elected Governor. On the issues Arnold doesn't always follow the conservative platform. But I guess winning and being able to win is most important these days. Many of us are expected to gloss over the inconsistencies. It seems some Republicans don't choose to act like it anymore!

No Arnold, No Terminator, No Foreign Born President

Here's a snip of the interview that Larry King had with Arnold Schwarzenegger on November 16. In this interview he talks about all of this.

KING: Let's get into a lot of them. There's a movement afoot, commercials starting already, to amend the constitution to make it possible for a foreign-born person to run for president. Do you support that movement? Forgetting you. Do you support the idea?

SCHWARZENEGGER: I think it is a good idea to open it up and to let foreign-born people also participate in that process, or to run if they're long enough here and if they really -- if the people show an interest in them. I mean, it's all up to the people in the end. And I think it's a good debate to have. I think it's good that America is talking about that, that you know, in Washington they're talking about it. But I think it's important to leave me out of that discussion because otherwise it becomes a political discussion, because I'm not thinking about running for president.
KING: You're not?

SCHWARZENEGGER: I'm not even thinking about, you know, if I should run for governor again or not. So that's not where my mind is. I think that, you know, I think it's a good discussion to have, but they should leave me out of it. Otherwise, it becomes a political discussion.

KING: And you're not involved in this campaign currently under way to...

SCHWARZENEGGER: No, I have nothing to do with it.

KING: Although you would support it?

SCHWARZENEGGER: As a matter of fact, I think that right now it is somewhat in the way of what I'm trying to do in California.

KING: How so?

SCHWARZENEGGER: Because in a way I think it makes it looks like that this is what I'm aiming for and I'm doing all this in order to reach the next step and all this, which is not the case. I'm taking one step at a time. To me the most important thing is if I can walk away from this job and keep the promises that I made, you know. I've kept a lot of the promises and it will take me another year to keep the rest of the promises. I think that is the important thing, to be able to walk away and say I turned the state around, I brought the two parties together, the Republicans and the Democrats, and that you have Democrats and Republicans looking at your performance and saying this guy really turned the state around, he brought jobs back, he brought the economy back, he brought opportunities back, he straightened out education and health care and all those things. That's really what I'm shooting for, is to really be a servant of the people and to make government a better servant of the people.

Anyone remember the 1993 movie "Demolition Man." which referred to a "Schwarzenegger Presidential Library?" Pretty strange, indeed. Here's a short audio clip from Alex Chadwick of NPR.....

not only that but i just found out that in the movie demolition man there was a character up for parole named scott peterson...
weird, and in the terminator movies arnolds charactor comes back from the future to kill the woman who would give birth to his nemesis, the mans name was conner,

scott petersons son was named conner, it gets weirder and weirder doesn't it?
downright spooky at times i don't know if its life imitating art, or if somehow, someone is planting psycological memes in entertainment to prepare us for the transition thats coming,

Saved, to glorify God.
I don't care if Arnold Swartzenegger could walk on water and was pro-gun, pro life, pro war or anything else. Nothing personal, because:

I DON'T WANT ANY CANDIDATE THAT IS NOT BORN IN AMERICA, PERIOD.

Our forefathers were wise and advised us through the Constitution they bequeathed to us to NEVER allow such a thing.
