This is the seventh poll in the series. Pete/ME should be posting a graph in this thread representing the previous poll results.

Thinking back to that threat from "AQ" that went something like '... our attention will be focused on a natural disaster'. Looking @ Ivan. Thinking and speculating way too much.

I should switch to decaf... :shk:

I'm watchful, ready, AND HAVE BEEN CHECKING THE PREPS FOR THE LAST THIRTY DAYS.

Getting ready for Charley, Frances, and Ivan has been a wonderful exercise in prep improvement.

I've decided to move up a notch from glued to fraeked. Looks like 'any day now' is here and we're in for two magnificent months of doom at the very least. Cauldron bubble, toil and trouble. Don't like the nk situation. Mystified by what happened in LA yesterday. Hurricanes & economic woes. This is not a test :)

Pragmatically speaking, what do you think any al Q. plan to capitalize on a natural disaster would be - or is the idea bunk?

Ivan was a magnet to any and all indications that we'd be affected. We are blessed to be home to thousands of evacuees instead. However, with that immediate threat behind me I am still seriously concerned about this sudden national guard involuntary call-up, the upcoming election and what's left of the economy. P.S.- Not to mention we are far from being through the end of hurricaine season here and more activity on the horizon.

Dropped again to "a bit concerned". Nothing is happening regarding terror, major natural events, etc. in our AO. Still watch what is happening, but not overly concerned about the world.

The arsonist who has been lighting the central sierras up was caught last week, (that helped) too bad we lost a firefighter first. :shk:

Thanks again for the chart, Pete. It's beginning to look like a pattern is emerging, with a cycle that peaks roughly every two months.

Voted watchful, ready. What would really be interesting is to know whether or not we have the same people voting in the poll each time.

Actually it is at a level twixed in between 'watchful,,,' and 'glued'. I know it's there just waiting for the right time to strike(the calm before the storm); so I have all my senses tuned and am on high alert. I fear I won't have long to wait.
