Several Reported Shot at Fort Hood
As many as 15 people have been reportedly shot at Fort Hood near Kileen. KXXV-TV in Killeen is reporting that all available EMS units near Killeen are being dispatched to Fort Hood. Huge Military location, now on lock-down. One gunman (or more unsure) on post, opened fire. 12-15+ injured. Police, ambulances on way. Per local news - ABC Channel 8 news. Looking for gunmen on post.
News coming out of Waco closest to facility. ETA: Updates 7 dead, 20 pp injured. Thought I head a unit was dispatching for third tour of Iraq from this location today.

Some part of the shooting took place at the soldier processing center; and the PX is now surrounded, possibly that last shooter (calling him a sniper) inside. Two of the victims may have been a woman and child. But this is being reported from a local news station, and it may not be accurate of course.
The msm keeps trying to bring up that this could be fratricide, except that it would be highly unusual obviously for two guys with PTSD issues to go ballistic in unison like this. D - The most likely scenerio is to assume two muslims dressed in uniform, than making the big stretch that a couple of military buddies have gone on a join suicide mission, but it that is still a possibility, just less likely to me than a terrorist plot being carried out. Time will tell. ETA: Apparently now there is a third shooter who has opened fire, per KCEN.

by Patrick Tolbert FORT HOOD - All available EMS units in and around Killeen are being dispatched to Fort Hood where a "mass casualty event" has taken place. News Channel 25 has learned a shooting has left seven people dead and 12 injured. The Nolanville Fire Department tells News Channel 25 that they've been asked to bring all available EMS and Rescue personnel. We've learned an incident has taken place at the sports dome, now known as the soldier readiness area. Darnall Army Community Hospital reports they have received numerous victims. The spokeswoman could not confirm what types of injuries the victims were suffering. Temple ISD Schools Have Been locked down as part of this incident. The district's spokeswoman tells News Channel 25 Temple Police are placing officers at each TISD campus. The schools will dismiss as usual. Killeen is the same town that George Hennard drove his truck into Luby's Cafeteria and started shooting all the customers in the early 90s.
Waco is very close and they had the early 90's shootout with Davis Koresh. Lots of nutsy things go on in that area.

One attacker was in custody but another was on the loose following the rampage at the Fort Hood complex, MSNBC said. The two suspects were in military uniform and the man still at large is believed to have a high-powered sniper rifle, it added. The shooting is thought to have happened at a training centre on the base in Kileen. Army personnel told Fox News they were not sure if the victims were civilians or military personnel.

hearing reports that there are TWO shooters and that one is still out there.
there was a recent post in a now closed thread in the BS that had to do with a call from AQ to all jihadis to use what ever means available to attack us. I think that communique came out this last Sunday? I can't imagine fratricide would be involved with two shooters. Mike ETA: Must have been posting when AddisonRose posted... last I heard FOX was saying 2 so wow... if 3 then it is an obvious attack.

http://www.cnn.com/live/ CNN saying only one military "source" mentioned the possibility of multiple shooters. Not clear yet if there are more than one. Be careful with Fox Breaking News (Especially Shepard Smith). They have a history of saying -anything- during an event and the rest of the media just regurgitates unconfirmed "news".

throwing this out there...
The attack in India had the jihadis using radios and cell phones to coordinate and communicate... there IS an active and ongoing firefight between one of the shooters and some element of law enforcement (MPs?) There was an event at that post today... a graduation or homecoming event with family on the post. Seems highly probable that this is an attack and who knows what else might be involved. Everyone needs to pucker up and use situational awareness right now, where ever you are. Mike
