80 %. That was a fun quiz Seven...thanks for sharing. Sometimes not enough options and just had to go with the closest fit.

I scored 66%

"You Are 66% Likely to Survive Another Great Depression

Even though you may not be expecting the worst, you're the type of person who prepares for the worst. You live a relatively modest life. You don't overspend, and you aren't very materialistic.

You are also quite self sufficient and independent. You have many useful skills. You can take care of yourself and those you love... which is crucial to surviving another Great Depression."

That was cool thanks! ;)

You Are 87% Likely to Survive Another Great Depression

You have been saving for a rainy day... or a rainy few years.
While most people may not have as grim of an outlook as you, they're also not as prepared as you.

If society collapses, you'll have plenty of food and resources for you and your loved ones.
And plenty of ammo for anyone who wants to steal from your stockpile!

I scored 60% which is probably not too bad considering. Told me the same info karvay received. Not much for leadway on the questions but one could get a pretty good idea of where they stand. Have a feeling a lot of people would scoreless than 5% on that quiz.

Fun, but it seemed a little too focused on money. IMNSHO, the idea is to insulate yourself from needing money by having on hand a lot of "stuff" er uh "preps". You could have $1 million today that, with hyperinflation, could only buy a weeks worth of groceries tomorrow in a SHTF scenario.

Or insulating oneself from even having to deal with other people -most especially in a pandemic shituation.

And most especially, to try to insulate yourself from the herd mentality of dem/repub idiocy, even though they force themselves upon you.

It's very circumstantial also. You could have 100% chance of survival in this quiz, but if the newly armed hordes from the urban areas descend upon you....

I was honest in my answers and not B.S.ing myself.

You Are 55% Likely to Survive Another Great Depression

61 percent. Definitely need improvement.

But before I discovered TB2K a couple years ago -- we'd probably have been at 10%.

So thanks!

Yep, money may not be worth squat.

How much perishable food do you have? Well if it is perishable it would probably not be good to have a years worth.:D And if you lose electricity perishable food won't last long at all. Maybe it would be better to have a lot on non-perishable food.

What if you own your home outright and have a lot of equity in it?

I am not employed and not actively looking for work. I have a government pension and DW works.

Interesting quiz - I scored 86%.

There were several questions that could have used some options:

I really don't consider myself in excellant health, but I don't have any problems either

The guns and ammo could have been, a gun and ammo, a gun for each member of the family and ammo, a hand gun and long gun for each member of the family, etc.

There wasn't anything on water, heat or the ability to cook without electricity.

How about a question like, Have you practiced these skills?

75%. I know I can survive most situations. My worst fear is I'd really hate to have to defend me and mine in a life/death situation - once the 'mama hormones' kick in there won't be any question about it.

My main problem will be getting my husband's meds, and accomidating his diet.
One thing the quiz lacked was "Do you own your home free and clear" which I, and probably a lot others here can answer "yes" to.

75%. That quizz was written by someone who really doesn't have a clue.
None of the questions had very useable choices.

Well, I scored a 76% but I think that may be too optimistic. A few of the questions I was between two options. I think that this quiz is more for an economic depression (like the Great Depression) not for a total collapse of society. If that would happen, money and savings would mean nothing and your house would only be your house until someone stronger came and took it away.

I am %83 likely to survive a depression according to their estimates. I think my main problem is living in a suburb. That is a debatable one and every area would be judged differently in my opinion.
The area we are in could be in serious peril if racial problems occured but otherwise I think our neighbors would pull together and their are some very proficient people here: horticulturalists, construction, doctors, pharmasists, lpn nurse, other type nurses, dental hygenist, electricians, plumbers. We have a very diverse group of neighbors. Teachers, ex military, eye doctors(2),several cops-city,state,county, including detectives. Our next door neighbor's mother and father have a farm with about thirty beef cattle and about fifty laying hens. Another guy we know has a farm nearby with about sixty or eighty beef cows. We are electrical contractors and have most any power tool that anyone could need in a shtf situation. We have several people with tractors in our area with all attatchments needed for farming. A welder with a shop out back,a mechanic/race car buff,a fresh water spring in the woods less than 100 yards from our front door, several people (including us) with gardens, yards big enough for large gardens, all the stores we would need like walmart, lowes, home depot, several groceries, hardware, auto parts, mechanics shops, tractor supply, and many more things that could be of help in hard times. Of course if things got real bad then no stores would be open, but I think we would still be in pretty good shape but only if no major racial problems occur. If racial problems occur then we are toast if they come our way. Way to many in our area to overcome without some serious confrontation.
Looking at what I have just said we have it a lot better than I realy thought we might, but again only if people pull together; and that is a big if. Things could definantly go the other way.

Aso I have no gold or silver and many here think that will be a nessasary item but I will most likely not trade anything I can use or eat for something that is of value in a monitary sence only. I think a millionaire who wants to save his fortune from evaporating would want to stash gold and silver to ensure still having wealth if and when things got back to normal, but for me it would not be that important unless I had the extra to invest. Preps would be my main concern and then barter and trade would hopfuly get me the things needed. Don't think I would trade for gold unless it was very obvious that people were trading for it and things I needed were attainable with it.

61% Against me: living out in the country, recent not-so-nice medical diagnosis with corresponding expensive tests (took all of our savings) and probably some sort of expensive medication (eventually), eliminates some of my pantry as potential food for me (not the rest of the family)...can't do much about that. :shr:

A bunch of the questions were really N/A for me, so I had to wing it.

I'm not grim, I'm just cheap! (But not easy!)

While the test was fun,I hope nobody depends on it to much. There will be people with everything they need that will not last the first month and others that start with nothing and make it to the end.Having a lot of preps and no debt increases your chances but that brain in your head is the most important prep item. Then there is just plain good or bad luck.
