MSM SHOCK: LA Times Labels Black Oregon Shooter as White Supremacist!!!

The Los Angeles Times has labeled the Oregon shooter as having “white supremacist leanings” even though the shooter was black. The shooter identified as “mixed race” and reportedly had a black mother. Quoting an alleged anonymous source in law enforcement, the paper wrote, “A federal law enforcement source familiar with the investigation said, though, that authorities had obtained some of Harper-Mercer’s writings, as well as a note he left behind, suggesting that he supported white-supremacist causes and opposed organized religion. He also liked to discuss military history, the official said.”

Regarding the race of the shooter and his motivations, the Daily Beast reported that the shooter admired the black Roanoke shooter who expressed racial motivations for his actions. They also wrote, “The father is Caucasian, Evans said, while Mercer’s mother, Laurel Harper, is black.”

The absurdity and apparent lack of an actual knowledgeable source in the LA Times article was first pointed out by Daniel Greenfield in FrontPage Magazine. He wrote:

According to the LA Times, Chris Harper Mercer, the Oregon killer, was a “White Supremacist”.

One slight problem. Mercer identified as multi-racial. His mother was black. He doesn’t seem to have even known his father. He identified with black TV killer Vester Lee Flanagan.

Though it is possible that someone resembling the Dave Chappelle character Clayton Bigsby, who was a blind black white supremacist, did exist, we can all agree that it is unlikely.

Birth Certificate Name is: Christopher Sean Mercer – 07/26/1989.
Mother: Laurel Margaret Harper – 04/05/1951
Dad: Ian Bernard Mercer – 05/15/1960
Divorced in 2006

On the left is the selfie Christopher Mercer uploaded to his social media. On the right is how CNN presented the same selfie in broadcast stories about him. Why did CNN need to change the complexion (color) of their broadcast? Why is no-one showing pictures of mom, Laurel Margaret Harper.

Why change to hyphenated name? Real name is Christopher Sean Mercer. Media using Christopher Harper-Mercer and Chris Harper-Mercer.
Follow Up to THIS STORY

Several months ago we shared the story of Eric Sheppard Jr. a radical “Black Lives Matter”, “F**k The Police” and Islamic radical who used a philosophy of black supremacy similar to the New Black Panthers. Sheppard gained brief notoriety when he held a U.S. Flag Stomping event at Valdosta State University.

After his public exposure, and after the police filed a warrant for his arrest on firearms violations, and after he mailed a racist manifesto to a local Georgia Newspaper – while on the run, he was finally arrested in Tampa Florida by U.S. Marshals.

Eric Sheppard’s story disappeared from the headlines and never resurfaced.

Yesterday, while reviewing the social footprint of Oregon shooter Chris Harper-Mercer, (aka Chris Sean Mercer) an almost identical world-view to Eric Sheppard Jr. was evident in Mercer’s social media history.

Chris Harper-Mercer, a mixed-race angry 26-year-old, was essentially the mirror image on social media as Eric Sheppard Jr.

Mercer held sympathetic words and thoughts for the Virginia shooter Vester Flanagan, and similarly raged against white people, and expressed sympathy toward the Black Lives Matter movement. (Example Below):

However, today almost all of that social media history is GONE -> Example Here. It is either removed entirely, and/or edited for content. How it could be edited is a mystery unless there is some other issue at hand.

In addition, as several researchers have noted, anyone who held attachment to Mercer appears to be deleting the content of their association. Including Umpqua Community College itself.

As D-Man was pointing out Mercer was part of a production class going to present a play at Umpqua Community College named “BLITHE SPIRIT“. The play was scheduled to run later this month:

However, everything to do with that production has been scrubbed and deleted. Including the FaceBook page (since deleted) But visible on Cache HERE and more HERE.

Being part of an Umpqua college production class and performance etc. would run counter to the seemingly preferred media narrative of Chris Harper-Mercer being a loner, no?

Indeed if you were to look for information about Chris Harper-Mercer even being enrolled as a student at Umpqua you might even find contradictions and obfuscations about it. It seems rather odd that only foreign publications even make note of this fact:

“But he was listed as a “production assistant” in a Facebook post promoting a performance of a Noel Coward play by the school’s drama group” (link) ~ British

“Police think Mercer may have been a student at Umpqua because he was found with a receipt from the campus bookstore showing he had purchased textbooks.” (link) ~ Canadian

While generally there will always be a “fog” about events, as something happens and people rush around trying to identify the full story, one would think it would be really easy to determine if Mercer was a student, and what classes he was specifically enrolled for.

Then there’s this little snippet which might clear all of this up:

Stacy Boylan said his daughter told him the man “gave somebody a box, somebody who lived, and said, ‘You gotta deliver this.’ Somebody has a box. I don’t know what that’s about.”

Law enforcement officials familiar with the investigation told CNN that the gunman handed his writings to a survivor, telling that person to give it to police, but the sources could not confirm the writings were inside the box. (link)

So apparently Mercer has given a “manifesto” (another similarity to E. Sheppard Jr) to a surviving student of the shooting.

Summary: The immediate on-line web history of Chris Harper-Mercer showed him to be a mixed-race, angry young man in general alignment with various radical racially aligned groups such as Black Lives Matter, **** The Police and **** Yo Flag – all of which carry a sentiment of favorability and ideological alignment with Islam which was similarly evident in the Ferguson protest movement.

[ Against this backdrop shooting “White” “Christians” makes sense. ]

However, in the course of several hours (one media cycle) – the media narrative is selling a profile of a loner, mentally disturbed individual without any mention of his previous writings (deleted/changed), behaviors (hidden) and social tendencies (ignored).

Why?

Perhaps the answer lies within the response to the shooting from the White House where President Obama took quickly to the microphones to decry another school shooting without fully understanding the motive and intent.

Mercer’s possible motive and intent would now represent a political embarrassment against the backdrop of Obama’s speech if it aligns with something other than needed.

I am praying for all of this corruption and deception to be exposed...because it sure seems like it can't be stopped. Its like a freight train heading down-hill, picking up speed and heading to a cliff.

The article go's on how odd that all these crazed shooters are attracted to schools and how they are completely gun free zones.
What if some of these crazed shooters get the notion of going to a TV station or News Paper and pick off dozen or so reporters or their CEO's?
Would they be so quick to condemn the weapon used or would all they start screaming for or demanding gun permits?

Interesting thought to say the lest, and what if.

Except of curse many Histpanics ARE white, I had a close friend from Mexico City (from an old Castillian family) with red hair, Celtic white skin and green eyes); "Hispanics" can be anything from the descendants of the original Spanish settlers; Germans who settled all over the place, the Irish in Mexico and Central America etc; they can also be "mixed" with both African and Native American groups (the former being more common in places like Cuba and Venezuela, the latter in Mexico and Peru).

So yep, a "Hispanic" can be as white and Celtic looking as me (and may have a good old Central American Name like O-Higgins or Foxx in Mexico) or they can be nearly all African or Native America; often a mix of all three ...

Apparently his Facebook was very pro-BLM & very anti-White. And it was taken down within 2 hours of the shootings.

There is a very orchestrated agenda that is anti-White, From obama's policies, media censorship and manipulation to forced immigration- White genocide is the goal.

Actually it is a lot more complicated than that, but I don't want to totally run this thread off the rails; there was heavy immigration in parts of Mexico and Latin America from the Irish, Germans and Italians - there is an entire group of very Mexican folk songs about the Irish Brigades that fought in the various Mexican and Mexican American wars.

Benardo O'Higgins was a real Central American Dictator and former President of Mexico Vicente Foxx has cousins living here in my village; in Venezuela as well as some of the other Andean countries there are entire "German" towns and Italian towns, where people visit just like they do Solvang or Little Italy in the US.

Mexico had less African immigration (or importation) than a lot of the Caribbean nations but this did have some; however Mexico did have a lot of inter-marriage and even in some cases separation among the Native Americans who were there first.

So the majority of people in Mexico are Mestizo or a mix of Spanish and Native American, with a bit of African in some cases but not nearly as high as saw in Venezuela; but you can't always "tell" exactly the background of Latin Americans just by looking at them. In some countries "las familias Altas" or the High Elites have taken spouses from Europe and the United States back before the days of Simone Bolivar (whose wife was European) and it worked sometimes the other way as well.

Yes, Hispanic is a made up word but Latin Americans tend to use it to indicate anyone from a "Latin" (Spanish speaking) background or family; someone who may be "North American" but not may or may not be a citizen of the US.

White non-Hispanics often believe this only covers dark- "Mexican" (aka Aztec or Mayan mix looking people) but that is NOT how Hispanics see themselves...which was really my point; Hispanic isn't a "race" anymore than most Latin Americans are a "race." Though they do include "Criollos" or families of the original Spanish settlers who managed to most marry with each other and Europeans (like the French and English) for nearly 500 years...

Variations of this MO have been present in so many shootings (especially multi victim shootings) that anyone other than a blind idiot can see they are being orchestrated.

The answer to the question of who is doing the orchestration is found by simply assessing who will be able to advance “his” agenda by the events taking place.

They are frequently used as diversions in addition to being agenda propellants and this one looks like a good candidate for being a diversion. The timing of the killings is too convenient and, as someone posted, the organizers are getting too confident and a bit sloppy.

The news media and social media was filled with discussion of how inept Obama looked in comparison to Putin in the Syrian mess. Even the leftist media was noting how the administration was stymied regarding what it could do other than blather meaningless threats.

Conveniently the subject has now changed back to one with which the administration can more comfortably deal (control).

They could not/cannot control Putin but Facebook, other social media and the news media is/are under their thumb.
