Basically, the internet lets people access all kinds of opinions and information that can inspire them to terrorism more easily.

Expect this to be part of the groundwork for FAR more intrusive internet surveillance, as well as preemptive shutdown of sites deemed to be inciting domestic terrorism, such as this one and blogs like Mosby and IIIPatriot.

Oh I know TPTB hate Mosby! He is actually out there training folks hands on for the coming unpleasantness!

Funny thing is they could shut down the Internet, and it would make it more difficult to communicate. But it still would not quiet the seething rage in folks hearts......

However, shutting down the net, or even just the various "right-wing" sites would have the effect of isolating that rage you mention. It's what you might call the "Rush Limbaugh effect". Until he started his show, many many right-wing folks never knew their opinions and beliefs were so widespread. All they got was the left-wing drivel pumped out by the MSM. The net has given those people a way to make the interaction two-way, not just a voice on a radio. They could collaborate and reinforce, and share information and link up. Take all that away (and you can be sure "talk radio" will be a target soon too if they hit the net; another attempted implementation of the "Fairness Doctrine") and the Right loses its coherency, its ability to work together beyond a very local level, and even a lot of its ability to grow. The US will still be bombarded by the left's lies and distortions, but the Right will once again have no way to cut through the noise. The rage might still be there, but its teeth will have been pulled, even if only for a while. The problem is, the Right likely doesn't have a lot of time left before things get too oppressive to maintain functioning.

Absolutely.

The Repubs haven't been truly "conservative" basically since Reagan (and they didn't even like HIM---though the American PEOPLE did).

The other parties are too divided against one another arguing over who's got it 'right' and who's "pure-ist" to take a stand TOGETHER, so "divided they fall".

The churches were the last bastion speaking (as much as IRS non-profit rules would let them) against evil in our society---and the BSA policy change is a nose-under-the-tent move to infiltrate churches and forbid any manner of doctrinal steadfastness with the threat of the church's being sued and / or prosecuted for "hate speech" and losing its tax-exempt status (the power of tax being the power to destroy)

The citizenry are being deprived of ALL First Amendment and Bill of Right guarantees---speech, press, religion, assembly---and will soon have their very LIVES directly threatened since the government will control what health care they receive (or not), and can use the IRS to confiscate their personal money or possessions to either extort the "fee" for the insurance or the "fine" for non-compliance

The free passing of knowledge and information is the only avenue of freedom O hasn't sewed up yet---so now he's going after that.

We won't know our country a year from now.

Well, the muzzies were networked and on the regular boards boasting before 9/11. It is THEY who brought terrorism to the internet. So let's not forget that fact.

After the conservative groups have been shut down or denied internet access for "Promoting terrorism", the muzzie groups will still be here...

By the way. By what authority does the FBI exist? It is certainly not authorized by the U.S. Constitution. . . . . . This is another agency we don't need and can't afford.
