Very well said. Concern is not panic and things over there are in a holding pattern. If we don't provoke Kim like we did with those exercises, things will remain calm. If he sees a provocation, things will heat back up.
I suppose that a month after the Cuban Missile Crisis past, some would post that people got all hot under the collar following that one too.

ETA: no, I'm not directly comparing what happened in NK to the Cuban Missile crisis, what i'm saying is that this event may have gone any number of ways, just like that one could've, and to say nothing was happening for those weeks we were watching because it ended without a 'bang' (like cuba) is just wrong, imho.
Yeah, NK has upped the rhetoric since the Nimitz is in the area conducting exercises, but that was expected.
I haven't been posting the stuff from NK, but will post a few.
