NOPD Superintendent Ronal Serpas says that at least 12 people were shot at a Mother's Day second-line parade in the 7th Ward.
The youngest victim in the shooting was 10 years old.
Police say there were 200 people at the corner where shots rang out, and 300 to 400 people at the second line in all.
EMS took nine people to University Hospital; eight were suffering from gunshot wounds, while another was injured in a fall while escaping the shooting. Three of those victims who were shot are in critical condition.
There were about 10 cops on the scene trying to control the second line when the shooting happened. There were reportedly two different guns involved.
Police believe three suspects were involved. They were seen fleeing toward Claiborne Avenue."
The location says it all. Lousy area.

That didn't take long. The post about a false flag event meter being red! Hours???

This wasn't a false flag, just run of the mill gun violence in a bad neighborhood. Very common in New Orleans. The local news usually leads off with a shooting or two each night.
Exactly. No second line or MLK parade is ever deemed a success without the requisite shootings. This happens at most second lines, the Mardi Gras Indians parade, and the MKL parade every year. It's usually not 19, but every event you can count on at least 3-5 getting injured/killed. Then the mayor and police chief take to the airwaves to plea for peace and trot out grieving mothers (extra air time if they wail and "fall out", no fathers are ever present) to talk about how horrible things are and how NOLA needs to do something for them. Never mentioned is the fact that these "activities" are always limited to a certain demographic. Growing up there, you know not to go anywhere near any of this. It's bad enough on a regular day. Unfortunately, good neighborhood vs bad neighborhoods in NOLA can vary by as little as one block.
You have to wonder if there just isn't an effort by some group to get the government to end gun ownership regardless of what it takes. Far too much of this going on.
Conspiracy?
