Whew. By the skin of my teeth!

Hi TB2K,

I've been lurking a few weeks & really enjoying the gardening threads & the dog threads. And the Cyprus thread- now that is serious dedication. I am a Texan by birth *and* the Grace of God & ring mistress to a pack of Eskies + a couple of others.

Thank you for having me!

Wow! Couple of busy months here! Welcome to all! Good to see so many like-minded individuals here to participate, learn, contribute or simply just be counted among the number of us who are wary, weary and hopefully ready. If not, roll up your sleeves! Get busy! And hope you enjoy your stay!

I wanted to check in and say hello to this board. And thank you for allowing me to join. I've been lurking on this site as a visitor since the North Korean news started in again.

Also, a few fellow posters from another board also mention that this is a good site, so that led me over here.

My name is Kathy and I am from the very red, conservative, Bible belt of SE Missouri. And I'm one of them as well. :)

Ooops. I forgot to check in here first. Sorry about that. Firstly, thank you for letting me be a part of your forums. I'm really happy to a part of this now. I've been a lurker for some time but finally got the courage to take the next step and join the board. I really love the information and insight from the members on the board so I'm looking forward to participating. Again, thanks for me letting join. All the best to everyone on this site.

Thanks, Deena. Thanks, Nancy. I'm in. Hello TB2000. It will take time for me to get the hang of the TB set-up, maneuver around, learn the forum. Will see you here and there on the board.

Hi, I'm checking in here for the first time, and yet I've been lurking here for several years. I, personally, have never liked the term "lurker". It sounds so sinister and furtive.

I've certainly enjoyed the day to day repartee and have learned quite a bit by just being a fly on the wall, (with big ears).

Texas boy, born and raised, and my mindset is near the "average" of the board members taken as a whole.

Thanks for letting me hang around so long unofficially.

Can you dig it !
I still feel like a newby / lurker .. Even though I haev been here since 2008

Just wanted to pop in for a formal hello to all.

I read daily .. .I rarely post anything.. Just poke around for information and
to keep up with news and happenings.

Just wanted to make sure I do not get bumped for not looking like a LiVe person 8)

I appreciate all the chatter and wisdom from all of you over the years

Hi there. Looking forward to learning a lot from this message board. I love to garden and shoot guns. I'm younger than most. Most of you seem wise and I look forward to reading more. Have a good evening.

Hello, the Forum. I'm a new member and I live in the south west of Scotland. I have only very recently become aware of the need to prepare and that was quite by accident, stumbling across a prep site in the UK. I thank God that, while my state of preparedness is abysmally low, I now at least have my eyes open.

I need to get this right - not for me, I'm an old git - for my two beautiful granddaughters. They're the ones I need to protect and provide for. If there's anything in my power I can do for them, then do it I will.

Forewarned is forearmed...

Hello, I am new to TB2K, but many of you may remember me under the same username at FS writing PAW fiction, (America Under Siege, Surviving With Joe, Death of a Digital World), or at the Survivalistboards, IForgeIron, and the Outdoor Basecamp forums also under the same moniker.
