Saved, to glorify God.
I don't get why you would need a special unit for pasteurization unless it is so you don't accidentally boil the milk or whatever you are pasteurizing?
(BTW-You have to register first in order to bid on shopgoodwill.com)

Hello? Where are the goat milkers?

Most people with a couple of goats or a cow prefer their milk raw. This would be helpful to someone who's doing a CAE/CL prevention by pasteurizing all their milk before the goat kids drink it. But the raw milk drinkers aren't going to need one.

Yeah, the problem is, at this point, almost anyone who is producing their own milk is doing so because they WANT to drink it raw.

I'd sell a cow whose milk required pasteurization to be safe, before I'd pasteurize the milk.

It might well be adaptable to other homestead pursuits... not quite sure how the "vacuum cooling" works. I can say that hubby's parents got on the "pasteurization" bandwagon in the 1950's, and hubby still remembers it tasting HORRID. Commercial pasteurization use "flash" methods which heat- and cool- the milk VERY fast. That helps preserve flavor (and hopefully nutrition, as well)
