I know some folk think I must read a lot, and I do, but whenever I run up on something worth reading IMHO I like to offer up a way for others to read it if they are interested.,

On a thread about repurposing things I mentioned a story I had read some time ago, and then I went and reread it again.

the story was

"When Autumn Leaves Fall" by Andrew Zarowny

It is available to read online starting at this link:
http://azarowny.tripod.com/Chapter1.html

A short synopsys is that this fellow who is good at repurposing stuff and making things and such moves to rural area and builds himself a self reliant life.

economy collapses

He helps folks manage, and we get to see one way a collapse may work out.

only limited amount of guns, lot of story, PAW, and some rebuilding, and fairly hopeful.

Libertarian type mindset more or less.

As this story has been around a long time many may have already read it but for those who haven't the link takes you to the first chapter and the bottom of each page to the next page.

Doesn't cost anything to hop over and read a bit if your bored, if you don't care that's cool also.

If ya'll don't want me posting my random reading findings, let me know and I'll stop. No promises when I'll post, but when I find em I'll share em.

Also please share the ones ya'll find.

If you can't tell I hunt up stuff to read so I don't drive our own authors crazy with my MOAR's lol

Ya know after reading in that story a bit I realize that either by accident or as a result of it I moved myself towards a intentional peasant lifestyle over the years. different but similar.

And

the small community thing, well I like to credit mel tappan's book tappan on survival for that choice.

As for kurt saxon, well I will say I read a lot of his stuff, but don t always see eye to eye with that, no with the libertarians.

Guess Im just a galt peasant at heart. LOL

Sorry siskiyoumom, I turn off pop ups in my firefox so did not notice them.

between settings there and noscript I don't get much distraction unless I'm thinking to look for it.

Wasn't on purpose.
