Wow, I'm shocked. Argentine conservative.

Pope Francis.

Alludement to Saint Francis perhaps?

He's not impressed by titles. In fact, he rides the bus with everyone else in town, not taking any formality. He grew up as a commoner. As Cardinal, Bergoglio became known for personal humility, doctrinal conservatism and a commitment to social justice. A simple lifestyle has contributed to his reputation for humility. He lives in a small apartment, rather than in the palatial bishop's residence. He gave up his chauffeured limousine in favor of public transportation, and he reportedly cooks his own meals.

Probably the most like the personality of John Paul II than the other candidates.

So how does he fit Malachy prophecy? Does this mean we are all set if we dodge the Mayans and the Pope Prophecy?

About Jesuit conspiracies, according to Wikipedia:

Many anti-Jesuit conspiracy theories emerged in the 18th century Enlightenment, as a result of an alleged rivalry between the Freemasons and the pious Jesuits. Intellectual attacks on Jesuits were seen as an efficient rebuttal to the anti-masonry promoted by conservatives, and this ideological conspiracy pattern persisted into the 19th century as an important component of French anti-clericalism. It was, however, largely confined to political elites until the 1840s, when it entered the popular imagination through the writings of the historians Jules Michelet and Edgar Quinet of the Collège de France, who declared "la guerre aux jesuites", and the novelist Eugène Sue, who in his best-seller Le Juif errant, depicted the Jesuits as a "secret society bent on world domination by all available means".[2] Sue's heroine, Adrienne de Cardoville, said that she could not think about Jesuits "without ideas of darkness, of venom and of nasty black reptiles being involuntarily aroused in me"

And:

A notable source of modern conspiracy theories involving the Jesuits is Vatican Assassins by Eric Jon Phelps, which claims that the Jesuit Superior General, or "Black Pope", is responsible for various intrigues in American foreign policy.[

Not saying it means anything, but it's interesting. You can read more here:

76% of Catholics are in Latin America and Carribbean, so it is only fitting that they selected someone that identifies with them. He's chosen Saint Francis as his name sake, so the association on his government will be humility, and common-ness. He isn't one to bask in glory, limelight, frills and pomp.

While I do not think that he will purposefully fullfill Malachy's prophecy, it may be the times we live in that aid that fullfillment. If he is the last Pope, he will have much to deal with. Malachy's prophecy does not say he is evil, it says that he goes through much dispair persecution. So who knows what the years ahead hold. Many of us on these boards already know whatever is coming, isn't good.

Petrus Romanus simply means Peter the Roman. It didn't need to be the name, or nationality that he fullfills it, but by the characteristics. Who was Peter? What was he like? Will Pope Francis, in humility and faithfullness, attempt to guide Christians through a tribulation in a manner much like Peter guided those who were persecuted, like himself, onto death for their faith?

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].
Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End.[13]

Hrm, Argentine. That seems fitting, that means he's probably familiar with economic collapse and government takeover of funds. Ferfal will be proud.

The Jesuits already run the US and most of the organized global education systems, this goes right in line with the NWO agenda.

The Jesuits effectively replaced the Templars, after the Avignon pope excommunicated the templars so that the King of France could confiscate the Templar gold...which seems to have disappeared..

I have the UTMOST respect for members of SJ, and for those educated and trained by them in schools of thought.

The Jesuits teach how one uses information in terms of how to think. they don't teach WHAT to think, just how to evaluate information, etc...

While I was educated by Xaverians, I have experience with Jesuits as pastors etc...

And I have enjoyed crossing educational swords with several...the losses ALWAYS gave me insights....

Now have read much about the Jesuits and have heard much that is Not Good! Now just hearing that he is a Jesuit does make me really wonder. How much have the Jesuits in history been behind the persecution of the real believers thru the centuries. Now had to look that up of what the head of the Jesuits is called ..... and it is 'the Black Pope', which I just find interesting!

He looks kind. All this time I expected someone sour, I don't know why. Whether these are the end times or not, I hope this is a man that can lead his church in a better direction.

Said eloquently by a friend of mine: "Just to be clear, there is only ONE Holy Father, and He didn't obtain that distinction through an election."

Amen to that.

Also to add that God said NOT to call any earthly male by the name of Father as God is the only Father....(or something like that)
