CRIME Has anyone noticed you aren't just a criminal anymore, you are a terrorist?

That more and more common criminals are being charged with "making terroristic threats"?

In this article, a common thug who beat up his gf's kids had been previously charged with making terroristic threats.

A Clarke County grand jury indicted Lomas a little over a week ago for another incident in which he repeatedly left voice mail messages in which he threatened to murder a man and the man’s grandmother.
“Making terroristic threats then inflicting severe injuries on the children like that, he just needs to be in jail and away from the general public,” Athens-Clarke police Capt. Clarence Holeman said Friday afternoon.

Only if they are not muslims, if they are muslims they are just common criminals. Can't be offending the muslims by calling them terrorists now can we?

Is there a technical definition of 'terroristic', or is it confined to various personal interpretations of 'you know, like unto a terrorist?'
I ask only because I am old school, I guess, and what i think of when I think of 'terrorist' is not the same thing I think of when I think of 'domestic assault' or 'being a dick'.
