GOV/MIL What's everyone's take on all the various Govt agencys stockpiling ammo?

And another one from left field would be ...

All of these agencies are technically the .gov and while they each have separate budgets they are run under a single umbrella once you get far enough up the ladder. There is NOTHING that would prevent them from stockpiling for and then transferring the ammo to another agency at some point in the future. There is also NOTHING that would prevent those storage buildings from being turned into space for some other .gov agency to operate out of.

For all we know DHS could be mandating that various agencies with large budgets bank roll a "sub station" that they will then take over if/when necessary.

Simple answer:

Watch what they do and don't listen to what they say.

Or, as that famous old saying notes:

Actions speak louder than words.

The S is fixing to hit the F. They know it and they are preparing to do anything to maintain their control over us.

It won't work.

They're outnumbered and they represent pure unadulterated evil at every level of the government and the banking system (fed reserve on down).

I have faith that the good people of this nation will eventually forcefully remove the criminal boot from their necks.

IN fact that's the only way the boot is going to be removed. Sociopaths have no conscience and asking them to stop hurting you is like asking a grizzly bear to stop eating you once he starts. It won't work.

We are ruled by predatory creatures who are only human in appearance. Under their skins they are predators with 0 conscience who exist only to prey on weaker beings.

It's gonna get a whole lot worse before it gets any better and there is going to be a culling.

The important thing we should be doing (and I know many here are) is preparing to survive the initial cull.

I think maybe this is the ultimate agenda.

I want to put something out here that has probably not occurred to any of you and that has only recently occurred to me after somewhat getting involved within this community of the younger demographic. I recently started playing a xbox game with my children called mw3 (call of duty, modern warfare 3). At first like any parent I pretty much sucked. I'm in my early 30's and the people who play this game are basically my age and on down into the teens. It took me some time but I have actually become extremely good at this game. I don't really even play or enjoy playing video games, nor do I have the time. But this game is different since it is highly competitive and you play it online against other people.

There are several million people in the U.S. alone that play this game. The virtual warfare, the realism, the tactics used are like a virtual military bootcamp. I personally believe if the gov. put guns in the hands of many of these gamers, they would be able to tactically smoke 95% of everyone on this board, easily. I understand many of you will not believe that statement, but I think its 100% accurate.

Personally, if there is a war coming I would do everything in my power to sit it out. I don't want to be involved in a war, any war. If it so happened to show up at my house, it would be in for a very harsh surprise.

Nah, I disagree as well. Actually shooting in real life versus using a controller is one issue. Humping your own gear, running with it, jumping with it and not getting out of breath after five minutes is something apart from a game. Besides, once the maps are memorized and they know where all the good ambush sites are, the game becomes "gamed".

I'd give paintballers the edge over a bunch of modern warfare junkies. At least the paintballers are out there moving and scooting.

Was having lunch with a friend yeaterday (he is FED law enforcement) and he agreed it is to make the ammo scarce. The gov't can't easily remove guns from people, but they can make ammo practically unavailable. He said it is all being stockpiled in warehouses. Kind of dries up the available supply.

Well, they're buying all that ammo with our tax money..... so it's still ammo that belongs to the people.

Rather than trying to pass a law that limits ammo purchases, I think the govt. is buying up as much of it as they can so it will be difficult to acquire for those of us that buy large amounts.

Now they're classifying the purchase amounts? WTF...:shr:

The DHS’ decision back in March to purchase of 450 million rounds of .40-caliber hollow point bullets that are designed to expand upon entry and cause maximum organ damage prompted questions as to why the federal agency required such powerful bullets and in such large quantities merely for training purposes.

This was followed up by a more recent order for a further 750 million rounds of assorted ammunition, including bullets that can penetrate walls.

I honestly don't know. Have my strong suspicions and have taken my share of flak for them.

But I do know one thing for absolute certain.

uncle ain't bein' honest. 'Bout the ammo purchases and just about everything else.

If there is civil unrest the ammo mfg's might be off-line or the employees may refuse to support the .gov or patriots might not allow easy shipment. Buy early-buy often.

The leading candidate for zero's "civilian army" is DHS, how many hard-core union members would blindly join this group and do whatever they were told?

We have a bunch of ammo, to be produced over 2 years, are there enough extra weapons in inventory to equip this force?

Uniforms? Has there been any large clothing requistions, especially a new type? There will be a bunch of digicam surplus now that the military is going to multicam.

Training? Just having warm bodies in uniform with guns does not a "civilian army" make, they will need at least rudimentary training to keep them on the same sheet of music.
I could see the basics of basic training crammed into 4 weeks. Where would they do this, assuming the military doesn't play along?

I guess it could all happen, but not likely.

They are probably just keeping supplies limited.
This is hard to judge without knowing the ammo purchasing history and doing a good comparison.

I'm with you on this one.

As far as the game goes it may give good tactical training and that may help them think during combat.

But real guns draw real blood and bring real primal fear, not the video game kind. And while that pool of which you speak may be big, historically speaking 90% will turn to wet spaghetti when they are really standing in it.

It is an interesting thought/premise nonetheless.

And there you have it.

They are creating a nightmare with this stockpiling.

It isn't all going to eventually fall into true American's hands.

Saved, to glorify God.
It is IRONIC that the best word to describe these purchases by the government is INDEFENSIBLE!
There is no rational justification to the citizenry, given what information WE have been privy to through the tightly controlled news media.

The most recent one is the Social Security Agency.

This is the only way the government can stockpile ammunition in every town and city. There's a social security in
almost every town, and NOAA goes everywhere as well - These are towns which don't necessarily have any other
Federal presence (i.e., FBI, Army Reserve, etc.)

So...cache ammo everywhere. Great way to ensure the people can be locked-down and controlled in every way.

I think it's all going to the same place. They just divided it up among different agencies according to the monies left in the different budgets. That has to be it because it makes no sense for SS and NOAA to be ordering ammo.

I can see 4 possible scenarios:

1) Get the ammo in shorter supply and at a higher cost for the civilians, which has already been mentioned.
2) Arm a civilian national security force, which also has been mentioned.
3) Anticipation of unrest at the DNC and RNC conventions.
4) Anticipation of civil unrest after the Nov election, whether O gets elected or not.

Samsmom, my bet would be on #4, "Anticipation of civil unrest after the Nov. election, whether O gets elected or not."

Clearly, the PTB as seen in the reaction of the Federal Courts to challenges to 'O's illegibility for the office of President, are seriously worried about racial trouble in the country. Further, one gets the impression that there is not a set of gonads among the Secretaries of State of the various States, the people who must certify that Zero is eligible to be on their ballots. Notwithstanding the serious challenges that have been mounted to that eligibility no one of them is willing to be the one who denies Zero. So, if Zero fails in his attempt to be re-elected it is not unreasonable to expect trouble overflowing into the streets of America.

As for the possibility of the Government trying to deny ammunition and components to the general public, I do NOT see any shortage of ammunition and components available for sale. I will be ordering some myself this afternoon.

As in their hidey-holes underground and in the mountains? Won't be any ammo manufacturers left after TSHFT after all, right? See how prudent they are?

On TB every waking moment
My inside federal LE contact sent me this as a suggestion in an e-mail:

http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml.

The Honorable (Insert Senator's/Congressperson's name here)

I am writing to ask that your office officially look into the massive quantity of small arms ammunition various agencies in the federal government are buying with a 60 day delivery date. These agencies range from Department of Homeland Security to National Weather Service to Social Security Administration. (Why would the Social Security Administration require ANY ammunition, especially 174,000 .357 SIG and 174,000 .40 cal S&W)? .357 SIG is not a standard round for any agency. It is a bottle-necked cartridge (.40 cal casing necked down to a .357 bullet—capable of penetrating most body armor). Add to this “very interesting” order the various agencies NOW buying the below:

• Over one million rounds of hollow-point .223 rifle ammo
• Over half a million rounds of non-hollow-point .223 rifle ammo
• 220,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun #7 ammo (target ammo)
• Over 200,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun #00 buckshot ammo (tactical anti-personnel ammo)
• 66,000 rounds of 12 gauge shotgun slugs (tactical anti-personnel, anti-vehicle rounds)
• Over two million rounds of hollow-point .357 Sig JPH (hollow-point) pistol ammo (anti-personnel)
• Over four million rounds of .40 S&W JPH (hollow-point) pistol ammo (anti-personnel)
• Over 60,000 rounds of .308 match grade anti-personnel sniper rounds (BTHP)
• Plus, hundreds of thousands of additional rounds of .38 special, .45 auto, 9mm, 7.62x39 (AK rifle) ammo, and others.

This is on top of the massive 450 million .40 S&W hollow point rounds the DHS has already requisitioned. (All above can be verifed on government websites regarding contract solicitations).

We need answers to what this is all about, and why now?

What do they know or expect, and when did they decide to act?

Who exactly requires this amount of ammo for civilian agencies (and don’t let them tell you it’s for training...not hollow points).

Keep in mind that the above stockage would provide every single member of the US armed forces with over 400 rounds per person.

Who is REALLY going to use all this? And against who?

Please keep me advised. I am sending a copy of this to selected individuals in other states so that they can make similar inquiries with their respective senators and representatives.

Time is of the essence. I fear this has something to do with anticipated election results or some other event we have not been made aware of.

Sincerely,

(Insert your name and address)
