This is what happened: Those universities thought they'd be all "ecumenical," meaning they wanted muslim $$$$$$$$. They got greedy. This is the result. There happens to be a never-ending Jihad on and it's getting worse all over the world as we speak. What can anyone expect? Islam NEVER changes. So maybe they should tell all the muzzies to leave and refund their money. Like now.
You couldn't be further from the truth.
The university turns hundreds of applicants away each year. They could just as easily select ALL christian students if they wanted, with no loss of revenue. Trying to make everything about the dollars makes you blind to a lot of things.
This is all about religion, not money. This struggle has been going on for more than a thousand years. The Catholic University reached out to all religions in a spirit of Christianity and got its hand bit. This is a mirror of what is happening in all western societies and institutions. They reach out in a spirit of equality to the moslem world and then seem surprised that the moslem world percieves the outreach as a weakness and then takes advantage of it in their never ending jihad against everything non moslem.
We are at war. Our way of life, our values, our whole society is at war with the moslem culture, but we refuse to acknowledge it.
When two societies are at war and only one recognizes that fact, the one that insists on blissful ignorance is doomed.
We are doomed and unless we as a society wake up, we will continue to suffer the death of a thousand cuts as the moslem culture makes one small inroad after another into our way of life.
The same thing is happening with the gay agenda.
Political correctness will eventually overturn society as we know it.
The things we used to think of as good, right, just, are becoming bad, wrong and evil under these politically correct agendas. We are dying one little piece at a time.
I remember a year ago when people on this board were arguing that one state allowing gay marriage was ok. That homosexuals should have the right to marry and it was nobody elses business. Well in just a year it's gone from having the right to marry to mayors of cities telling business owners that if they don't support gay marriage they are not welcome in their city. You can't close your eyes in this battle and say I don't care as long as it doesn't bother me, because no matter what you think, it will soon affect you.
