Shoot back.

Lots easier to spot a car full of bullet holes especially if it is leaving a trail of blood from the occupant.

It said "Unsuspecting". Shooting back is alot easier said than done. Who expects to be walking their dog or working in their lawn and a passing motorist just randomly decides to shoot you? I hope they catch this freak soon.

I'm not finding an update at the original link, but Sac Bee has this, and it would be an update now, as it's pacific time for them:

Police: 3 shot in Miami after man visits family
The Associated Press

MIAMI -- Miami police say they are searching for a man who they say has shot at least three people.

Detective William Moreno said Sunday that 23-year-old Erin Cash is wanted on charges of attempted murder. Moreno says Cash was driving when a woman jumped out of the car, and he then continued on to visit relatives with a child in the car with him. The woman was not identified, but Moreno described the incident as a domestic violence situation.

Cash then went to visit family members and started shooting, wounding at least three people. The shooting victims have not been identified, and their conditions were not immediately known.

Small update at the original link, guess they're still looking for him:

Authorities continue searching for a gunman who shot three people in Northwest Miami Sunday.

Miami Police issued a lookout alert for 23-year-old Erin Cash around noon, for a "suspect randomly driving around shooting at victims," according to a release.

The incident began as a domestic dispute when Cash and a woman riding in his car got into an argument, police said. The women threw herself out of the car, but a toddler remained inside the vehicle, Miami Police said.

Cash then went to the home of the woman's relatives for revenge, shooting three. Two of the victims were relatives of the woman.

The baby was found safe inside the home of a grandparent, police said.

Police said the injuries suffered by the victims were non-life-threatening.

"Me." for one.

Maybe my springs are wound too tight but I walk around on a minimum of 'Yellow Alert' 24/7.

Better to burn out than fade away.

Still haven't caught him. This was an update around 5:30 pm.

Miami Police issued a lookout alert for 23-year-old Erin Cash around noon, for a "suspect randomly driving around shooting at victims," according to a release.

The incident began as a domestic dispute when Cash and his girlfriend got into an argument, police said. Officials said their 3-year-old son was inside this white Pontiac as Cash beat up the child's mother.

"He said that he was going to kill her, the mother and the child," said public information officer William Moreno. "Secondly, he has told her that he's not going down without a fight."

The girlfriend threw herself out of the car and Cash took off with their toddler, planning to make good on some of his threats, police said.

"He was driving around, he's been going to different family members' homes and shooting at victims randomly," Moreno said.

Cash allegedly made a target of his girlfriend's two brothers, driving to different locations until he found them - and then shot them. He then aimed for a third person but hurt an innocent bystander instead.

The suspect spared his 3-year-old son, dropping him off at his grandmother's home where he was later found safe.

This is where he also abandoned his car.

It's unclear if the child accompanied his father on the shooting spree.

Cash's face is now plastered on wanted posters in Northwest Miami, wanted - this time - for attempted murder.

However, this is not Cash's first time around the block, his lengthy rap sheet lists more than a dozen felony charges including attempted murder - some of which were dismissed - many others he was never tried for. His last known address is 1255 NW 72 Street in Miami.

"We consider him to be really dangerous. He's shown motive luckily no one injured seriously," Moreno said.

Police said the injuries suffered by the victims were non-life-threatening.

I think you'll find that he's studying to be a doctor . . . or brain surgeon - so, everything's going to be okey dokey.

He is 23 and has "more than a dozen felonies"? Why do we even have a "justice system"?

We need to ban the use of cars.... obviously. I am tired of these reports of terrorists driving assault cars.

He may not look too smart, but at least he did not start eating anyone's face.

Miami Shooting Rampage Suspect Caught: Police
Suspect behind triple shooting arrested in Port St. Lucie: Authorities

By Brian Hamacher
Tuesday, Jul 31, 2012 | Updated 10:07 AM EDT

The gunman who police say went on a shooting rampage in Liberty City Sunday that sent three people to the hospital has been arrested in Port St. Lucie, authorities said.

Erin Cash, 23, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Wednesday evening in the 600 block of Southwest Maccomb Avenue, according to an arrest affidavit released Tuesday.

The details of the arrest are unknown. Cash was being held without bond and it was unknown whether he has an attorney.

Cash is facing three counts of attempted murder, aggravated battery, kidnapping and carjacking charges in the incident that began Sunday morning.

Miami Police say Cash got into an argument while driving with his girlfriend and their three-year-old son. Fearing for her life, Cash's girlfriend jumped out of the car and Cash took off with their son, police said.

Cash later showed up at his girlfriend's Liberty City home and began targeting her relatives at multiple locations in the same neighborhood. Investigators say Cash shot his girlfriend's two brothers, and targeted a third relative, but shot someone else instead.

At some point, Cash went to his mother's home and dropped off his son. The child was not harmed and that the three people who were shot are expected to recover, police said.
