HEALTH ALLDAY CHEMIST ORDER won't go through/Bank is down?

Kathy in WV

Down on the Farm...
Just trying to place an order for a few things but got a notice that their banks computer is down. Does this mean anything or is it just a fluke? Where is Alldaychemist located anyway?

Anybody else done an order there successfully today?

It was this way last week when I tried to order as well---wouldn't even go to the page so I could enter my credit card number, so then I contacted their customer support chat line and they said they were having troubles with the payment or financial pages on their site.

I then took a risk (based on testimony of those here who've used them & said they're trustworthy) and gave the cust. support rep my credit card info over the cust. support line---and then my credit card company wouldn't honor it.

Then then gave me name and address to send a check to--but instead of making it out to the company they want me to make it out to an individual person's name (Indian name) and send it to an Indian address (All Day Chemist is not part of the address name).

I contacted a member who uses them all the time and asked if this was normal, and she said yes. I'm still a little unsure, however, and still have not sent the check.

They're in India.

You can email them, they are pretty quick about responding.

I could never get a cc to go through, so I mailed a money order. went smoothly, just added a week to the wait.

Countrymouse, I sent the money order payable tot hat person, got the order no problem.

FYI- they say you can wire the money, which I considered doing, but when I went, I was told you cannot send western union wire toIndia, not allowed. Not sure if that's true or not, but what I was told when I tried...

I would not do a personal check, but I'm weird like that.

Just had a thread on here that the gov. will no longer allow US citizens to order meds outside of the country. May already be in action.

Try Best Life RX....also from India....I ordered about a week ago and got notice that it was on it's way. This is my 3rd order from them and it's been good with no problems.

I've dealt with them extensively. I always send them a check (made out to Derric) and have never had a problem. I think the out-of-country ban was just for Canadian pharmacies. I could be wrong about that, but ADC has always been straightforward with me.

Best Life Rx has had some problems with inert medications. I have not experienced this since I do not do business with them, but a web search turned up some questionable info. Just sayin'.

Given what I'm reading on Main re the US, Russia, and Syria, I'm not sure if we have TIME for an order to get here if it did order it today...

IF you feel the push to order it, go ahead. IF you are going to need it, trust that God will make sure you have it when needed. It's all you can do. :D

You really never know when in june, july, or december things are going to happen.

Well carp. ADC is the only way we can afford DH's asthma inhalers. Glad I got enough to run him through the end of the year last time I ordered.

6 months worth of inhalers (2 different kinds) at ADC = around $100.00, shipping included

1 month at the pharmacy = $300.00

Breathing is important, but what the heck do you do when you can't afford to breathe? (that's a rhetorical question)

I've been with them 3 years and have not had a problem.

I placed an order the other day, then wanted to add something to the order. I emailed them and they emailed me back with a US phone number to call to give them my credit card info. I called, got a message and within 2 hrs they called me back. Here is the phone number:

I got a greendot visa from walmart ($3) and after I got the "official" card about a week later, I called and activated it and my order from ADC went through without a hitch.

Prior to that, my bank's visa kept declining.

This order that I just (literally today) received, my bank's visa went through without a problem so...who knows!

I put in an order with adp last week with no problems. Got an email the next day saying the order was in dispensing. I'm expecting an email saying it has shipped, any day now.

You can call the number on your credit card, give the name/address of whoever you're ordering from and direct Visa/Mastercard to accept that order up to a limit of $$$. They will probably charge you a "foreign transaction fee" for an order outside the US.

Great idea instead of using your main credit card. Is a green dot visa like a prepaid card??

That is so weird. I order from Abebooks all the time, and have books shipped that are coming from sellers in England---and my credit card has never had a problem with that. Is it only certain countries that trip them off?

why is this on main????

Try to use a walmart green dot visa prepaid card. No rish to youe "real" card numbers.
For some reason visa is accepted more places

Mastercard has REAL issues with overseas pharmacies- they just won't let you use a mastercard at them. Very frustrating!!

However, someone at TTOL (IIRC) bought a prepaid Visa card and wasn't able to use it for ADC.. they were told they needed an "international" Visa card, and that couldn't be anonymous...

Yes, the green dot card is a prepaid visa. After you register the card, a permanent card comes in the mail about a week later with your name on it, etc. and it works just like a regular visa. The temporary card, for the first week, does not work with all day chemist. Once the new "real" card comes in the mail, and you register it by phone, it works fine.

For me it was a "regular" Visa -- but the problem was their website, it wouldn't even let me go on the page to even ENTER the card info---something was screwy with the website. I may still have to call them & tell them it's ok.

All Day Chemist told me their company is in India, but their bank is in China.

We've ordered twice using a debit card from a major bank

with no problems except that it takes longer than the eight days advertised. This may be due to the fact that the VISA debit card is used rather than a traditional cc.

Their CONUS phone # is an L.A. exchange but both of our orders have passed through N.Y.C. on their way from India.
