Did the president just make an oral sex joke? Barack quips that Michelle 'doesn't go all the way down'
By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

Was that a double entendre, Mr President?
At a fundraiser in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, Barack Obama made a joke that could be interpreted as a reference to the First Lady's oral sex skills.
The president was talking about how Michelle was better at push-ups than he was when he added: 'because she doesn't go all the way down.'

Double entendre: President Barack Obama made the joke, which inspired cackles from his audience, during a fundraiser in Los Angeles on Wednesday
According to a press pool report from the Dallas Morning News, Obama let the line hang, 'naughtily,' as the crowd broke into laughter.
Political reporters immediately picked up on the obscene reference.
'I hope @MichelleObama yells at @BarackObama tonight. Or at least withholds pushups,' twteeted Meredith Shiner, a reporter for Roll Call.

The president was referring to an appearance on the 'Ellen DeGeneres Show' in February in which the First Lady challenged DeGeneres to a push-up contest.

The official transcript of the speech doesn't include the joke.
It says: 'I want to thank my wonderful friend who accepts a little bit of teasing about Michelle beating her in pushups -- (laughter) -- but I think she claims Michelle didn’t go all the way down. (Laughter.)
'That's what I heard. I just want to set the record straight -- Michelle outdoes me in pushups as well. (Laughter.) So she shouldn’t feel bad. She's an extraordinary talent and she's just a dear, dear friend -- Ellen DeGeneres. Give Ellen a big round of applause.'
The White House has not commented on whether Obama went off-script and bungled the joke or if the pool reporter misquoted him.

Given what we've read about the President's sexual preferences (at least in the past), he probably doesn't care if he's "in the doghouse" with Michelle or not---because he probably doesn't sleep with her anyway.

Is bamma still doing drugs? A US president making such a statement seems to be so crazy that I think it's quite possible. Remember, he said in his book he smoked dope and did crack.

He never went to rehab.

Well, anything can be 'dirty' in context but as far as the joke-if she did 'go all the way down', as if it were a normal-sized person, she'd be eating the pillow and suffocate.

Kind of like trying to compare a Skittle to a full-sized 3Musketeers.

ooh! Did I say 'Skittle'?

God has a plan, Trust it!
Even with all the silly things Bush said in his term, can you imagine him ever saying something like that about Laura?

Class and respect are things you can't buy. It just is a part of you or not.

To be honest I doubt the slur was intentional ... but it does go to show that BHO lacks empathy and the ability to understand how his words are taken.

He seemed happy with the response he got. I guess the tele-prompter-N-Chief thought he was putting the dirty into dirty liberal.

I heard the actual audio on Rush...

Obama was DEFINITELY aiming for the sexual angle on it.

It was definitely intentional - Kathy is in "some" shock that a president of the United States of America would make such a filthy joke involving his wife just to raise money . . . what does that make him!

He brings shame on the Office to which he was (s)elected at every possible turn and in some ways that we could never have contemplated, such as this one.

I would not piss on him if he were on fire.

It's not his fault. The prompter told him to say it!
What does he care about the dignity of the office? He cheated to get it, like he has cheated on everything else his whole life.

Locker room humor from a president speaking publicly just shows he has no class at all.
He is a disgrace to the country.
He has lowered the morals and standards of this country in the eyes of the world.

Since 0mugabe is a homosexual, and in a crowd of similar perverts, he felt right at home, plus he wants their money and adoration. He knew exactly what he was saying. He's a sick, demented, perverted, lying, demoniac illegal alien.

Class shows as does the lack thereof. He knew exactly the context in which his words would be taken as do most people who make coarse jokes such as this. He is classless, at best.

Barak goes all the way down, no doubt.

20 - 25 % of Americans are offended by this.

75 - 80% find it humorous and think it reflects "their world" and "their culture". They think the better of him for it.

This is how I see American culture.

It is sick.

Well, if I'm wrong I'm wrong. I should have listened to the audio before commenting. That's what I get for working on a couple of roofs in the rain, talk about a beat down. Just sounds like such a dense thing for any man to do much less do as publicly as he did. Or maybe I am crediting him with actually being a real man ... hmm, that is a thought.

I didn't listen to him or the audience, but knowing his lowlife druggie/homo background, and who the audience was (bunch of perverts), it's clear he knew what he was saying and its other meaning.

Our first "Springer" president. What a departure from Bush. Love him or hate him, the man was ALWAYS in a suit, and both he and Laura were always dignified as befitted the office of President. Obama has brought the office to historic lows in terms of dignity, decorum and class. And the "First Bitch" has done exactly the same thing. Disgusting low-life scum. Chicago ghetto ******s....

Odd comments - no matter HOW they were intended by the current WH occupant.

The sooner he's voted out of office, the better.

Can't stop asking the question - Exactly WHAT part of the last 3-1/2 years does any voter possibly want 4 more years of???

After the strange way he dismissed his family at his Grant Park anointing and his “we’re the one we’ve been waiting for” comment, I’ve always felt he was one warped individual.

Dissing his wife with such a crud joke, just reinforces my feelings that his marriage is for show only and there is something drastically out of whack with this strange man.

"Nope. Nothing is wrong with me. My brain has been recalibrated for my re-election

something out of sync, well, I'm sure a minor adjustment will bring me up to speed."

There is NO joke without the sexual angle. The pimps bleating that the "joke" is the right wing fantasy are just nuts.

This was very crass for a comedian at a presidential roast, but for the president and about the first lady is just a jaw dropper. A little glimpse into the character of the man. If my husband said that about me at a world-viewed public gathering, I'd probably slap him silly. But then, he never would.

I agree - 75-80% of Americans don't want this sort of thing on the world internet going round and round. It's uncommonly vulgar in any setting and for a sitting president, just a head shaker.

Those who would find it funny are already firmly in his camp, he could only lose supporters with this. All the little squirmers going round saying he didn't mean it are the same ones who say he didn't mean it when he said "I am one of yOu" in the Turkish Mosque. Always he says the thing and they say he didn't mean it.... what a sick group.
