Media Matters has compiled the following list of companies advertising on The Rush Limbaugh Show as compiled from the program's WABC airing, as well as companies who have announced that they will no longer advertise on the show in the wake of his misogynistic attacks on Sandra Fluke. As many stations that carry the show air ads from local companies, this list should not be considered comprehensive.

I think much of this list was compiled by listening to his program and note who did not appear on the sponsor list for that day. Thus their non-appearance could be an accident or deliberate.

Sears and Allstate issued statements Monday after their ads appeared on Limbaugh's syndicated program. Sears Holding Corp., which operates Sears and K mart, tweeted that it did not "intentionally" advertise on Limbaugh's program, and is taking steps to make sure its ads don't run on the show. Allstate said in a Facebook post its ads were "mistakenly" placed on the program.

Today, the pro-Gingrich super PAC Winning Our Future is still advertising on the Limbaugh show. Gingrich said yesterday on Sunday talk shows that he believes Limbaugh did the right thing by apologizing.

AOL, Tax Resolution Services, Pro Flowers, Quicken Loans, Sleep Train, Sleep Number, Citrix Systems Inc., Carbonite and Legal Zoom have all pulled their advertising from Limbaugh's show, according to the Associated Press.

GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul, appearing Sunday on CBS' Face the Nation, said he didn't believe Limbaugh was sincere in his apology. "I don't think he's very apologetic," the Texas congressman said. "He's doing it because some advertisers took their advertisements off his program. It's his bottom line that he was concerned about."

Clear Channel's Premiere Radio Networks has Limbaugh on contract through 2016. The AP says the company stands by Limbaugh.

"The contraception debate is one that sparks strong emotion and opinions on both sides of the issue," Premiere Networks said in a statement e-mailed to AP on Sunday. "We respect the right of Mr. Limbaugh, as well as the rights of those who disagree with him, to express those opinions."

Out of curiosity, who sponsors some some of those guys on cable who have called Sarah Palin such names and, while we are on it, who sponsors Howard Stern? He gets paid to say such things practically daily!

We've already cancelled Carbonite and we had five computers running it. I've already emailed all of those other companies as well. We cancelled the Sears charge account we had and will no longer use any of their stores or products for anything. We stopped using Craftsman when they started changing their warranty and no longer replace with that brand. I emailed Proflowers and told them I was sorry that my husband had used them to send me flowers for Valentines and you can bet it would never happen again, nor would we ever use their services again. Sleep number is a dying company anyway and the only business they got that I'm aware of is from their mall store fronts which are closing left and right and referrals from RL's show. I've sent off emails to every one of the companies on that list.

Freedom of speech? Yeah, well while I still have it I'll use my freedoms to choose someone else to do business with.

And for the companies like Legal Zoom and Carbonite, I made it quite clear that I no longer could trust them not to spill my private information to others since they caved so quickly over an issue where the female in question is turning out to be something completely different than what she was being billed as.

I have used pro flowers for several years, NEVER AGAIN!

We were using carbonite for a little over a year and cancelled them three months ago, will never again use them!

Didn't use any of his other previous sponsors, but will go out of my way to make sure I never do!

well I am goofy today!

Shari's Berries is part of pro flowers, so screw them too!

My hubby used to send these to his sister (she's 14 years older than him so almost like a 2nd mom) but no more. Uh uh, I'll hand dip them myself or get them from Alessi's bakery around here.

As bad the economy is and as bad as I will feel for the employs of those companies, I hope each and every one of the CEOs that OK'd the dropping of the advert spots gets a very serious kick in the slats over this. I wouldn't trust any of them with my personal and private information again ... especially not two companies like Carbonite or Legal Zoom.

If you're looking for a replacement for Carbonite, try CrashPlan. Very similar in it's operation and you can also run it like I do for free. Using servers that you own and control. Plus it runs on Linux... :spns:

I have to agree. I have been a strong advocate for Sears for years as I felt that they were a good store but this time they have crossed a line.

I was getting uncomfortable with them when I noticed that all the signs in the store were changed from English to Spanish. I live in a predominantly white / Jewish area.
What was going on?

This just pushed it over the top.

Many if not most of the adverts will return with their collective tails between their legs.

But a few choice words to the various advertisers might be in order.

Thank you Troke. Good to know that the only one I used was Proflowers. I wil drop them and encourage my son, who is busy courting a young lady, to do so also. We were looking into having them do DD's wedding. We'll just save some time and move on now.

"Sledgehammer": Peter Gabriel joins Rush revolt
As advertisers, affiliates and the general public continue to raise cain over Rush Limbaugh’s inflammatory comments about Sandra Fluke, another party has added his voice to the protest. A rep for singer/songwriter Peter Gabriel posted a message on his Facebook page insisting that the Brit's music no longer be used on Limbaugh’s radio show. Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” was utilized in the background of Limbaugh’s now-infamous rant, in which he called the Georgetown student a “slut” and a “prostitute.” The Facebook message reads: “Peter was appalled to learn that his music was linked to Rush Limbaugh’s extraordinary attack on Sandra Fluke. It is obvious from anyone that knows Peter’s work that he would never approve such a use. He has asked his representatives to make sure his music is withdrawn and especially from these unfair aggressive and ignorant comments.” As of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, the message had received more than 5,700 “Likes” on Facebook, as well as 1,200 “Shares” and 1,000 responses.

Bear in mind folks, the recent attacks on our Constitutional Freedoms, Liberties and Way of Life-do none of you find it the least bit interesting that this is happening now? And to a RINO? It stinks of setup, especially with the timing-the day before Breitbart mysteriously dies. All the big names pulling advertising from him-he's said far worse with less furvor, as have others is odd and the huge media circus surrounding this seems over the top.

I've said before that rush works for the liberal "democrat" globalists, he never broke anything big, never put his ass on the line, he withdrew his show months before klinton was elected because it was too successful, people were apparently happy that someone who didn't sound like a communist had a tv show. Seems he strongly pushed perot who turned out to be a klinton employee with the health care issue (well scrubbed from the net, almost impossible to find data on it now). So, suspend your belief that he's a good guy and one of us and ask yourself why he would do such a thing and why NOW?

As to people writing to tell the heads of corporations they will no longer use their products because they do not agree with their politics or who they donate money to, that is a good thing-liberal communists have been using that method for a long time, I've been encouraging people here and at home to do the same-if they are someone you like and use, and see under attack, write them with your support to offset the negative they are getting. It's good to get involved.

I just looked at a photo of the woman in question-my gaydar is engaged.

Allstate is a bunch of crooks and Sears is a loser along with their Kmart merger. Rush is right. And if you want to talk about losers just look at what DC has done.

Oh my goodness, another thread!!!! First people justify Rush's comments by saying "they did it too". Now Rush, who makes clear his stance tworards the issue hasnt changed, but just apologizes for being rude and out of line. Now people want to ban his advertiser's, not because they disagree with his stance, they disagree with his harsh words. Even Rush has apologized and admitted he crossed the line. I think some folks just "get off" on division. Acting childlike, Rush's advertisers and Rush are damned if they do or damned if they don't.

My take any business, don't advertise on any program that is anywhere near political, cause you could get caught up. People playing politics have a desperate need to act like little children.

The left and the right has a ton of emotional babies. I mean no disrespect to babies as were just born and have not much to do but learn. For some reason I dont expect many older folks are going to do the same.

And you are buying into the left's spin on this completely rather than on the real issues.

Do you do this on purpose because you have something against freedom of speech and freedom of religion or because you don't see the real issues?

I hoping this isn't a dupe because my reply didn't go through. I have briefed my response to 2 sentences.

Rush's comments clouded the real issue, he realized that and apologized. why folks dont wanna let go of that, i dont know.

I could hardly care less about Rush. He's a big boy and can take care of himself. My concern is infringment on my rights as a citizen of this country and the governments overstepping. And just as all those liberal hipocritical whiners did when they exercised their rights, I will exercise mine in not patronizing the companies that made a bad business decision (IMHO) and withdrew their advertising dollars. I just hope they don't come back to John Q. Public looking for a bailout because their business took a dive!

"Rush's comments clouded the real issue, he realized that and apologized. why folks dont wanna let go of that, i dont know."

Which issue did it cloud, because I've seen it being used to shine the light on the truth? Sandra was one of the people who could have been chosen originally to testify. At the last minute, well after the deadline for submitting their choice, they wanted to have her instead of the person they chose. Not having complied with the process, they were refused. That allowed them, and their media cohorts, to whine and cry about how there were no women testifying. The dems proceded to hold their own mock hearing. Then we find out she targeted Georgetown and their insurance. She is not an employee, but is there of her own free will. She could have chosen another college. We've also found out that she has a history of activism. She believes that surgery and hormone treatment for sex changes should be covered, and if not people should sue so it's not just "contraception" she wants covered. She has also refereed to herself as a slut by being involved with "Slut Walk." (Currently can't find that reference, but it was exposed on FreeRepublic.) Now, my question is this- how many years did they work on the health care bill to suddenly have it ready to go with O getting into office, and how long did they have to plan this set up? I'm guessing years and it has Pelosi written all over it. If Rush hadn't called her what she already called herself, we'd probably have not heard nearly as much about her and have our eyes as opened. The conservatives need to wake up and start fighting back.

Am Dropping Carbonite

Carbonite was the only company in the list that we have been doing business with. I advised them yesterday of my desire to discontinue our subscription to their service because of their commercial retaliation against Rush Limbaugh. I asked for guidance in discontinuing the relationship - return of our unused portion of our pre-paid subscription.

I have no wish to pay for Ms. Flukes, and her friends, permiscurity. Further, it is a matter of religious freedom for a Jesuit university to not include birth control pills in its health plans.

Ms. Fluke knew, or should have known, of the Catholic Church's prohibition, as a matter of faith, of birth control. She chose to jump into that environment, and she should have learned that her decisions have consequences.

That the owner of Carbonite took her side in this matter reveals a lack of understanding of the matter, and is irresponsible. I have no desire to support such ignorance.

Oh good gracious. Carbonite did not 'take her side.' Rather, Carbonite did not want their brand name associated with a stooge who calls a woman a whore and a prostitute on a nationally broadcast radio show. This is so far from supporting the woman's causes.

They caved to the pressure. And pretty doggone quickly. Doesn't make me all that comfortable about their stance should anyone else come calling and saying let us into your files so we can investigate x, y, or z. I just don't think they have enough spine and therefore withdrew my business from them.

What do you call it when Bill Maher does it?

What do you call it when Bill Maher is one of President Shitwad's biggest contributors?

When Maher does what? I have no clue what you are talking about. What does Maher have to do with Carbonite's decision?

What do you call it when Bill Maher is one of President [Obama's]... biggest contributors?

Reading his audience well? Putting his money where he thinks it will do the most good? Supporting a candidate in which he believes?

What do you call it when the billionaires who support Santorum, Gingrich, and Romney contribute to their candidate's cause? Who cares what we call it? The billionaires certainly could not care less about you or me. Again, what does this have to do with Carbonite's decision to stop supporting that pile of shit wrapped in skin called Rush Limbaugh.

Wrong, the owner DID take Ms. Flukes side in the matter. He attributed his attitude to the fact that he had two college age daughters, and he "understood" their problems, i.e,. inferring birth control pills.

It is what it is!

..'tis a two-edged sword...

On Saturday, Carbonite CEO David Friend released a statement on his company’s website declaring that Carbonite had decided to “withdraw” advertising from Rush Limbaugh’s radio show in the wake of his controversial remarks involving Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke because it will “ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse”:

Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have already withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.

However, it hasn’t done much to contribute to his company’s stock price. Since the market opened on Monday through its close today, Carbonite stock (NASDAQ:CARB) has plummeted nearly 12 percent, outpacing the drop of the NASDAQ index in that same time period by nine-and-a-half points. It was also one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ on Tuesday.

One little question. There are so many "good" Christians on this board, as evidenced the above posts. What would YOU do/say/or feel if it was YOUR daughter being called a SLUT and a PROSTITUTE on a national radio station? One that is listened to by a large number of people, and is sure to cause just such a reaction? I know that, being the Mother of two male children, I imagine that I would be LIVID beyond belief.

I tried to start a sane and reasonable discussion about family planning and birth control; one with no personal attacks on anyone's faith or belief systems. One that looks at the realities of the world we live in - not the one we'd all like to live in again. Dennis moved it to TIO within 5 minutes of my posting it. We have to stop hating on each other all the time and accept that each of us has a different view on things, and that that is okay. But it is NEVER okay to publicly SLANDER a college age girl by calling her a slut and a prostitute on a national radio program, NEVER. Surely, we can all agree to that. Please, please, in these horrid social times, before we speak, why don't we always think, "what if it were me or mine"? and let the answer to that question guide our answer. Let's not just be good Christians on Sundays in Church; let's be good ones every day. And the truth is, if it were you or your daughter, you would be seeing red like never, ever before. He was so out of line, his show should have been cancelled.

Particularly if that is how I found out that is precisely what she is as the dictionary defines it? I'd feel real bad.

This "college age girl" is a thirty year old unmarried woman who publicly demanded that the rest of us pay for her birth control. If my daughter had done this, I would be horrified.
