Has No Life - Lives on TB
Following an earthquake early warning system on twitter. It sends out an alert based on the p-wave detection. Pretty unreal seeing it before it happens or is talked about.

I think CNN is live again.
Time stamp showing 13:06 which I believe is Japan local time.

Not to mention that the Japanese Diet would have to legalize hari kari for PM Kan, his entire cabinet and the senior execs of TEPCO, at a minimum.
I never saw a earthquake warning read on the air before.
And then the actual earthquake.
Very cool!
There's another one ??? This is 4 minutes ago.

I believe No. 3 is in the foreground and No. 4 is in the background.
I suspect that seeing the word "abandoned" in multiple headlines has gotten to the folks at TEPCO.

I hope to learn their names some day...
Yep.. now is the time for breathing... coffee.. bio breaks... enjoy the "peace" while it lasts...
Or until I make dinner for DW. Three days in a row now and another shoe drops.
Tomorrow she gets a bag of chips and that's it!

What's for dinner?
I quit. Last couple of days there is A Major World Incident when I cook.
Beef jerky and a Miller High Life from now on.
I gotta say, I can't take much more of this crap. As was stated in an earlier post on this thread, if a Sci-fi movie were proposed using this as the script, it would never be made. NO ONE would believe it. And yet every day (and in some cases every hour) we're seeing a larger disaster unfold. My nerves are absolutely shot. And I'm not kidding.

A little bit of thread drift, but my Nukalert is now sounding off one chirp about every ten to twenty seconds or so. It is sitting on a window sill (window is open); this unit has never alerted before.
