I don't recall McCain slandering other servicemen like Kerry and Murtha did. Apparently that kind of thing sells on the east coast. I feel the same as Dennis. I don't rejoice in his suffering or death, but am relieved to have him out of congress.

AFA the gall bladder surgery, as we get older, any surgery becomes more likely to become problematic. I have known of more than one person whose surgery was simple and went well, but then developed an infection afterward and never recovered. Those resistant bugs are very bad, and they seem to hang out in hospitals.

I didn't wish him dead, but I did wish him gone. Guess he was in a situation where "gone" was deemed to equal "dead" by the Lord in how he willed the situation concluded.

Now if Pennsylvania could only be rid of that outright crook Paul Kanjorski and the traitorous to his supporters Arlen Specter.

You might not like the guy's politics but he has a right to his views and I agreed with a fair number of them. I might also add that anyone who rejoices in the death of another then this speaks much about the character of the person who is happy. I despise Obama, Bush and many of that cabal but I wouldn't rejoice at their passing. They have a judge to face that sees things much clearer than we do.

HF he was an enemy to what I believe in and what I stand for. I am always happy when an enemy is removed from play be it by death, withdrawal from the field of battle, or any other means. I am sure there are people who loved, liked, or even cherished his friendship I am not one of those. I am a wonderful friend and a mother frakker as an enemy.

I'm disappointed that he kicked the bucket. I was hoping he would've instead died in jail for his corruption. Or hung for his treason against America.

I do feel sad for the family. On the other hand I can't be sad that a source of evil is gone from the world. As a Christian it's often difficult to harmonize the commands to love the sinner but hate the sin, especially when a wicked behavior so typifies the life of the person in question. I'm sure that Edward Kennedy's passing was the same kind of conflicting emotions for many.

The Bible tells us that God does not rejoice at the death of the wicked, but He does hold them in derision.
Revelation tells us that the souls of those who were beheaded for believing in Christ ask God how much longer until justice is carried out against the wicked on earth. Even in heaven they long for justice to be carried out. How much harder is it to be patient for it from our perspective down here.

Apparently, the surgeon perforated his colon while performing this usually routine surgery. By the time this was discovered, the infection had spread.

Any way this can be blamed on Bush?
