Here's an interesting animated map of the rise in unemployment in the US of A over the last couple of years.

Wonder how much bleaker it would look if the real numbers were graphed.

Looks bad enough as it is.

In the southeast it looks like Mississippi and South Carolina have really been hit hard.

I would love to know the name of that little county in North Dakota that has 1.9% or less. Does anyone live there?

I had lunch with a friend this week, her daughter and SIL live in ND and she said they stay there because there are jobs. He does construction, teaching and woodworking.
