Major Planetary Alignment on November 5, 2006

On November 5th of this year, there will be a major planetary alignment with the full moon.

http://cgi.astrology.ca/cgi-bin/ast...&latmin=0&ns=N&longdeg=0&ew=W&mode=0&type=all

From what I can tell, this is the most significant alignment of the inner planets, Earth, Mars and Jupiter since the May 5th, 2000 alignment that marked the last major significant top in mass mood and stock prices.

http://www.spiritoftruth.org/astroharmonics.htm

Some prior significant planetary alignment stock market tops occurred with the Harmonic Convergence in August of 1987, just before the crash of that year, and the Grand Alignment in February of 1962, just before the first test of Dow 1000 and the Panic of '62 which was followed by a 15 year bear market.

Wasn't the 5/5/2000 alignment when Richard Noone predicted an axis shift that would cause thw Mississippi to divide America into two parts and change the whole east coast shore line?

T-SQUARE

Actually....this is more than just an alignment.

What we are looking at here is an alignment of the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Moon, Mars and Jupiter T-SQUARED by Saturn and Neptune.

Indeed, Jupiter and Saturn were exactly square in late-October.

There are two reasons this is relevant.

1. There does appear to be a correlation between planetary alignments and major stock market tops:

http://www.spiritoftruth.org/astroharmonics.htm

2. There is reason to suspect Russia's ruling elite are shaping history according to astrology:

Wasn't there a super-duper planetary alignment back in 1982...(or perhaps 1984)? I think the market was doing pretty good about that time...if my memory is correct. :shr:

Looks to me like the market top was the end of last week. It's been going down for the past few days.:shr:

While astrology is false and God- not the stars and planets- rules over the destiny of nations, it is a serious fact that Muslims and many global elites are steeped in astrology, and so for them, this is a BIG deal. What they will conclude from it, and what they will do, I've no idea, but thanks for an interesting post.

If my memory serves me right your memory serves you right. I remember watching a movie at the cinema twin called "the late great planet earth". The 1982 alignment was supposed to be catastrophic with title waves and earthquakes and everything.

I should have went to the other theater. I think it was showing Untra Man.

This is a bit dense.

"I figure that the rare solar transit makes this year's October 17-November 25 intersolar Mercury cycle especially dramatic. It heralds labor strife (strikes, pickets, etc.), infrastructure breakdowns and accidents (including power, rail, highways, air travel and satellite systems - possibly with a solar-induced geomagnetic activity component); automatic system failures (including safety systems in vehicles, aircraft, and marine vessels); and most especially computer-related messes (from hacker attacks and network outages to software flaws to lawsuits and other legal actions against computer hardware and software makers). True, these things are not uncommon anytime Mercury is intersolar. We're just due for a bigger, 'badder' batch this time around. In particular, watch for (and guard against) major Murphy's Law stuff around the full moon on the 5th, with its Sun-Mercury-Venus-Mars-Jupiter stellium in Scorpio and of course the year's big T-square still hanging around. (Don't be surprised by a big drop in the US dollar versus the Euro and other currencies sometime between about November 4 and the end of the year.)

Contributing to the potential for infrastructure messes is the full moon on the 5th, part and parcel of a series of geophysical stress indicators in effect from the 1st through the 10th; including the Moon's northward equatorial crossing on the 2nd, the lunar perigee (closest approach to Earth) on the 3rd, and the lunar north declination maximum on the 8th. This entire period is one when strong storms with high winds and heavy precipitation will work their destructive magic on the works of humankind - including the transportation system. Moderate to severe (Richter 5+) earthquakes and volcanic eruptions are also emphasized during this cycle."

Sounds like Y2K..

How about pole flips, earthquake, tidal waves, etc. that were supposed to occur during the alignment of 2000

The only speculative real significance of this sort of alignment, is the combined gravitational and gauss effects on our earth with of course solar flare/wind activity.

I'm not saying there's no such thing as lunacy, mind you.

Isaac Asimov, (for the relative newcomers), narrated a documentary called "The Jupiter Effect" in the mid-80's on this, where some name-brand researchers put together a hypothesis and computer model of polar shifts with Richter 12 sustained earthquakes and the tectonic plates riding up over each other with the crust buckling, 200 foot tidal waves and assorted other fun, then extreme solar flares scorching the planet. It was quite a doomsday.

Correct....the "Grand Planetary Alignment....

http://www.luckystarz.com/Catharsis/Chapters/grand.html

....and this marked the low point in the stock market from which the great bull market began that continues to this day in the DJIA.....but ended in the Nasdaq and other major indices in the spring of 2000 with the 5/5/2000 alignment. 1982 market when the DJIA decisively broke above the psychologically critical 1000 benchmark that had acted as a ceiling of mass mood for the prior 15 years.

Here's a skeptical article on the effect of planetary alignments pointing out these two key alignments:

http://www.unmuseum.org/calign.htm

Yet....in terms of historical turning points, any casual observer of the stock market will point to these alignments coinciding with the two most important turning points in the stock market....and in association world history....in the past quarter of a century.

Here's a great skeptical analysis you can listen to:

http://www.bananasinpyjamas.com/science/k2/moments/gmis9750.htm

What's great is that in the first part of this analysis, the pompous fool mentions Bode's Law....which is still used by astronomers for predicting the distance of planets from the sun. Yet....based upon my form of analysis, I found a much better predictor: Phi, i.e., the Fibonacci "Golden Ratio" - 1.618034...

If you use 1.618^x to predict the distance of planets from the Sun you find an accuracy of more than 99%.....even better than Bode's Law provides!

Of course, the timing of planetary alignments, which are a function of the planets' orbits, will abide by the same Fibonacci mathematics. Hence, Elliott Waves abiding by Fibonacci mathematics. The cycles of human history are correlated with the cycles of astroharmonics.

Here's an old write-up I just dug up on the internet:

Major turning points in the stock market usually coincide with
planetary alignments (a brief overview of this phenomenon is at-
http://www.spiritoftruth.org/harmony.html). For instance,
consider the planetary alignments that occurred in December of 1929,
April of 1932, April of 1937, June of 1942, February of 1962, February
of 1966, October of 1974, October of 1982, August of 1987, July of 1990
and January of 1994. Around the time of these alignments (usually
within a month or so) some of the most important stock market
reversals of this century took place. Just prior to a new moon/five-
planet alignment in December of 1929 and going into a November 1st
solar eclipse, the stock market crashed as the Great Depression began
(note that, in determining alignments, a geocentric perspective is
used and the Sun and Moon are considered planets). Soon after a new
moon/five-planet alignment in April of 1932, the stock market reached
a Great Depression low just above Dow 40. By the time of a new
moon/five-planet alignment in June of 1942, Hitler had marched across
most of Western Europe and stock prices reached a major World War II
low point. With a total solar eclipse and alignment of seven planets
in February of 1962, stock prices reversed from record heights as the
Panic of '62 hit Wall Street and eventually drove the stock market
down by about a third. With a full moon just prior to a seven-planet
alignment in February of 1966, the DJIA tested the 1000 mark for the
first time in history (closing high: 995) and then reversed into a
bear market that lasted until 1982 in real terms. In October of 1974,
with a tight alignment of six planets, the momentum low was reached
in the vicious '73-'74 bear market and since that time stock prices
have stayed above that low (in nominal terms). Going into a five-
planet alignment in October of 1982, the DJIA bottomed below 800 and
then exploded through the Magic 1000 barrier as the great bull market
began that many believe continues to this day. On August 24th of 1987,
the Dow reached a peak with the new moon and five-planet alignment
associated with the so-called "Harmonic Convergence". Following that
peak, the October '87 stock market crash occurred just after a
solar/lunar eclipse pair. With a total solar eclipse and six-planet
alignment in July of 1990, the DJIA sharply reversed from the
3000 mark (closing high of 2999.75 on July 16th and 17th) as the
Persian Gulf crisis erupted. Lastly, following the tightest
alignment of seven planets in 300 years, the stock market peaked
at Dow 4000 mark with the full moon in late-January of 1994 and
then entered a year-long correction (see the article, "A Rare
Planet Alignment Bodes A Bust For Booming Stock Market", in the
1/12/94 issue of the Wall Street Journal, p.B1) (For a graph of
the stock market's 1994 reversal from Dow 4000, go to the
WWW location- http://www.spiritoftruth.org/4000.gif )

We are still in planetary alignment topping mode for mass mood. A full-scale reversal should be underway by early next year.

SAGITTARIUS - unique Six planetary alignment promises change. {Sooo, let's party Dec. 17th} Sun, November 26, 2006 - 3:47 PM
Hey all fellow Sagittarians (and their close friends, & admirers ;-)) a major rare planet alignment is afoot.

When Jupiter, your ruler, entered Sagittarius on November 24, it marked a monumental moment in your timeline, one so extraordinarily special you haven't seen anything like it in years. Jupiter will remain in your sign for nearly thirteen months. This development is sure to make 2007 mighty enough for the record books, so expect the very best - U R about to become the ... interplanetary COSMIC FAVORITE!

Your health will become more robust, and you'll have an opportunity to travel far and wide in the coming months, too. Love will be on the agenda, so even if you have no one in your line of vision, all that could change dramatically in the coming weeks and months.
Romantically, you'll soon see your social life zoom forward in a big way. This phase will last a remarkable twelve months, beginning November 23. If you haven't yet met your beloved, you will have new reason to believe you will very soon. Ancient astrologers always wrote about how special a Jupiter year could be for finding one's true love, according to Susan Miller's Astrology Zone forecast.

Venus will tour Sagittarius from November 17 until December 10, giving you a sensational advantage. All the signs are there - you are about to be on your way.

You are always known to be the optimistic sign, but now you prove it in so many ways. Your golden glow will be so appealing that others will want to be near you in the hopes of having some of your fairy dust rub off on them. You may think that your positive attitude is the only element responsible for your luck, but that would only be partially true. Give credit where credit is due, dear Sagittarius, to Jupiter, working hard for you!

Gradually, as each planet begins to show up, you will have SIX heavenly bodies in YOUR sign! This is unheard of! In 2000, we had seven planets in Taurus, but we will never have seven planets gathered in one sign again in our lifetimes.

Now, for the first time, we will have six planets in one sign, and that will happen this December, in Sagittarius, in time for my birthday (Dec. 18) and for the coming holidays! I can't remember the last time I saw six planets line up in a row in one sign! So there, mercury retrograde is past us, and its once again a good time to enter into contracts, make major purchases and do business. ONward & upward.

The 2000 Taurus Alignment:

http://astrology.about.com/library/weekly/aa041500a.htm

This was the primary top in the Spring of 2000.

Archetype of Jupiter (Sagittarius):
KING AND PRIEST
The God of Thunder personifying the planet Jupiter takes on the image of the father of gods, the lighting shaker, and sometimes even borrows the name of the God of the Sky. So 'Zeus' is the transformation of the ancient 'Dyaus' and the name of Jupiter is also translated as 'father of the light'. Born after the ancient creators, he overcomes them by force, defeating chtonic monsters which were spontaneously created in the beginning of the ages and suppressing the wild rebellions of chaos.

Transcending time and influencing the fate of the world, he inherits the functions of his predecessors, repeating and fulfilling the process of creation and in so doing becomes the head of the pantheon of gods. And thus he founds a society of which he is king.

Babylonian Marduk proved his superiority over other gods and nature by ordering a star to disappear and appear again, He then became the protector of the gods and as the leader of the gods' army killed frightful Tiamat, thus Chaos could never pretend to its omnipotence over the Universe. The other gods in return built him the heavenly Babylon which of course reflected the human society of that time.

Historically, Jupiterian mythologema tooks humans beyond the context of native genus and extended the basis of society beyond the blood relationship to the level of a state built on a common ideology. It shows the next step in the development of human consciousness when such a unification, the Sagittarian unity of minds, became possible. This stage corresponds to the elaboration of religion and ritual: not only as personal magical manipulations appealing to the chtonic and elemental forces of Saturn and Uranus, but also as expressions of common thought and representations of natural law describing the universal order of Jupiter.

Usually the leader of the pantheon is the god of thunder. Mythological thought thus manifests the image of a king-priest who interacts with elemental forces and by appealing to the Sky is able to evoke the rain, which is necessary for a good crop. A picture of a thunderstorm always stoked people's imagination, so it became a symbol of the highest power. Only the strongest of gods could manage it. And the best of humans was elected to serve as the connection with the Heavens. Like Sagittarius, he directs the arrow of his mind which reaches the Firmament and brings him directs knowledge of Nature. He is able to influence natural conditions through the power of higher laws, so he excersises a power which acts above fate. Thus the image of the god of thunder was fused with the image of the omniscient god of the light Sky. Properly speaking the King of gods in his role as a king of people acts only as a translator of the higher will as it relates to the Earth. But as observed from the Earth the images may be read as the god of Thunder himself expressing the will of the Heavens.

The god of thunder's location between the Earth and the Sky associates him with high and rocky places, where lightning flashes often strike, and the Indoeuropean name of the god originates from the word 'perunt'(rock). Such is the name of Russian Perun or Indian Parjanya. We always associate the archetype of Jupiter with high elevations which widen the range of mental perception and help to order existence from above. The King of the gods coordinates the different dimensions of the world and distributes goods, happiness, riches and fame according to his fair laws.

Nevertheless he is not an primordial god, so his laws are temporary and his state from time to time must be transformed. The next archetype describes this transformation.
